Chapter 6: Graduation
(years passed)
It has been a few years since Naruto started his training. Back then the anbu reported everything, about the new 'jutsu' that Naruto created
Hiruzen was shocked when he heard this. He told them to lead him to the same place that Naruto used his newly created 'jutsu'. The three of them quickly went to the same training ground and Hiruzen saw the destruction left behind by the first form of wind breathing
Hiruzen looked around the area and thought 'such power! This is not the strength of an academy student! Even the ground and stones aren't spared'. He thought more
'such talent, Naruto has for wind style '
Hiruzen is proud that Naruto is growing stronger, but he fears for his safety when other villages and unknown people are to learn about his existence. He might get kidnapped or worse killed
"Cat, Badger" he called them and said
"Whatever happened here remains between us. Understood?" Hiruzen said with a serious tone
"Hai Hokage-sama!" They both said, swearing they won't tell
Hiruzen nodded and immediately went back to his office, where he will fight paperwork yet again. Hiruzen sighed inwardly 'im getting too old for this' he said in thought

From the years passed, Naruto dedicated to his training after school and went home around 6:00
From that time passed, he leveled up, got a multitude of jutsu's, scrolls, clothes, and such. Yet he hasn't gotten a new Breathing technique
He asked the system and it said
/Host the higher your level is, the harder you will level up. And don't worry Host, you will get it soon, the rewards are just random/
"Ahh ok" Naruto said
He didn't just train, he also studied cause the system said it will be help him on the long run
Naruto didn't pay attention to what the system said but his attention was on the two fuinjutsu scroll that he got, one was a reward from the System and one is from Hiruzen. The system told Naruto again that to train his fuinjutsu he has to study and learn calligraphy
Naruto did that and went straight to Hiruzen for help
(Flashback)
"Jiji, I want to learn fuinjutsu!" Naruto said
Hiruzen raised a brow at this and asked
"You want to learn fuinjutsu Naruto? You do know it is difficult right?"
"Yeah I know but it wouldn't hurt to try" Naruto pouted
Now Hiruzen has two options
1. He gives Naruto a scroll for fuinjutsu which was low level, so he could finish the paperwork
2. He said no and might probably argue with Naruto more, and the paperwork will be left out and he has to pull an all nighter again
He contemplated for a while on what to choose.... His final decision was
'fuck it. I'm not pulling an all nighter again' he said in thought
"Just a moment Naruto" he told him. He looked at his right side and called out
"Eagle"
Then an anbu wearing a eagle mask appeared in front of Hiruzen and Naruto
"Hokage-sama" he said
"Bring me a beginners fuinjutsu scroll" he ordered
"Hai" then suddenly shunshin
Naruto surprised on what just happened he asked
"Jiji, is he a shinobi?"
"Yes. He is a shinobi from anbu"
"What's anbu?" Naruto asked
"You'll learn it in the academy"
Eagle suddenly appeared before them and handed the scroll to Naruto. Naruto said his thanks to the both of them and left and Hiruzen went back signing on the stack of papers
(Flashback end)
Naruto started studying the scroll which is the basics of fuinjutsu and it took him a week to understand it all.
He returned the scroll to Hiruzen telling him he's done. Hiruzen was sceptical that Naruto finished it in a week, so he told Naruto to show him
Naruto showed him, got a blank scroll and made a storage seal with perfect calligraphy skills
Hiruzen was shocked that his eyes were threatening to pop out of his sockets. He dismissed him before he might've gone senile

As Naruto progress he has grown taller surpassing his classmates heights, dominating taijutsu spars cause he is physically stronger than them which annoyed Sasuke
He let his hair grow long and he discovered that he has red hair colour on the tips of his hair
(Just imagine he has rengoku's hairstyle)
He started wearing the kimono and haori that he got from the tasks, he has reached the top of his class and not being the dead last from canon and has been given the title 'Rookie of the year' since he has been dominating his lessons
Some of the teachers were trying to sabotage him but he found out and improvised and immediately reported the matter to Hiruzen to which he immediately called the teachers to have a 'chat' at his office, since then none of them are trying to sabotage Naruto
Sasuke has been challenging Naruto ever since. Whether it be shuriken accuracy throw, taijutsu spar, or even in test, he always lost to Naruto. Since then he declared Naruto his proclaimed rival
Naruto's personality changed, like Rengoku's bright personality with Sanemi's temper, so he happily accepted being Sasuke's rival
Naruto's training progress in wind breathing has terrific results. He has mastered all forms. He was getting excited cause the system notified him that he will get a new Breathing technique, so he decides he will claim it tomorrow. With that thought on his head he lay down on his bed and slept, tomorrow is the graduation exam
(Present day)
Students are conversing with each other and by the excitement on their voices indicated they are excited to graduate and become shinobi
Girls suddenly scream when they see Sasuke who is being edgy, sitting at his seat, the loudest being Sakura, Sasuke didn't bat an eye on them and was focusing on his thoughts on getting revenge, which made the fangirls scream louder. The boys were annoyed at this especially Shikamaru, who was taking a nap and muttered "troublesome women"
They heard the door opened and came in was a tall boy with an athletic physique, wearing a red haori over a very pale orange-colored nagagi kimono with a black umanori-styled hakama, a pair of zōri with red straps and white tabi socks, blonde long hair with red colour on the tips of the hair, with a bright smile on his face he shouted
"Good morning everyone!" Naruto happily greeted them loudly
"Good morning Naruto!" They replied back except Shino and Sasuke
Naruto's status isn't like canon, he got a couple of friends and was liked by his bright personality, when the parents learned about this they tried to tell their children to not be acquainted by Naruto, the children however didn't listen to their parents but told them that Naruto isn't like what they told him cause Naruto has helped them on their time of need and was kind. The parents weren't thrilled about this and tried to report it to the Hokage that Naruto brainwashed their children's mind. The Hokage released killing intent when he heard this and threatened them that if this continues he will get them executed. They listened and they remained neutral when they encountered Naruto, which was ok by him
Suddenly he heard squeals and screams from some of the girls with the loudest was Ino, she Naruto's first fangirl when he helped her
"Naruto!" Ino said
"Let's have lunch together!"
"Wanna hang out later!?"
Naruto unfortunately gained fangirls, due to him beating Sasuke and sometimes helping them in need
The boys who heard this sighed again due to all of the girls attention is on Naruto
"Tch! Damn that jerk, Naruto" Kiba said with akamaru inside his jacket who barked in agreement
"N-naruto-kun..." Hinata said meekly who was getting bright red and shy when she saw naruto
"Haha. Thank you girls but I must decline. I'm sorry" Naruto said with a rengoku like smile
"Ehhh..."
"Bummer"
The girls said and went back to their seats. Naruto continued his way and greeted Shikamaru who is trying to take a nap but failing
"Good morning to you, Shikamaru!" He loudly greeted him by the ear
Shikamaru jolted by the sudden loud greeting and starts rubbing his ear
"What the hell man are you trying to make me deaf? *sigh* it's too early for this, what a drag..." Said Shikamaru
Naruto unfazed by his friends antics he greeted Choji
"Good morning to you Choji!"
*Munch**Munch* "Morning Naruto" Choji greeted him back while eating a bag of potato chips
Naruto then went to his seat and sat down. He looked to his side and greeted Sasuke the same
"Good morning Sasuke!"
"Hn" that was all Sasuke said
Naruto took that as a way of greeting back and started waiting for Iruka

(5 min later)
Iruka came and tried to calm the class down, but with no avail
Iruka ticked off he shouted "QUIET DOWN" using his Big head no jutsu
That got the class to settle down and Iruka cleared his throat
"Now I know you all are excited but be patient, as the graduation exam will start. You will all do the Bunshin no jutsu, Henge no jutsu, and lastly Kawarimi no jutsu. When you are called, come to the next room"
Everybody felt pumped on this and waited for their turn

A few minutes go by, Naruto heard his name called and entered the next room. Inside he saw Iruka and Mizuki. Iruka smiled and greeted Naruto, whereas Mizuki stayed silent
"Alright, Naruto I want you to perform the three jutsu's and we will evaluate your performance" said Iruka
"Hai! Iruka-sensei!" Naruto said with a smile
Naruto first performed the Bunshin no jutsu, he performed the hand seals and summoned seven clones of him
Iruka and Mizuki were shocked, that Naruto did seven clones. Naruto then did the Henge no jutsu with the clones and transformed perfectly into Iruka, then he used the Kawarimi no jutsu and replaced the clones with chairs
Iruka and Mizuki, again shocked by the results as Naruto has good chakra control. Iruka quickly shook his head and said "passed"
Naruto was overjoyed and smiled brightly.
"Now come here Naruto and pick a forehead protector" Iruka said
Naruto walked over then and picked a forehead protector and tied it like a bandana
"Thank you very much Iruka-sensei!" Naruto thanked Iruka, who nodded in response and called out the next one as Naruto exited the room
Iruka unbeknownst Mizuki is fuming in anger
'Damn that brat! I was hoping he would fail and manipulate him. Looks like I needed plan b' he said in thought

We see the parents congratulating their kids for passing, as the kids were happy they were now genin
Naruto looked at the scene before him and frowned that he doesn't have someone to celebrate with
'Having parents must be nice...' he said in thought
He pushed those thoughts aside and looked at the system
/Congratulations Host for passing and becoming genin. Would you like to claim the rewards?/
'Finally, there are rewards' Naruto said in thought. As he progressed further, he hasnt been getting rewards lately by the daily tasks he's doing. He crossed his fingers hoping He got a good one
'Yes'
/Congratulations Host for claiming Thunder Breathing and A rank Lightning jutsu scroll/
He closed his eyes and let the memories flow inside his mind, he knows that the scroll will appear at his apartment so he will check it later when he gets home
"Yo Naruto, come here for a sec" he heard Mizuki called out to him
"Mizuki-sensei, is there something you need?" He asked
"I just wanna say congratulations for passing and I wanna tell a little secret for you" Mizuki said
"What is it?"
"You see Naruto, when a student becomes Rookie of the year, they get a secret test to advance to chunnin rank" Mizuki said
Naruto was confused as he never heard of such a test from Jiji or Iruka, but from the weird vibes he's been getting from Mizuki, he knows he's plotting something. So he acts surprised and curious
"Really!? Then what should I do?" Naruto acted to be surprised
'gotcha' Mizuki said in his head with a small smirk
"Here's what you gonna do" Mizuki said

(Time Skip)
"...And that's all it is Jiji" Naruto reported to Hiruzen as soon as he left Mizuki for his supposed 'test'
Hiruzen pondered and said "what do you think Naruto?"
"I think that Mizuki is plotting to betray the village by stealing the forbidden scroll and frame me and leave" Naruto deduced what Mizuki planned
Hiruzen nodded and looked at Naruto with seriousness
"Naruto, as a genin of the leaf, I am giving you an A rank mission. Go along what Mizuki said and subdue him"
Naruto was surprised by this but agreed "Hai!"
Hiruzen gave him the Scroll of Seals and he went of to the forest to the rendezvous point Mizuki said
After running through the tree lines, he saw the rendezvous point and waited for Mizuki. After waiting for a few minutes, Naruto got curious and started reading the scroll
'Whoa, there are a lot of jutsu's written here, Jiji said all of these are forbidden. No wonder Mizuki wanted this scroll. Hmmm, Jiji wouldn't mind if I learn some, right?'
Then Naruto started browsing through the scroll and practicing a bit while waiting for Mizuki

Naruto saw a shadow Infront of him. He looked up and instead of Mizuki, it's Iruka
"Naruto! What were you thinking, stealing the forbidden scroll.."
"No! don't misunderstand Iruka-sensei, here's what it is" Naruto quickly told Iruka about his conversation with the Hokage
Iruka wide eyed and said "you just graduated and now your receiving a high rank mission"
Naruto scratch the back of his head
"Yeah I wasn't expecting it too"
Suddenly they sensed something and dodge immediately as shurikens struck on where they were
They quickly saw Mizuki with a large shuriken on his back
'good the brat is here and so is Iruka, if I got rid of them both and steal the scroll, Lord Orochimaru would reward me' he said in thought
"Naruto, quickly give me the scroll, Iruka came here to sabotage your test" said Mizuki
Mizuki seeing that Naruto didn't budge and saw the look on his eyes
"Sorry, Mizuki but I can't do that" Naruto said with seriousness
"Naruto leave him to me, your a genin and he's a chunnin, your out of his league" said Iruka armed with a kunai
Iruka quickly charged towards Mizuki and the two exchange blows
Kunai's clashed as sparks created the two have been trying to take down eachother, with cuts on their clothes and blood trickling from the wounds
Mizuki suddenly used the large shuriken behind his back and used it to overpower Iruka, who quickly dodged but his arm was cut, creating a large wound
"Sorry, Iruka but this is the end!" Said Mizuki with a crazed look on his face as he threw the large shuriken to the immobilized Iruka
'damn it, I gotta move!' Iruka said in thought as he saw the large shuriken getting closer. Suddenly he saw someone fast and parried the large shuriken away
Eyes widened, he saw Naruto with a katana on his hand
"Hehehe. Is that supposed to scare me, Naruto?" Mocked Mizuki
"Hey, Naruto do you know why everyone hates you?" Mizuki added
Iruka's eyes widened and shouted "stop it Mizuki!"
"The reason why everyone treats you different"
"STOP IT!!" Iruka shouted at the top of his lungs
"That's because your the nine tailed demon fox that destroyed konoha 12 years ago!"
Iruka fearing the worst he looked towards Naruto only seeing his eyes overshadowed by his bangs
"So... I already know that" Naruto said
The two of them shocked that Naruto knew already and is calmed about it
"But..."
Naruto raised his katana at a jigen ryu stance
"I can't let you get away" said Naruto with a fierce look
Mizuki angered by this, he charged towards Naruto with a kunai in hand
"DON'T BLUFF AT ME YOU BRAT!!"
With a kunai ready to stab Naruto. Naruto suddenly appeared Infront of Mizuki
'F-fast!' Mizuki thought
"Wind breathing second form:..."
Wind started to gather at naruto's katana. Raising above his head
"Claws-Purifying Wind!" Naruto unleashed four vertical slashes of wind down towards Mizuki and sliced his abdomen and sliced off his arms
Mizuki with a shocked expression, 'N-Nani' those were his last thought as he succumbed to his injuries and passed out
Iruka in disbelief thought
'what was that? I didn't see Naruto performed any hand seals'
"Iruka-Sensei"
Iruka perked up and saw Naruto looking towards him
"Are you alright?" Asked Naruto
Iruka sighed in relief and said
"I'll live"
Naruto nodded and quickly came to his side and helped him up
"Let's get you treated" said Naruto
"Yeah..." Iruka still shocked on what has happened
