Because of that, following the standard isekai troupe, I woke up in an all white room in front of a benevolent looking old man.
"So, I assume you're the ROB, God or whatever...?" I inquired.
He smiled lightly and nodded, "More or less. I'm responsible for your reincarnation."
"So do I get wishes or not?"
"No wishes. However, I'll let you create your avatar. But, first tell me which world you want to go to?"
"DxD. I'd like to go to the world of High School DxD." As a boobs guy and avid fan of action, harem genre; that place is a paradise!
"As you wish. Let's proceed with your avatar creation."
At the old man's words a blue holographic screen appeared right before my eyes.

[Race]
[Background]
[Special ability]
For gender, of course I chose male. I kept naming for the last. Race....
There were many options except Gods and Buddhas all the other races were possible. Humans were out of the question, the starting point was too low. I had to work my ass off even with unrivalled potential.
Dragons were a good option but I decided against it. High potential, but extremely slow growth rate and most get, hunted or enslaved before they can mature. So, I'll always be on the run.
Devils then.
As the central race of the story Devils undoubtedly have the most optimal conditions.
Despite their glaring weaknesses they are the best race to go for.
Also, some of the weaknesses are easy to eliminate.
Now about background... Hmm, that'll do!
[Unknown descendant of Lucifuge Clan. A natural-born Super Devil equal to the combined might of Sirzechs and Balberith. Acquired the sleep disease, due to this his parents hid his existence. His parents died in the civil war before telling anyone about him. Therefore, no one knows his existence]

Unparalleled talents, same as Balberith; who can potentially fight against a Dragon God single-handedly combined with Sirzechs the strongest Super-Devil was utterly broken!
Some may argue but Balberith was, hands down the most talented Devil ever.
You have to know Sirzechs, also a natural-born Super Devil, wasn't born with ten times the amount of demonic power as Lucifer.
He had two centuries to train and master his abilities to reach that level.
He was already sixty years old, at the time of the Civil War. By the time canon started, he was two hundred or so years old.
On the other hand, a newborn Balberith terrified Hades; one of the top ten's from the time of his birth.
As for sacred gear, I needed none. Relying on an artifact can take one so far. Natural talent and hard work trumps all.
Sirzechs or Ajuka nor Vasco Strada none of them had sacred gears. And honestly, the best sacred gears can take you was lowball God-class.
You have to know Juggernaut Drive was the limit of Boosted Gear and Divine Dividing.
Issei transformed his Juggernaut Drive into True Queen or Cardinal Crimson Promotion.
On the other hand, Vali evolved his Juggernaut Drive into Empireo Juggernaut Overdrive.
DxD and AxA are not counted as the sacred gears power but Ophis and Great Red's.
It's better to master Excalibur or Gram then waste time on sacred gears.
As weak as Kiba was. He could affect DxD Issei using Gram when he hadn't yet mastered the sword completely.
Just put your heart into it and Excalibur, Caliburn or Gram can slice apart Gods for you.
Vasco proved it with Durandal.
Enough with the rant.
Now for the special ability.... Gomu Gom—
"Wait! You can't choose powers from another world! Also, you can only pick one special ability."
Just as I was about to choose my special ability, the ROB interrupted.
"What!? Why!?"
"Well, you see... You do not have enough Karma. That's also why you can only create an avatar instead of getting wishes." It explained.
"Huh, but aren't you omnipotent?"
"I am. But, this is a little complicated. You see, I may be omnipotent but I can't randomly do things on a whim. To gain you have to give. Normally, those who get the opportunity to reincarnate are those with high amounts of karma. "
"I grant their wishes corresponding to their karma. You on the other hand, is an exception. To be blunt, Truck-kun wasn't your Isekai hammer. You were meant to die on that accident. That was your destiny. But, because I took an interest in you. I decided to give you this chance."
Oh.... That explains why every fanfic protagonist cannot ask for omnipotence right off the bat. No one can possibly accumulate enough Karma to wish for omnipotence.
"But, what would happen if you give me power from another reality?" I asked out of curiosity.
"Since, you don't have enough Karma to offset the entropy. It will lead to a chain reaction and... things might get disastrous. It's true, I'm an omnipotent being. But, my omnipotence exists in the confines of the Omniverse. Even an omnipotent being has to abide by the absolute rules of reality that govern the reality itself."
"Just like, how you can't create an almighty hammer that can destroy you. As then you won't be omnipotent anymore?" I asked.
"Bingo!" The old man clapped his hands.
"Now that you understand my situation. You can decide what special ability you want."
Hmm... Oh I know! That one—
[Penetrate- One of Ddraig's developed powers, which allows him to penetrate anything that tries to block his attacks, whether they be defenses, special abilities or even other attacks, seemingly ignoring everything but his targets baseline physical durability.]
One of the three abilities Ddraig developed while competing against Albion. It was introduced a lot later in the story during Issei's fight with Rizevim.
Boost may seem a strong ability but it still pales in comparison to penetrate.
The ability to bypass all forms of defence except the opponent's baseline physical durability was tremendously overpowered!
You have to understand, most supernatural beings in DxD use either aura, or magical barriers to defend.
But, Penetrate can ignore all that.
Heck! The ability was so broken it bypassed Rizevim's seemingly invincible power [Sacred Gear Canceller] that can nullify abilities of Longinuses.
Going by the nature of [Penetrate] it should be able to hurt true form Sirzechs and bypass Ajuka's Kankara Formula.
Now, about appearance.....

"Alright. Now that you're done with creating your avatar. Choose the timeline and whether you want to be reincarnated as a child or transmigrate."
"I want to transmigrate when Rias was in her second year at Kuoh."
