Chapter 8: Such a Tsundere
"I hate to be the one to tell you this, but disciple you don't have much to live, so make the best of the short time you have left."
A hose voice played in Ae Cha Nari's mind as she walked next to Namgung Wong who was silent the whole way and the more she looked at him, the more she felt pained by her death.
For a member of the Yeonso clan which practices Yang Ki based Martial Arts, Cha Nari knew that a day when the Yang ki starts over powering the Yin Ki in her body would come. She had already accepted her fate of burning to death, but after what happened a few minutes earlier her mind changed. She now was filled with hunger for life.
"..."
"Is something wrong?" Namgung Wong asks, as he looked at the girl who had a shy and worried expression, with her cute face directed at the ground.
"Brother Wong." A tear broke down her cheeks, making the two halt their steps.
Wong wiped out the tear on her face, as he caressed her cheeks, "Nothing is going to happen to you, trust me."
It was like a soft spot of her heart was touched, as more tears started to stream down her face. It was the first time someone told her that she would live, after she eat the thousand year ice-ginseng, which happened to have no effect on her.
"Thank, hic, hic, you!" She hugged Wong ignoring all the weird glance from the Martial Artist walking on the dusty path, "You-you-you are all I need. Waaah...!"
Even if she where to die, Cha Nari wanted to at least die next to the person she loves. A few months ago she used to be a ghost in a crowded room, but when the foolish swordsman of the Namgung family talked with her, people started gathering around her, even though most of the times it was to warn her about Wong's past.
She began following him to look for reasons why people disliked him and the only thing she found out was that he couldn't gather ki, which worried her a lot, just because one is disabled, it doesn't mean they should be hated for it.
Wind moved, leaves fluttered in the air, people walked by as they gossiped, the sun drifted to its zenith and Ae Cha Nari finally stopped crying.
"I think now is the best time to show me around." Wong smiled, as he kept his gentle hug on the young girl.
"Can we stay like this just for a minute longer?"
"Sure."
Although the two looked happy, the people walking gave them death glares filled with nothing but hatred and jealousy.
"Tsk." It was one of the male Martial Artist who saw Wong earlier, "That fool is already taking a second girl for the day. Just what do they see in him anyway?"
"He has better looks compared to a guy like you who only, stops and stares, at the girl he likes without making a move."
The Martial Artist frowned even deeper, "Nobody even taught me, how to approach a girl before?"
"Should we ask Namgung Wong for advice?"
The two stopped moving and looked at Wong with eyes filled with respect, as they mutter, "I want that too."
The two walked over to Namgung Wong's room and birds chirped, groups of people passed, the sun moved closer to its mother's embrace.
"Cha Nari shouldn't you let go of me?" Wong weakly asked, as his stomach felt the need to really eat something for the day.
"Just one more mi-" Ae Cha Nari paused her words, as she finally realized she was acting out of character. Her face turned vermilion red and with sudden gust of ki channeled to her hands, she violently pushed Wong, "Get away from me!"
"Argh!" Wong groaned in pain as his back hit a tree, "That is going to hurt."
"Humpf," The young girl pouts, as she looked at her side, "You deserve that stupid Namgung Wong."
'She reminds me of Anisha.' Wong thought with a smile on his face, as he walked up to Ae Cha Nari, "Can we get something to eat?"
"Do I look like, I am holding you!" The look on Ae Cha Nari's face wasn't one bit friendly, but her thoughts were other wise, 'Eating with brother Wong, how great is that? I can even picture him, feeding me, oh! Brother Wong feed me.'
"Please Cha Nari." Wong word's faded with a charming smile all over his face.
"Haa!" Like she was hit with a heart attack, Cha Nari heart skipped a beat as she blushed with her face locked at the forest, "If you insist, I guess, I will buy you some food, but it's only for today."
Wong nodded and the two slowly moved to the inn which was near-by, with Ae Cha Nari shouting at the young man sometimes.
Arriving at the inn which was crowded by Martial Artist the two received weird glances, as they looked for a table to seat.
–"Look its the foolish swordsman."
–"Is he trying to hit on another girl after being humiliated in public by the third Ice Princess."
–"Ha ha, there is noway my Ae Cha Nari will ever go with a fool like him, it would have been fine if it was his twin brother Namgung Luo."
–"You are right, Namgung Luo can take any girl by just smiling only."
–"I wish, I were his twin brother instead."
"Twin brother?" Wong muttered with a slightly confused look, as he sat on a bench facing Ae Cha Nari.
"Tsk, don't tell me, you forgot about Namgung Luo, thanks to this "damentia" you are having." The brown girl pouts, as she received a bow of chicken soup noodles in front of her.
"Haa yaa." Wong sighs, as he wraps the noodles perfectly on his chop sticks before moving then towards Ae Cha Nari, "Say, "Ahh!""
"..." Cha Nari couldn't believe what was in front of her, as her face turned tomato red, 'Brother Wong is going to feed me, what should I do? What should I do? If I say 'no' he might never talk to me again.'
Cha Nari shly pushed her hair back, as she opened her mouth, "Ahh!"
Seeing Cha Nari severing the taste of the noodles, Wong smiled, as he began to eat, 'She is such a tsundere.
