Chapter 82: Respect

As he did so, Steve immediately assessed the man but was left disappointed. The man was nowhere near the Chairman so he couldn't compare the two.

They bore the same title as Director of their nation's associations but they were not on the same level though from how the man talked, it was clear that he was the type to talk or act above his pay grade because of his position.

"This is the Henry you were talking about?" Steve asked

"Unfortunately, yes" The chairman replied with a smile.

"Oh," Steve replied as he turned back to look over where they were looking.

The trio was standing on a small corridor that allowed them to overlook a large hall. In the hall were a group of people but Steve could recognize most of them.

They were Korea's S-ranks, each of them was either part of some guild or was its Guildmaster. Their fame was something else in Korea.

"It's that big huh?" Steve asked subconsciously as he looked in.

From afar, he finally sensed the familiar masking of one's physical form, the stealth skill.

"Now we wait for Jin Woo, then we can proceed" Henry said

"He's here" Steve said before pointing towards the only slightly dimmed soul in his vision.

[Soul Perception] wasn't really an ability he could turn off, he could see the physical world and the souls of all simultaneously. To him, Jin Woo was as visible as day.

However, he could also tell that no normal eyes should be able to see him because his [Soul Perception] had only activated after he activated the skill.

As though responding to him, Jin Woo undid the skill as his physical form was revealed to all. Immediately there were several shocked gasps within the hall.

"Interesting!" Henry stated, with greater interest than he did initially.

"Let's go," The Chairman said as he began walking towards a set of stairs that led to the main hall.

"Mr Gunhee/Sir/Chairman Sir" Everyone greeted us as we passed.

It was moments Like this that actually made one understand just how much respect The Chairman commanded.

The man himself simply waved and smiled as we passed. Henry the Director of Sentinel received no accolades at all, he just wasn't as well known as Steve initially thought he was.

Finally, within the main hall, Steve could see the S-ranks of Korea up close. He considered it weird that with how close he was to the chairman, he had yet to even see one of them before.

However, considering that during his month of freedom, he had spent it enjoying everything Korea had to offer, it was understandable he didn't meet any of them.

He couldn't access them properly because he had no reason to initiate contact with them but he could still see their souls.

One's soul doesn't exactly reveal much about one's power, personality and world alignment sure but it does nothing about the person's power.

However, it could show glimpses of what sort of power the person had. The most obvious one here was Baek Yoonho, the Beast.

He didn't need an introduction to know who he was, the White Tiger Guild was too popular to not know him.

Even so, his soul wasn't exactly human, it was as his title said, a beast. If he was given enough soul power, only god knows the sort of monster he would become.
