He asks, pointing at the two vans he's interested in. The salesman gives him a very bright smile, this young man really has money.
"Well, since you're buying with hard cash, I can give you a good discount on both of them. How about I sell you the first one for 3,190,000 yen and the second one for 4,125,000 yen? Which one would you like, sir? Hehe, personally, I recommend the second one since it is very popular..."
The salesman says with a sly expression, obviously trying to trick Zeno into thinking that he's getting a good deal when he's actually paying full price and even blatantly urging him to buy the expensive one. Zeno only nods, not really caring about the salesman's slyness. He turned to the salesman and pointed his palm at him.
"Yes...?"
The salesman makes a confused expression not understanding what Zeno trying to do. Then suddenly a magic circle materialized on Zeno's hand before the magic circle flashed a bright ray of light to the salesman's eyes for a second, causing the salesman to become dazed after that.
"You will take care of the car purchasing process for me and will do it with sincerity."
Zeno ordered the dazed salesman as he nodded slowly in response like... well, a hypnotized person.
Zeno then handed his suitcase to the salesman before pointing at the white van which was the expensive one and also the one with the most spacious interior.
"I'll take that one and here, take the money inside this suitcase."
The salesman's eyes are still dazed as he takes the suitcase from him.
"Uh... sure, sir. Just give me a moment to get the paperwork ready."
He then went and disappeared into the store, leaving Zeno alone with the van. A few minutes later, the salesman returns with the paperwork. Zeno signs it quickly, not bothering to read the fine print since the salesman is under his hypnosis spell, and then he receives the car keys and his suitcase from the salesman.
The salesman then bowed his head deeply to Zeno as the cracking noise of his spine could be heard. Look like this guy never bows to customers this much, Zeno thought.
"Thank you so much for purchasing a car from us, sir. Your new van is ready for use and if you need another car, please visit us again."
With that, the salesman scurries off to who knows where. Zeno looks at the other vans one last time before walking to his new van. He unlocks the door and climbs into the driver's seat before he begins to familiarize himself with the van.
"Well, then..."
He puts in the key and starts the engine. The engine roars back to life and with a satisfied grin, he pulls out of the parking lot and heads outside of Kuoh Town, toward his underground base. The modifications and reinforcements will be a lot of work, but for now, he's happy with his new purchase car.
