Gathered all around my 'mother' everyone looked alert
"Anytime now, the hope of our house shall be born!" the man said.
BORN!?
I see, so they are having a baby, just like me they want to revive the house huh.
So right after they had this 'Failure' they did the devils tango huh.
Bloody Hell when do I get a break?
Now I have to deal with a sibling as well!
"I feel it coming!" the woman yelled.
Here it is! The wonderful and painful part of pushing a human out into the world.
"AHHH!! I-It Hu-urts" yelled the white haired woman in pain
That baby's head must of been really big, at the same time, was I this hard to push out?
"You can do it Milady!" one of the servants said.
"Push it out Eleanor! Our family's savior is almost here!" father said.
"This shall be a day of celebration!" father yelled with joy.
"It coming out! It Coming!" the woman yelled.
I think I can see the head coming out of the sheet....
What?! Does that baby have hair? Ha ha, how come this baby came out of the womb with hair?
"Call for the appraiser" father ordered the servant.
"This Baby.." father said, reaching for the baby.
Now out of the womb, the baby cried, and cried.
"Wah! Wah! Wah!"
"This Baby! This Baby will save us!" father now holding the baby up in the air.
"His name shall be.. Cedric... Cedric Von Veridian!" father yelled with joy.
**Door opens**
"I have called for the appraiser" the servant said in a hurry.
"I am here." The Appraiser said.
"Appraise this baby quick, we shall see what his skill is!" father said.
"He won't turn out like this good for nothing!" father said.
The baby was laid on a crib, the crib - which consisted of a wood frame with silk as the sheet.
The appraiser started the incantation.
"May the almighty gods up above, bless us and unravel the unseen!" The appraiser said.
Particles came out from his hands and while that was happening, the room got dimmer, concentrating all the
light upon those golden particles that came out of the appraiser.
This is the first time I have seen magic, its so beautiful, the color of the particles, like honey.
The particles flowed towards the baby, and entered him.
Then all of the sudden, the room lightened, and became just like before.
Now laid upon us, another window, just like the one I had seen when I first opened my eyes.
Now everyone looking at the window, in front of the baby, they stood speechless.

"We actually did it!"
Wow, Holy Swordsman huh, I am also left speechless.
How can I say anything, from one failure to a success.
Father now crying of joy, and mother (The Woman) also speechless.
"GO! Announce the new heir of House Veridian to the whole town! Cedric, you shall revive us!" father said.
"Words shall reach the Capital! A Holy Swordsman has been born!" yelled father.
The appraiser still speechless, left in a hurry.
Joy was in the air, but all I could do was stare with a serious face.
I can predict how my life will go. Nothing too good will come out of this for me.
"Wahhh! Wahhh! Wahhh!" cried the baby.
Now that I look closer, mother has black hair but father has white hair, the baby has white hair, and so do I.
I guess white hair runs in the veins of the Veridian House huh.
After the whole ordeal, I was taken back to my room by the servants.
"I guess the news of the new master's skill is going to make our house popular huh" Servant A said.
"I hope that the country allocates more funds for the state! we will get paid more!" Servant B said with joy.
"Hahaha!" the servants laugh in unison.
I don't think its that funny.
I mean does it really matter much that the kid got an important skill?
If he turns out to be a failure, then what will happen to our house?
Once I was left in my room, all lonely.
I remembered, this is sort of like my old life isn't it.
My parent's abandoned me at a young age, had to work hard to survive.
But that's a story for another time.
Now, I was alone in my room.
I had two options, train, or go to sleep.
I already knew which option I was picking.
Sleeping! Of course, the day had been pretty tiring.
Seeing as I am a shadow, something that will never be respected in this house.
Feeling down, I laid in my crib looking at the window.
The only window in my room, the window had spiderwebs, but it gave a great atmosphere.
The dark room, the light night, mixed when touching the window.
It gave me a sense of serenity.
When that happened, I fell asleep.
-- Next Day
"AHHHH!"
What the!
I looked around my room, it was now morning.
However, it wasn't just any regular morning, today, something was different.
Today, the room was gray, like what you see when it rains.
I gray day, I woke up in a cold sweat, remembering my past brought me pain.
I had a nightmare for the first time in this world.
Nightmares which I thought I lost after becoming an adult returned.
It was still raining outside, I could feel the sound of water drops on the window and the room.
I was calm, but alarmed at the same time.
**Creek**
The door opened!?
I sat up and looked towards the door.
What the?
What is that maid doing, I've never seen her here before.
In front of me, a young girl, she had long brown hair and brown eyes.
A person who looked like a typical commoner.
However, she felt different, I could tell she wasn't like the other servants.
"Oh goodness! There you are!" the lady said.
I stared in confusion, this lady, dressed in a maid outfit, was looking for me?
"Come on now Master Adrian, don't you want to go outside?"
