"Man! This place has grown since the last time I saw it!"
I chuckle a little as I see Bamboo walk through the guild hall. In the past four years, all of the members of Golden Dawn except for me have retired from this game. This will be Bamboo's first time visiting this place since the day he decided to retire from YGGDRASIL.
Ever since he left, many things have changed in this place.
"Of course. I will make sure to grind and make sure this place is even stronger than before."
"God. You are even more dedicated than any gamer I've ever met, boss."
If only he knew what kind of gambling I was doing right now.
"Anyway! It looks like only the two of us can beat all the dungeons, boss."
"Really? The other did not want to join, huh? Even with the money offered."
"Yeah. Most of them are already married, boss. Hell, even me already married."
"That is a surprise. I thought that you would be forever alone."
"Hey! That is rude!"
I chuckle a little as the two of us walk to the throne room and go to the treasury. Bamboo takes all his equipment and puts them on. After he is done preparing, he looks at me and says,
"Boss! When did you get this item?!"
I look at a simple wooden club in his hand. I smile a little and say.
"World Savior, the most broken World Item in the entire game."
"Yeah! With this, we can conquer many guilds when we are still active!"
"Ah, sadly, I only get that thing after you guys retire."
"I see. What a shame. Do you want to bring this thing with us?"
"Of course! We are on a grand adventure, after all. I even prepared a ton of Cash Items that prevented any of our equipment from dropping when we die."
"Awesome! Can I use this?! You are a mage and cannot use this, after all."
"Maybe later when we encounter a hard dungeon."
While most World Items can be used without class restriction, [World Saviour] can only be used by warrior-type players. Sadly, like all infamous [Twenty Almighty], the twenty most powerful World Items, they can only be used once.
"Awww… Oh well. I understand. It is a one-time-use item, after all. Anyway, can you wait for two hours? It's been a while since I got into this game, and I want to test the water before doing the massive dungeon hunt."
"Sure. I will do some hunting outside. Take as much material as you need."
"Got it!"

Bamboo shouts in frustration as he gets thrown into the air by the giant boss in front of us. I would have laughed at his misfortune if not for the boss releasing another shout.
"[To Live is to Suffer]!"
A massive purple light emerges from my magic staff and expands into the surrounding area. This is the first part of the special skills I learned from my racial job. This part of the skill increases any debuff and increases any Damage over Time effect cast by my allies.
"Now, for the second one. Skill! [To Survive is to Find Meaning in Suffering]!"
A second later, a tree appeared behind me. The tree lacks leaves, but leaves appear on each branch each second. I mentally command three NPCs to protect me as I cannot move. I can see Bamboo also retreat after I cast my ultimate skill.
[To Survive is to Find Meaning in Suffering] is the next part of my ultimate skill. If the first one increases all debuff and DoT effects, this one is the opposite. It gives a very powerful buff of ignoring enemy defense for two seconds and increases any buffing and healing effect for ten minutes. Not only that, it also resurrected anyone who died in battle.
The downside is that I cannot move for twenty seconds, and if someone forcefully moves me, I need to restart the spell. Not only can I not move, but I also cannot cast any spell and get buffed as long as I am casting this spell.
This is why I need three NPCs to protect me so I can cast this spell without any problem.
For now, I can only watch as the others fight the boss and ensure the tank can take all the damage the boss gives them. After the twenty seconds of casting time has passed, I shout.
"Bamboo! It is done!"
"Finally! Let's do this!"
A second later, a massive green energy spread two hundred meters around me. Bamboo shouts in excitement and activates his most bizarre skill.
"Go! [Random Throw]!"
Yup. That is a real skill his class gets, and it is working. It boosts any items he throws at the enemy.
"Bwahahahaha! Explode my pretties!"
Massive explosions are happening, and the boss roars in anger. The giant, Thrym, looks at Bamboo and starts to charge at him. However, I command Gabriel to activate her skill before he gets too far.
I can see Gabriel raise her sword and activate her taunt skill. A second later, the boss changed direction and attacked Gabriel with all his might.
"[Focus Magic], [Summon Ange 7th tier], [Maximize Magic: Aspect of Elemental], [Widen Magic: Blessing of Celestial], [Maximize Magic: Light of Heaven], [Widen Magic: Monarch's Aura]"
Spell after spell, and skill after skill, has been cast by me to support my allies in this fight. I look to the side and see Bamboo release a maniacal laugh as he throws many bombs and other things at the boss.
After twenty minutes of fighting, we finally see the boss fall to the ground, dead.

Bamboo shouts in excitement. He looks at me and says,
"It's been a while since I got this much excitement."
"Because this is what gaming gives you. Excitement."
"You are right. Sadly, when you have a child, you do not have time to play like before."
"How is your family?"
"They are doing great, boss. My daughter already calls me Papa!"
"I am happy for you. How is your job?"
"It is great. Thank you for giving me the recommendation paper, by the way."
I wave my hand and say.
"It is not a problem. Anyway, let's loot this place and continue our hunt."
