Yin Zhu seemed to have already known he was behind her, lowered her head, and said, "Xiao Zi, I'm leaving."

The figure flashed, and that tall silhouette had already arrived in front of Yin Zhu. Among average people, the sixteen-year-old Yin Zhu, who stood at one hundred and eighty centimeters, was already not short, but compared to the person in front of her, she still fell short by a head. Her purple hair was somewhat disheveled, and her tall, strong body seemed to be filled with explosive power. Her face, carved as if by axe and chisel, gave off an impression of steely hardness, and a pair of deep purple eyes shone like stars. Those wide shoulders seemed like they could bear everything.

Ye Yinzhu had grown up, and so had Xiao Zi. Ten years had passed, and his growth in stature was astonishing, prompting Ye Yinzhu's family to marvel. Standing over two meters tall, he appeared much more mature than Ye Yinzhu, without any of the innocent and unblemished radiance in his eyes. Instead, he gave off a feeling of great depth.

Both hands seizing Yin Zhu's shoulders, Xiao Zi's eyes emitted a questioning and puzzled look.

Feeling the heat from Xiao Zi's hands, Yin Zhu looked up at him and said with sadness, "I really am leaving. This isn't about practicing the zither; I've come especially to say goodbye to you. The two grandpas said that my Pure Qinxin has been cultivated to the ninth rank and is about to enter the realm of The Brave Qinxin Sword. There's no need to isolate myself from the world anymore. They're sending me to school to learn about the outside world and to adapt to society. So, I'm going. I'm leaving right now. Xiao Zi, what is the outside world like? I've never been outside, but the grandpas say that to better experience everything in the world, they won't be sending me off."

The puzzlement in Xiao Zi's eyes gradually faded, and he nodded slowly, releasing his grip on Yin Zhu's shoulders, "I will go with you."

"Really? That's wonderful!" Yin Zhu exclaimed joyfully, jumping up like a child. But he quickly realized something was amiss and looked at Xiao Zi strangely, "You, you can talk now?"

Yes, this was the first time Xiao Zi had spoken since arriving at blue sky and sea ten years ago. Before this, almost everyone had thought of him as mute. But now, he spoke. His voice was deep and resonant, and though it felt oppressively heavy to hear, it turned into a sense of safety in Yin Zhu's ears.

Xiao Zi patted Yin Zhu's shoulder and said, "Let's go." As he spoke, he was already walking ahead toward the direction outside of the blue sky and sea.

Ye Yinzhu, who had been somewhat anxious about setting out alone, now felt filled with excitement. For ten years, he had spent almost every day with Xiao Zi. Although Xiao Zi had never spoken, through just exchanges of glances and having been his audience for ten years, Ye Yinzhu had come to regard Xiao Zi as one of his most trustworthy people and best friends. With Xiao Zi at his side, the unknown world outside didn't seem so terrifying anymore.

With a cheer, Yin Zhu flashed beside Xiao Zi and walked with him into the outside world.

"Xiao Zi, what was your original name?" Yin Zhu asked curiously as they walked. Apart from playing the zither and learning about Zhu Sect, he was a blank slate regarding the outside world. A child's years are carefree, and that was what Yin Zhu was like now. He had almost forgotten about parting with his family before even leaving blue sky and sea. With Xiao Zi accompanying him, the fear in his heart had vanished, leaving only curiosity and excitement—after all, this was his first time leaving blue sky and sea.

"Just call me Zi," said Xiao Zi.

"Oh, Zi, where are you from? Grandpa Qin said you aren't from blue sky and sea. He said you have no ill will towards me, that you stayed here only because you liked my zither music, is that right?"

Zi's response was simple, just a nod of his head.

Perhaps due to his excitement, Yin Zhu talked a lot along the way, but Zi said very little, mostly responding with nods or shakes of his head. It wasn't until they entered Luna City that Yin Zhu finally settled down a bit.

"Wow, is this the city? It looks so big, so beautiful," Yin Zhu said in awe as he looked at the grand city walls of Luna City and the endless stream of people. He ran quickly toward the city gate.

"The blue sky and sea is the most beautiful place," Zi said softly, shaking his head as he watched Yin Zhu run ahead.

Yin Zhu found almost everything in Luna City to be novel, as he had never left the blue sky and sea to cultivate the Pure Qinxin Zither Heart for sixteen years; under the sway of curiosity and excitement, he felt as if even his eyes were insufficient.

"Where are you going to school?" Zi asked Yin Zhu, a rarity.

Yin Zhu replied instinctively, "Grandpa Qin told me to first go to the Mage's Guild in Luna City to pick up some things. He also gave me a map, saying that if I followed the directions on the map, I would find the academy. All I have to do is hand over his letter to the head of the academy."

Zi extended her hand and said, "The map."

Yin Zhu trusted Zi deeply, a feeling that sprang from within, and without hesitation, he took out a specially made sheepskin map from his chest and handed it to Zi.

Zi unfolded the map and found it to be an entire map of the Ryuzakinus Continent, with a red line starting from Luna City and leading to another place marked as the destination. At the endpoint was a line of small print — Milan Magic Martial Academy.

Frowning, Zi said, "You're going to the Milan Empire, your grandparents really are at ease letting you go."

Having little concept of geography, Yin Zhu asked curiously, "Milan Empire? Is it far?"

Zi nodded her head, "To reach Milan, we must pass through the Bo Pang Kingdom. Acadia is at the southernmost tip of the continent, while Milan is considered to be at the northern end. Beyond that is the Northernmost Wilderness." His pupils contracted slightly as he mentioned the Northernmost Wilderness, but they quickly returned to normal, although Yin Zhu noticed.

"Zi, don't be afraid. Even if it's a bit far, I'm here. I will protect you," Yin Zhu said, childishly patting his chest.

Zi stared blankly, "You?"

Yin Zhu nodded earnestly, "Yes, I will protect you. Grandpa Qin said I'm already a qualified Mage."

Looking at Yin Zhu, who was a head shorter than himself, a light smile appeared on Zi's face, softening his usually stern features.

"Wow, Zi, you smiled. That's rare. I don't think I've ever seen you smile before," Yin Zhu observed fixedly, as if he had discovered a new continent.

Zi, a bit helplessly, said, "Alright, let's go to the Mage's Guild first." Thankfully, the Mage's Guild in Luna City was a well-known place; Zi just asked someone on the roadside casually and led Yin Zhu to the destination.

Although more than a decade had passed, the Mage's Guild in Luna City was still as desolate as ever, with no one guarding the entrance. Yin Zhu and Zi followed the path straight in and quickly arrived outside the main hall of the guild. Before they even entered, they could hear an argument going on inside.

There were a total of nine people inside the hall, divided into two factions. On one side, led by Diara, was Piero and another Fire Mage; the other party consisted of six Mages, each wearing differently colored robes. Judging by the colors of their robes, there was one Blue rank Sorcerer, two Green rank Grand Archmages, and the other three were Yellow-rank Advanced Mages.
