Chapter 100: Chapter 100: Black Panther's Gift

Side Quest: Wakanda's Friendship.

Quest Details: Capture the Wakandan thief Ulysses Klaue and deliver him to Black Panther T'Challa (dead or alive).

Quest Reward: A large amount of vibranium and the friendship of Wakanda, unlocking the Wakanda side quest.

Failure Penalty: None

Accept: Yes/No

Of course, this quest wasn't provided by the god-level BGM system but was imagined by Clark himself.

Although presenting it in such a manner might seem childish, the fact remains as such.

For such a profitable task, Clark's choice was clear: "Since you trust me, I will not disappoint you. However, I can't guarantee results, especially since this happened several years ago."

"I'm already grateful that Mr. Clark is willing to help," T'Challa said.

As they arrived at Clark's residence, they saw a man with a small mustache leaning against a luxury car, smiling at Clark.

This man was Tony Stark, ranking high on the Marvel wealth chart.

Tony was feeling complex emotions lately as he had been binge-watching a drama, which was, of course, the epic historical fantasy saga "Game of Thrones" written by Clark himself, now hot on the air.

The quality of this drama goes without saying, with its global success in a previous life speaking volumes.

With its grand story background, vivid characters, historical depth, and meticulous plot logic, Tony was hooked, feeling a deep sense of immersion.

Indeed, sharing the Stark surname, he found it easier to immerse himself in the character of the first season's protagonist, Ned Stark.

Ned's upright and just character, his courageous actions, all resonated deeply with Tony.

Even Ned's unjust imprisonment and forced confession reminded Tony of his own experience being kidnapped by terrorists, pretending to comply with their demands.

As he awaited Ned's growth and dramatic comeback...

With Joffrey's madness and the executioner's sword falling.

Snap!

Ned Stark, dead!

Tony felt a sudden shock, giving Clark 99999 impression points, indicating the severe impact of this twist.

In short, the viewing experience was terrible!

As the first season ended, Tony hesitated for a long time before deciding to talk to Clark about this matter.

Seeing Tony blocking the door, T'Challa smiled lightly: "It seems Mr. Clark has other matters to attend to. I won't disturb you any longer."

After stopping the car and taking out a briefcase, he handed it to Clark: "This is a gift I prepared especially for Mr. Clark. Please accept it."

"I won't be polite then." After taking the briefcase, Clark added, "Don't forget to send me the information about the thief."

"Of course."

As they spoke, Clark got out of the car.

Tony hurried over, somewhat displeased: "How could you do this? Ned Stark was clearly the protagonist, and you just killed him off. Do you have no professional ethics?"

Clark feigned surprise: "Who told you Ned Stark was the protagonist and couldn't die?"

Impression points from Tony Stark +77777!

Caught off guard by Clark's retort, Tony could only say helplessly, "The show obviously hasn't finished airing yet. Considering we're all superheroes, could you let the story's next protagonist continue to be a Stark?"

"Superhero?" Clark laughed: "What's your superpower?"

Tony proudly responded: "Being rich!"

Just then, Black Panther rolled down the window, greeted Clark, and upon hearing Tony's words, gave him a glance before rolling up the window and speeding away.

But Tony was annoyed by that calm look.

What did he see in that gaze? Contempt?

Tony Stark, contemptuously looked upon!

I'm rich, so what? Is being rich my fault? Impression points from Tony Stark +66666!

Clark, amused by the scene, thought to himself. Being rich is not your fault, but they despise you because... you're "poor" compared to them!

After much persuasion, Clark reluctantly agreed to keep the Stark family as the protagonists in the second season of "Game of Thrones."

For Clark, this was no issue.

After all, according to the original storyline, the protagonist of the entire second season was indeed Robb Stark, the Young Wolf.

What about the Red Wedding at the beginning of the third season? The moon is beautiful tonight!

After sending Tony away, Clark returned to his room and curiously opened the briefcase T'Challa had given him.

Inside were three items: a paper, a string of metal beads, and a large red cloak.

First, he picked up the paper, which read in English:

Mr. Clark: To thank you for saving my life nine years ago and to become friends with you, I have prepared two gifts.

They are Wakanda's high-tech product, the Kimoyo Beads, and a vibranium cloak I designed specifically for you. Their main uses and methods of operation are as follows.

The Kimoyo Beads represent Wakanda's cutting-edge technology, capable of communication, remote control, and even emergency medical assistance. Multi-functional and convenient.

The cloak, personally designed for Mr. Clark by the Black Panther, can serve as armor against attacks and even form a special energy shield to resist damage from firearms.

Furthermore, the cloak, used as a weapon and connected to the mind through the Kimoyo Beads, can change its length, width, and even hardness at will, adapting to Mr. Clark's will in battle to switch into any shape, making it extremely versatile.

After learning about these two items, Clark couldn't help but feel impressed. Black Panther, indeed the wealthiest in the Marvel world, offered such incredible gifts, and two at a time.

No wonder so many people want to be friends with the rich. It's truly satisfying!

Standing up, Clark put the Kimoyo Beads on his left wrist and then took out the red cloak, spreading it out to reveal its full appearance in its normal state.

This cloak was tailor-made for Clark, matching his height perfectly, looking similar to his neighbor's second brother's cloak.

The only difference was the four shining golden characters on the back of the cloak - "Miraculous Healing!"
