I nod my head when I see that I have reached level twenty-five after playing for two days. EXP is relatively easy in this game, but it compensates for how you increase that level cap by adding more jobs or racial classes.
And getting that job and racial class is hard or at least tricky. Take my priest class. I need to complete a quest related to the local church. I need to kill many undead and other negative karma mobs in the wilderness before I unlock the Priest job.
To unlock the higher class of Priest, I need to explore a dungeon, which is what I will do. When I reached level ten, the priest who gave me his job gave me a quest that let me level up my job and receive a job called Cleric.
I shake my head and arrive at a shop called [Helios' Magical Shop]. I enter the building and smile a little at the NPC before me.
"Good morning, Helios."
I greet the old man in front of me.
While the NPC in this game is less advanced than in many isekai novels, they respond to a certain thing. One of them is greeting them and using polite words while talking to them. Many players in this city look at me weirdly when I politely ask for a quest to the NPC, and I understand why.
They are nothing but code, but there is nothing wrong with being polite. I also want to see if there is a hidden quest if I am polite to one of the NPC.
"Greetings, what can I do for you, adventurer?"
After he says that, a list of things appears before me. I choose the shop option and buy as many {Purification Scroll} as possible. What is {Purification Scroll}? It is a scroll that lets me instantly cast a tier-2 spell called {Purification}, which greatly damages the undead.
It cost me a lot of Gold, but with {Loot Ring} on my finger, I get double the amount of gold for each monster I kill. It cost me three months' salary of a regular joe to buy this—one of the perks of being the son of one of the wealthiest men in the entire country.
"Oh my, are you going to clear the {Terios' Grave}, adventurer?"
I blink a little when I hear the NPC suddenly say that word. I know it! They have a hidden quest for me!
I press the Y button.
"I see. In that case, will you help me put Terrios to rest?"
I press the 'What do you mean?' button.
"We need to put Terios to rest, or he will keep creating undead for who knows how long. He is a pitiful person, you know? Even after his death, he still bears a great curse that can cause great harm to the entire Vanaheim. However, the curse started to leak out of his body in recent years, leaving the corpse around his grave undead. Will you help me put his soul to rest?"
I press the Y button.
"Great! Take this." He hands me a scroll. "Terios' body is no longer in his control, and his soul has been screaming for someone to kill him once and for all, for he did not want to hurt the innocent. You need to weaken his body and use this scroll to make his soul rest finally."
I press the 'I understand' button.
"Thank you, adventurer. Please be careful out there."
Instead of leaving the building, I buy more things from him. I buy twenty healing potions and fifty mana potions. As a mage, mana is the most important for me. Combine it with my priest class; I consume a lot of mana in a fight.
After I was done with the items, I walked to the nearby shop called {Karling's Weapon Shop}. I walk toward the NPC behind the counter and quickly choose the {Shop} button. I scroll through the catalog before picking one of the weapons.
{Northern Wind Wand}

This one is good. I am going to an undead-type dungeon, which will be great for this mission. I buy the wand and leave the weapon shop. I walk to the city's northern gate and go northeast of the city. It is a public dungeon. What does that mean? It means that it appears on the map.
This dungeon can be cleared solo or with a party of four at maximum.
I shake my head and start my journey.

I throw two spells at the ghoul in front of me and release a sigh when I see it fall down. I walk toward the loot and store them in my inventory. This dungeon is filled not only with skeletons and zombies but also with a higher-level race like ghouls.
While ghouls have a massive weakness to holy attack, fire also deals huge damage to them. I can juggle spells from one to another and still deal a huge amount of damage to the ghouls.
This dungeon is easy for spell casters because the place is narrow, and there is no rogue-type enemy in this place. I can throw my spell from a distance and prevent them from getting closer to me using a binding-type spell.
However, the deeper I go, the bigger the enemy's HP gets. It reaches a certain level that I need to jump away to dodge and run away to create a distance between us.
I shake my head, remove a mana potion from my inventory, and drink it.
With my MP full, I open the steel gate before me and walk into the boss room. As I walk deeper into the boss's room, I see a massive casket by the end of the room. As I get closer, the casket blows apart, and I can see a two-meter-tall ghoul stand.
*ROAR*
The Ghoul roars and I look at the name of the boss.
{Terios (BOSS)}
Right. I point my wand at the ghoul who is charging at me and cast a spell.
"{Purification}! {Golden Chain}!"
After casting a damage spell, I immediately cast a binding spell to stop its movement. {Golden Chain} will do a small amount of damage while preventing the ghoul from moving for two seconds.
"{Magic Missile}! {Holy Bolt}!"
Two damaging spells fly from my hand and hit the ghoul in front of me. When the boss is free from the chain, I point my wand at it and activate my Angel-exclusive spell.
"{Summon Angel 2nd Tier}!"
Two angels appear in front of me. They have a pair of wings and wear silver armor with dark blue lines on the chest area. The two of them hold a flaming sword in their right hand and a golden shield in their left hand.
"Attack!"
At my command, the two angels fly toward the incoming ghoul and aggro the boss. With the boss busy with my summon, I prepare my next spell. After three seconds of charging, I point my wand at the boss and say.
"{Holy Flame}!"
White flame appears above the boss and explodes when it hits the boss. {Holy Flame} is the strongest Holy DPS spell in my arsenal. Not only does it burst damage, but it also deals continual damage for five seconds.
When the boss looks at me, I know I get the boss's aggro.
"Active special skill!"
I shout, and a second later, one of my summons releases a golden mist that makes the boss attack it instead of charging at me. With the boss' attention away from me, I attack it again.
"{Fireball}! {Holy Arrow}!"
After releasing another damaging spell, I charge another spell for a few seconds and point my wand at my summoned creatures. I continue to attack the boss with my spells and make sure the boss is not close to me.
After ten minutes of fighting, the boss is finally down to ten percent of its HP, and I take out the scroll given to me by Helios. I tear the scroll away, and a second later, I see a massive white pillar hit the boss.
The ghoul screams in pain before disappearing into dust a few seconds later. Standing in its place is a ghost of an elf who smiles at me.
"Thank you for giving me a chance to rest, adventurer."
I press the 'It is my pleasure' button.
"Please take my necklace hidden underneath my casket. Thank you for your service."
I walk toward the casket and look underneath it. I can see a blood-red necklace hidden inside a small hole underneath the casket.
