Chapter 14: Chapter 14 :Seeing a future woman?

"You didn't see the way those classmates looked at Peter, they were scared, disgusted, and hated, as if Peter had done something ten times worse, as if he was a monster, but ..... Peter was clearly the victim!"

"I hate this feeling!"

Gwen disheveled, covering her aching forehead, "I don't want Peter to be viewed that way, but there's nothing I can do to change that."

"You and Peter ..."

Gwen, who knew what her father wanted to ask, explained without waiting for the other man to finish, "He's my friend."

"A good friend."

Quickly she added.

"Well, don't worry, we'll find the real murderer and clear your friend's name, just give your father some time."

George assured his daughter.

...

The other side.

Uncle Ben drove Aunt May and Peter home in his Toyota that was about to fall apart.

"I'm sorry Peter, I ... I didn't know you were going through this at school.

Aunt May choked up a little.

Next to him, Peter took the initiative to comfort Aunt May, "It's in the past, Aunt May, I don't really care about that."

"I love you, Peter, I really do."

Aunt May held Peter's hands, her eyes red with remorse, and said, "I've been so worried that I wasn't doing enough to make you feel wronged that I would have preferred to suffer for you myself if I had known that you suffered all that at school."

"May, Parker is a strong boy."

Uncle Ben, who was driving, said, "I think he chose not to tell us precisely because he was worried about us. Everyone grows up with a mess at times, but I have immense faith that Peter will grow up to be a solid man one day."

Uncle Ben was also heartbroken for his nephew, but he was sensible.

There was very little he could do to help his nephew with these problems, and ultimately Peter needed to face them on his own Peter, who was being comforted by the two men, was a bit more subdued.

These bullying memories, just the predecessor left behind, he did not have too many feelings about the law of the weak and the strong, no matter where it is established fair and just, will always only exist in those nebulous lies.

Turning his eyes to the fast moving landscape outside the car window, Peter thought of something else Mounting his victim inside a nest of spider silk was the first time he'd seen such a killing technique.

The killer was a student at the school?

A Spider-Man-like being?

Or was it a genetically mutated species like himself?

His brows quickly furrowed into a frown.

...

The next day, New York Presbyterian Hospital.

Peter walked down the hallway towards Ryan's office in the oncology department.

He needed the other man to help him at all times, using the testing equipment to closely monitor the changes in the alien embryo inside his body.

As for the school side, due to Josh's accidental death, the school had a temporary day off.

Presumably, they wanted to suppress the more and more outrageous rumors about Josh's death.

Due to the extremely bizarre manner of Josh's death, all sorts of bizarre rumors were flying around the school.

Even Peter was rumored to be a murderer with secretive methods.

After all, that day, there were many people who saw with their own eyes that he threw Josh onto the locker in one go.

With that level of power, it didn't seem difficult to kill Josh.

Even though the school and the police explained that Peter had nothing to do with the incident, he was still being labeled with various spider-related titles.

Peter, who has never been a fan of school gossip, doesn't know that the students have labeled him "Spiderman" in advance.

After entering Dr. Ryan's office, the other party quickly examined him.

The alien embryo in his body was still like before, not much had changed.

"You can try eating some low-calorie foods, maybe this won't accelerate the growth of the tumor in your body, you can't take in energy for a long period of time, this will also cause damage to your body."

Dr. Ryan suggested to him.

Peter nodded his head, indifferent to his advice, the more he felt now, the more his physical strength evolved towards greater strength.

Running faster, agility and strength had gone up a notch.

If he were to deal with the previous "werewolf boy", he would be more relaxed now.

It seemed that the alien genes in his body had a greater and greater impact on him.

He did not know what stage this change would eventually develop to, and whether it would be good or bad for him.

In the end, he himself became treat hey withdrew as an alien?

Or an alien being born inside?

"So, are you really sure you don't need a blood test? Maybe ..... It will help you recognize the nature of the tumor in your body more quickly."

Dr. Lane suggested to him to do a blood test.

"No, it's not necessary."

How do you draw your own blood when it has the same corrosive properties as the alien?

I'm afraid it would corrode the syringe in a heartbeat.

Walking out of Dr. Ryan's office, Peter prepared to leave the hospital.

Just as he was walking to the common rest area, he came across an elderly woman calling out to him.

"Son, can you give me a ride to my hospital room? "

The elderly woman asked him with a smile as she sat in her wheelchair.

Peter looked around to make sure the other woman was calling for him and shook his head without hesitation.

"Sorry, I have things to do, you can find someone else."

He was not a helpful person.

"Yeah? But I can tell you're lost, and perhaps, I can give you a little immature advice."

The woman said, still smiling.

Peter ignored it, but the woman's next words stopped him in his tracks as he prepared to leave.

"Let's say I know that you want to go buy a newspaper right now, but I don't think you have any change in your wallet."

Peter stopped and watched the woman for a few seconds of silence.

He was indeed about to go downstairs to buy something.

He then pulled his wallet out of his pocket, which contained a couple of "Franklin's".

There was indeed no change in it.

Peter shook his head, put his wallet in his pocket, and said, "I did go wanting to buy something, but not necessarily a newspaper yet, and in the moments leading up to the decision, I didn't even know what I wanted."

"But Fate had already made the choice for you, hadn't it?"

Peter did not speak, and after a moment's contemplation, came over to push the old woman's wheelchair.

He would like to see what the old woman wanted.

"Thanks."

The woman smiled and thanked him "My ward is 965"

On the other side.

Dr. Christian realized his patient was missing.

One look at the absence of the wheelchair next to her and she knew her patient must have pushed it out for a walk.

She wanted to freak out now!

Obviously instructed her not to go out, she didn't realize that she didn't notice for a moment and this patient disappeared into the ward.

Just when she was ready to find the nurse to be accountable, she looked up and saw the patient being pushed into the ward.

And the one pushing the wheelchair was someone who surprised her beyond measure.
