Chapter 27: CH: 27 Teacher's Teacher

The broomstick is incredibly fast.

Guided by the magic cursor, as if there were magical navigation, Anton quickly arrived at the small island of the goblin Pedro.

"Do you want to come in with me?" Anton asked mischievously, knowing that the old man had a good reputation and didn't like meeting acquaintances as a ghost.

To his surprise, when he turned his head, he realized that Fiennes had disappeared without a trace.

Hmm...

Anton didn't mind and lowered his broom.

With his left hand tightly gripping his wand beneath his wizard's robe, he knocked on the goblin's door once again.

After waiting for what felt like an eternity, steady and precise footsteps approached. The sound of the latch being opened was followed by the sound of the chain, and the door slowly swung open.

A delicate little face appeared behind the door.

It was still the little girl, Anna Rosier.

The little girl was wearing an intricately embroidered Victorian-style royal blue dress, but she had a brown dragon-skin artisan apron over it, which was stained with oil.

The proud little swan nodded politely to him and said, "Mr. Rosier is here."

As he turned to leave, Anton caught a glimpse of the little girl rolling her eyes discreetly.

"Hehe." This man really held grudges, doesn't he? Anton followed him inside.

The goblin's hut appeared small from the outside, but there was plenty of space inside, clearly achieved through the use of an illegal Traceless Stretching Charm.

At the front was a seemingly ordinary living room. As Anna entered, she walked around and made her way to a laboratory filled with strange instruments.

Lupin lay on a wooden shelf resembling a Muggle bed, with a bulky instrument suspended above his head, extending towards his eyes and holding what appeared to be a telescope.

Lupin still looked pale, indicating that he was awake, and he suddenly noticed Anton's presence.

The goblin Pedro stared at Anton's chest and muttered something.

Upon hearing the noise, Lupin raised his head and set the instrument aside.

"Little wizard, you've caused a bit of trouble."

Anton shook his head in disbelief, "Don't lie to me. My teacher is a master of the Cruciatus Curse. Normally, if you're hit by the Cruciatus Curse, a wizard only needs a few days to recover."

Pedro sneered, "Master of the Cruciatus Curse, huh?"

"Of course, of course, his Cruciatus Curse is incredibly powerful." Pedro pulled out his cigar again, motioning for Anton to follow.

As they passed through an adjacent workshop, Anton caught sight of a peculiar contraption filled with gears. It stood eight meters tall, and Anna, with her slender frame, was standing on a shelf, struggling to tighten the screws with a large wrench.

The scene was quite intriguing—a meticulous and expressionless little girl, with proportions that resembled a mix of a mouse and an elephant.

"Anna, take a break," Pedro called out.

Anna simply nodded and continued to exert effort in lifting the wrench.

"The large-scale Time-turner, I'm the only one in the world who still understands this craft," Pedro boasted, waving his hand with the cigar in his grasp, making a striking appearance.

Anton nodded silently, showing no interest in the contraption.

The Time-Turner is one of the most commonly described elements in Harry Potter books, and Harry is quite familiar with it.

However, regardless of which book he reads, it clearly emphasizes that the time converter in the wizarding world cannot alter anything.

Wizards can only move forward, and while going back in time may not be entirely useless, it is certainly of limited value.

After traversing several enigmatic rooms, He finally arrived at a chamber with an enormous table.

On the table sat a towering pile of sand.

"I often bring patients' families here to explain their conditions," Pedro explained, extending his thick fingers to lightly touch the table.

A model resembling Lupin emerged from the sand.

Well, it's pure magic.

Anton observed Pedro's movements with curiosity, hoping to learn such gestures himself.

"Ah, just like your teacher, always eager to learn everything you see," Pedro remarked, clearly noticing Anton's gaze, his tone dripping with sarcasm.

Anton paid no mind to the comment, instead fixating his bright eyes on the Lupin model atop the sand pile and exclaimed with admiration, "You can create it yourself!"

Lupin, crafted from sand, suddenly writhed, his body swelling as his height continued to increase until he transformed into a werewolf.

"Your teacher holds a rather foolish belief," Pedro expressed his strong disdain for Fiennes.

"He believes that werewolves are the only magical creatures that humans can transform into as Animagi."

Anton nodded in agreement, "It is said that Animagi can only transform into non-magical animals. The teacher believes that werewolves are the only magical creatures that humans can transform into."

"That's because he lacks knowledge," Pedro sneered, his face contorted with contempt.

"Speaking of which, would blood-cursed beings be considered magical Animagi?" Anton coincidentally encountered a blood-cursed individual a few days ago, named Nagini.

Nagini was once a human but inherited a blood magic curse from her mother. This curse transforms a person into a snake, gradually erasing their human form and memories.

"There are so many possibilities, the world is far greater than what his eyes perceive," Pedro sighed, then turned his gaze to Anton. "Young wizard, did you follow my instructions and drink the potion for your teacher?"

Anton pursed his lips, a hint of embarrassment on his face. "He is a very powerful wizard, I'm still waiting for the right opportunity."

Pedro gazed at him intently and chuckled, "No matter the difficulties you face, you must fulfill it. No one can resist the 'Unbreakable Oath', not even Dumbledore, who pays a heavy price."

"You feed your teacher, and I'll cure your friend. Let's each do our part. The magic spell will ensure that everything adheres to the agreement."

Indeed.

"Alright, I have fed my teacher," Anton replied with a smile.

"Impossible!" Pedro exclaimed, disbelief evident in his expression.

"With his knowledge of potions, it's unlikely that you found an opportunity so quickly. It has only been a few days!"

At that moment, a headless figure emerged from the sand on the table, holding its head in its left hand, and looked at Pedro with a smile. "I can vouch for him, he did indeed feed him."

Fiennes's expression became complex as he stared at Pedro. "My dear teacher."

Pedro was clearly taken aback, stepping back in panic upon seeing Fiennes's face. In his hand appeared a long dagger that appeared to be crafted from a dragon's rib.

The inscription on the blade glowed like a spell.

"Are you afraid of me, my teacher?" Fiennes chuckled.

Pedro swallowed, and the long dagger in his hand vanished. He looked at Anton in astonishment, then shifted his gaze towards the headless figure.

"You... You actually killed him and severed his head?"

Naturally, Pedro was well-acquainted with ghosts, or rather, he was familiar with their existence. That's why he found it outrageous. Given Fiennes's current state, it was evident that his head had been severed and he had perished!

What had this young wizard done?

Anton, too, stared at Fiennes and Pedro in shock. "Teacher?"
