Chapter 8: Chapter 8: The New Guardians
An orange glow covered the sky as the sun slowly rose.
An alarm went off and a woman slowly woke up. This woman had orange hair and was using her powers to bring her phone closer. She saw that it was 7:00 am in the morning and quickly rushed from the bed to the bathroom, as she was late for school. She opened the bathroom door, went inside, splashed water on her face and looked at her reflection. She saw multiple hickeys on her neck which reminded her of last night.
[blushing]
„Hey Eve if you are awake than come on down, breakfast's ready."
Eve: „Ah.. yeah I'm coming. She went downstairs into the kitchen.
„Hey morning sunshine."
I made her some scrambled eggs with some cinnamon rolls and also some English muffins.
She ran up to me and kissed me on the cheeks.
Eve:„Morning"
„I have to go to school now or I will be late
Don't you go to school?"
„Oh no I don't go to school. I don't really see the point of going to school anyway. I only want to help this planet and it's inhabitants.
Eve:„Well wouldn't it be fun if you went to school with me?"
„I will think about it, now let's go before you are late.
I carried her in my arms and flew towards the direction of her school.She could have flown by herself, but with her speed she would be late.I used my bio electric aura to shield her from the pressure. As I was flying in top speed.
Eve smiled as she looked at him. He gently smiled back and put a muffin in her mouth. Her eyes lit up as she bit into it. The muffin tasted so yummy and warm.
Eve: „mhmm delicious."
We eventually arrived at her school.
I made sure that no one saw us and placed her on the group.
Eve:„Thanks for the ride."
I placed my hands onto her waist and gave her a French kiss.
„I will pick you up later Eve."
„Oh and also if you are ever in danger don't hesitate to call for me and I will be there as fast as I can.
[blushing]
I waved her goodbye and walked towards the city.
Eve's friend: „Morning Eve, class is about to start so come on."Ehh Eve are you alright, you look kinda red."
I figured that it would be better to be near the city. So I thought of building a house just outside of the city. After I found the right spot I used my Master Build and super speed to start constructing a house. I first built a foundation, then the walls, doors, windows,rooms, stairs. I installed drains, sewers, taps,electrical wires and panels. When the electrical work was done I installed light fixtures, outlets, and switches.
I constructed 5 bathrooms with showerheads, bathtubs,sinks, mirrors,toilets and heat register covers, which only took 2 minutes each.
After I was done constructing all the bathrooms. I began constructing the bedrooms, the kitchen, a dining room and a living room.
After I was done. The only thing I needed left to construct was the furniture. When I finally finished I rested a bit as I may have gone a bit too far constructing such a large house, cause it took so much solar energy to construct all of this. As I don't have access to the amount of solar energy I had from the blue sun, which means I am back with the regular yellow sun amount of solar energy.
[School bell rings]
After Eve was done with school she left the building and got a call from Robot.
Eve:Hey Robot, what's wrong did something happen?
Robot: No Eve I'm calling because Cecil asked me too bring a number of powerful heroes, who may be selected to be the New Guardians of the Globe.
Eve: The New Guardians of the Globe?
Robot: Yes, the others are already here.
Eve: Okay fine I will be there in a second.
She changed into her battle suit and flew towards the United States Pentagon.
When she arrived she saw a variety of different heroes. All of them were here to become one of the new Guardians.
Robot: Eve there you're. I want to introduce you to Invincible he is a hero with a lot of potential.
He won't be trying out, but I will send him in when you guys might need help.
Eve: Hey my names Atom Eve nice to meet you. You must be pretty strong to call yourself Invincible.
Invincible: Hey yeah mhm my name.. is mark Greys.. I mean Invincible my names Invincible.
Eve: Okay?
Robot: Thank you all for coming here today. The Guardians of the Globe were more than a group of heroes. They were icons.
So those of you who pass our trials will be among the elite. The best of the best.
And with those words the fight began.
The first fight was between Atom Eve and a guy with blonde hair and a ton of muscles.
He came running like a gorilla at Eve and she quickly dodged his attacks and used her powers to create some knuckles and beat the living crap out of him. The second fight was between a real gorilla and a woman who could shrink her body. The gorilla started beating on his chests and rushed at her, but she shrank and went inside his ear where she disrupted his nerv system and caused him to vomit and fall unconscious. The fights were pretty boring and after everyone fought, Robot declared that the new Guardians was going to be Black Samson, Shrinking Rae, Dupli-Kate, Rex, Monster Girl and our final member Atom Atom Eve.
Everyone except the Guardins left.
Robot: „Now that you are the new Guardians we will be moving into the Guardians headquarters as soon as the forensic investigation of who was responsible for killing the old Guardians has concluded. Until then we will be training here. Breakfast is at 6:00 am, then close in combat exercises until lunch."
Rex: „Woah wait, there's no universe in which I wake up at 6:00 am. We don't need this boot camp bullshit."
Robot:„Rex we're not on the Teen Team anymore."
Black Samson: „Exactly!"
„I am sure you have experience on taking down some small fries,I however have been with the Guardians from day one."
Duplo-Kate: „Oh so what, are you saying that you should be the leader?"
Black Samson: „Yes, as I have the most experience, so I am the only one fit to lead this team."
Eve:„I'm not so sure about that, cause I know someone who would be perfect for it."
Black Samson:„Oh yeah and who might that be?"
