Chapter 26: Trouble

"Boss! Are you alright?" Vladimir's subordinate ran in his direction, feeling apologetic for coming late. 

He could see the aftermath of the intense brawl between Vladimir and his five opponents. Vladimir's clothes hung disheveled. His knuckles bore the crimson stain of his opponents' blood.

"Brandon, who is this woman?" Vladimir nonchalantly asked his subordinate.

Brandon followed his line of sight and was surprised to see a woman lying unconscious on the ground. 

'Did our Boss save this woman?' He blinked in amusement. It was unusual for his Boss to intervene just because of a woman. 

He pulled out his phone and checked something on his record to identify the woman. "She's Sasha Smith, one of our VIP clients tonight. Is she–"

Brandon didn't finish his words since Vladimir started to walk away, not even showing a bit of interest in the woman before them. "I'm going home. Luna is super late. Tell her to submit the progress report tomorrow."
