Chapter 17: The Gun (2)
3RD POV.
"Emerge from the darkness, blacker than darkness. Purify that which is impure."
[VEIL]
A Dark veil fell around both Gensui and Yuki who gauged their surroundings silently as Garuda slowly slithered through the air and moved towards Yuki.
"Isn't this so nostalgic? This is the place where I first met you" Yuki said with a smile.
"I only remember this as the place where I obliterated that monster, nothing more, nothing less" Gensui replied.
Yuki just silently smiled on hearing this and said "At that time this place wasn't so civilized right? Now it has become a whole park, with proper roads, washrooms, and water fountains"
"I'm not understanding your Point of view, come on let's fight" Gensui beckoned.
"As I expected, I've turned a blind eye for so long because of my selfishness" Yuki muttered under her breath as she lost her smile.

"I'll beat out that itch in your fist of yours!" Yuki yelled out raising her leg.
"What does that even mean!?" Gensui yelled.

Garuda suddenly flew around and balled up in front of Yuki's leg who kicked it at Gensui.
Gensui merely narrowed his eyes and dug his fingers into the road and dug it out of the ground, reinforcing it with Cursed energy, and throwing it upwards, blocking Garuda, and falling down on his back.
With the Cement flying around everywhere Yuki made use of the debris that inhibited Gensui's vision and quickly ran towards the Gensui's position past Garuda and reeled her fist back only to meet with a Grenade in her face.
*BOOM*
Unfortunately, an impact on that level couldn't even scratch Yuki.
But what could scratch her was-
"An amplified Elephant gun bullet" Gensui muttered appearing behind Yuki who merely looked at Gensui apathetically.
"But"
"This isn't for you" Gensui grinned as Yuki's eyes widened.
Quickly turning around his Rifle Gensui pointed it at Garuda who was aimlessly floating around waiting for instruction and sent it flying back, currently putting it down for the count.
"[Thermite + 750-grain 4-inch bullet] Even an elephant will get a clean hole through it and with Thermite in it Garuda gets knocked out, of course, that's mostly because of the Thermite" Gensui grinned and jumped up as Yuki tried to swipe him off his legs.
Flipping 180 degrees Gensui fired the same bullet and to counter it was merely Yuki's fist, shredding through the barrel and splattering the bullet and its content everywhere, causing a minor explosion and sending both of them slightly back.
Yuki glanced at her clothes which had started to burn slightly, ignoring it Yuki ran towards Gensui once again raising her hand up but now in a chop, appearing above Gensui she with all the muscle in her body brought it down upon Gensui's head barely managed to escape.
*CRACK* *BOOM*
The ground over which Gensui stood, split in half and continued spreading in a straight line over a large area as spiderweb-like cracks appeared beneath Yuki's feet.
'This much firepower, did she give up on holding back!?' Gensui screamed in his mind as he deconstructed the Gun in his hand.
'For now, Garuda should be asleep for some time so Yuki won't be able to track me using it, so I should take some distance from her, Using the Elephant Gun twice already took a little too much Cursed energy since I haven't practiced it much, I should stick to AK- 47 or the AR'
"Oh my Gensui even though you were so excited to fight you sure ran really fast" Yuki yelled with a mocking smile and easily caught a bullet heading to her head.
"Cheap tricks don't work on me, don't forget" Yuki grinned and ran towards where the Bullet had been shot from.
"Geh that woman caught it" Gensui muttered Grimacing and quickly moved his head aside as a bullet dug into the tree that he was standing near, cutting him slightly.
"So she can still detect me eh?" He muttered with a slight smile and blood started dripping from the cut the bullet caused him near his head.
Gensui flicked his hands a few times and grasped onto the air as he created an M107, a Long-range Assault sniper.
Looking through the scope of the Rifle Gensui quickly located Yuki who was slowly walking towards his general location with an indifferent location and quickly unloaded a bullet.
*BANG*
But of course, this did nothing but reveal his location as Yuki started running to his location, however without any sweat Gensui simply shot more bullets at her which to his surprise managed to still not make a scratch on her.
"This is too weird, According to what I know of her Cursed energy her defense shouldn't be as strong as I'm seeing right now, with how much I have enhanced my bullets I should be able to pierce through her defenses"
And suddenly Gensui's eyebrows raised and his eyes widened along with his mouth as he realized what was happening "She used a God damn Binding Vow, it was probably to not be able to use her Domain expansion for a few days, but such a sacrifice just to make me obey her one wish…"
Gensui paused at this as he concentrated 20% of his Cursed energy into a single bullet and hid it away in his clothes as he strapped the M107 to his back created an AK-47 and dashed towards Yuki.
"If this is your final lesson..... then I'll learn the most I can"
