Chapter 17: The Moment of the Truth
It was after the fight between Nobita and gian
Nobita and Takumo are walking on the roads of Tokyo
"So what do you think about eating some ramen today you must be tired? Right?"Takumo said
"Because of the fight?"Nobita asked
"I wouldn't call it a fight but definitely beating although that's not what I am saying we are walking for around 2 hours now and unlike you I didn't even eaten the breakfast or lunch today"Takumo said
"It's your fault you have plenty of time after the workout"Nobita said
"I wasted it on that line of sweets "Takumo replied
"So you don't count them as food"Nobita said
"Well the line was too big I almost waited for 1-2 hours there but they are too popular so only 5 pieces were left even though I bought all of them I saw a kid and you know how kind hearted I am I just gave him 2 pieces"Takumo said
"You really did a good thing just like him he also did this once when he waited for some kind of special doracakes for many hours in line he finally got some but then he saw an old lady who was standing just after him came for taking those doracakes for his grandchild even though Doraemon knew those doracakes are special he gave them to that old lady" Nobita said while looking up in the sky it looks like he was lost in that memory of Doraemon
"I know but can we go and eat I am hungry"Takumo said he knows Nobita can easily spend days just remembering a single incident so he just try to put his mind somewhere else
"Yeah you are right let's go"Nobita said and they both made their way towards the nearest ramen shop but when they enter they saw some familiar faces there and it was his friends
"I didn't thought they would be here"Takumo said
"Let's go somewhere else"Nobita said but when they just turned gian called Nobita
"Hey you can join us 'Nobita' and you too Takumo"Gian shouted while forcing the word Nobita for seeing his reaction but Nobita didn't show any
"Oh sorry Natsuo I mean"Gian said
"We are fine you guys can carry on"Nobita said as they are about to leave but kotaro stopped Nobita by grabbing his hand
"Let's eat together big bro"Kotaro said with his cute face and sparkling eyes but as always they didn't effect Nobita
"Sorry Kotaro some other day"Nobita said
"Please"Kotaro requested
"No"Nobita said mercilessly
"Give up kotaro that big bro of yours doesn't wanted to eat with you so he was just going somewhere else to eat"Akane said from behind
"Is it right big bro you doesn't wanted to eat with me"Kotaro said with water in his eyes
"Give up already you merciless brat can't you see he was about to cry"Akane said in a angry voice
"Am I here or not"Takumo thinks
"Alright kotaro I am coming"Nobita said and take the seat
"You are coming or not"Nobita said to Takumo
"It took you a bit long to notice I am also here"Takumo said
"Hey Natsuo did you ever come to Tokyo before"Akane asked
"Yeah"Nobita said
"When, I mean I never seen you here before"Akane said
"I prefer not to say also I am here just because of kotaro so don't ask me any questions"Nobita said
"Don't be angry Natsuo she just asked a question"Gian said
"And I said I don't want you guys to ask any questions"Nobita said after this they didn't ask any questions
After eating Nobita and Takumo again made there way leaving the others but this time Kotaro was with them too
After a while of walking Takumo stopped infront of Nobita's house
"Hey Natsuo do you think we should tell him about you"Takumo said
"And why"Nobita asked
"I think all of them has started to doubt you and Kotaro being close to you I think they will use him for knowing your true identity"Takumo said
"I'll never tell them that you are super hero big bro don't worry"Kotaro said
"I told you I am not a hero didn't I"Nobita said
"No you are"Kotaro said
"I am not"Nobita said
"But you saved me"Kotaro said
"Alright stop now it's enough"Takumo said
"But"Kotaro was about to say but Takumo stopped him
"I said no more discussion about him being a hero"Takumo said
"Alright"Kotaro said
"So now I think we can tell him so he can support us in saving your identity"Takumo said
"Do as you please"Nobita said
"Alright kotaro first come inside we will talk in Nobita's room"Takumo said
"Nobita?"Kotaro said
"I'll tell you first come inside"Takumo said and all of them made there way towards Nobita's room and after coming inside the room
"Ok so let's continue kotaro you big bro's name is actually Nobita Nobi"Takumo said
"Wait I heard about him does that mean big bro was the one who left his home one night before telling anyone"Kotaro said
"Yes, But you are too young to understand the reason so don't ask for it"Takumo said
"Ok"Kotaro said
"Your big bro was an old friend of your friends but they didn't treat him like one and now your big bro doesn't wanted them in his life anymore so he was hiding his true identity from them and now you have to help him"Takumo explained to kotaro
"But how"Kotaro asked
"Just tell us there plans and if you can try to fail there plans to that's all"Takumo said
"I understand but big bro you really don't like them but they talked about you too much every time I meet them they are usually talking about you"Kotaro said
"It's just there guilty kotaro they think because of there behaviour"Nobita said
"If you say so I believe in you big bro and I won't let your secret to be find out"Kotaro said
"Thanks kotaro"Nobita said
"But don't screw up the plan"Takumo said
"Yes I won't"Kotaro said
"Alright then but Nobita you have to at your guard in school"Takumo said
"I know that"Nobita said
These types of talk go on for few while just like this and then kotaro returned to his home
"Do you think you did the right thing by telling him the exact truth"Nobita said
"No except your name he probably know other things about you as he said your usually talk about you so even if I lied he would have came to know the truth by them"Takumo said
"You are right and now we can easily protect my identity"Nobita said
"Yeah"Takumo said
*THE NEXT DAY"
Nobita was sitting on his desk at school and akane just next to him
"So Nobita"Akane said but as expected he was prepared not to answer
"Oh sorry I mean Natsuo do you know Shizuka was the lowest scorer in the primary school but now she started to study"Akane said ofcourse it's a lie but she wanted to see Nobita's reaction on it as if he was an old friend he must have known that Shizuka was counted in toppers even in the primary school
But Nobita didn't react the way she want
"It's good that she started to study I think you should do it too and if not atleast let me"Nobita said which make akane angry
"What did you just said you creep"Akane said but Nobita just ignored her
She can't do too much as teacher was still in the class so she just sat shut after this
*AT LUNCH*
"Hey Natsuo do you want to come play baseball today with us"Gian asked
"No"Nobita said
"I think you should"Takumo said while coming from back
"He is right it will be fun"Gian said
"You are just lacking of players as always"Nobita said at which gian smirked
"I mean that's why you are asking me even when we aren't friends"Nobita said to clear the situation
"Can I join too"Takumo said
"If you wanted too"Gian said
"Alright than both of us will meet you at ground after school"Takumo said and after this gian left
"You almost screwed up there I think you should be more careful"Takumo said
"I know but why did agreed to go and play with them"Nobita asked
"Just to show them you are not Nobita"Takumo said
"And how"Nobita asked
"They must be thinking that even if you become stronger you still lacks the skills in that game it will atleast convince them a bit more that they have mistaken"Takumo said
"I think you are right"Nobita said
After the school both of them reached the playground and everyone was there too after they came the match started and as expected both of them played like professional and this time Nobita didn't miss a single catch not just that he even took the catches which no one expected to be a catch and at batting he didn't miss a single ball and at the last ball after which they will win nobita hit the ball with enough strength that the ball blew up
After the match both the boys just gone without any type of celebration of victory
"Now I think we are wrong he is not Nobita"Gian said
"I think you are right gian"Suneo said
"But it's not confirmed yet"Shizuka said
"Guys did something happened in my absence your match was over too early today did the team was too weak and why are saying you are mistaken about Nobita"Akane asked many questions
"No the team was the strongest team in our area but those two are just something else it wasn't looking like we are playing with the strongest team of our are but mere kids in front of those two I thought even though there is a chance that Nobita changed himself by becoming strong and intelligent but I am pretty sure that he lacks the skills to play baseball and no matter how hard he try this won't change but it changed"Gian said
"Yeah it was looking like a one sided match but still I think he tried his best and trained himself to play baseball as well just like becoming strong and intelligent"Shizuka said
"But how Shizuka like Nobita was the person who was not good at anything after seeing him I doubted the statement that everyone has their unique talent he was that imperfect but this guy is complete opposite he made me doubt the statement that no one is perfect he is that perfect good in everything for example he was smarter than Dekisugi, stronger than gian and better than both of them in sports"Suneo said
"I know but we can't just give up"Akane said
But in this talking there is someone who was just listening to them
"Hey kotaro why are you so shut today"Shizuka asked
"It's nothing don't worry"Kotaro said
"Ok"Shizuka said and all of them talk like this for a while and kotaro just listened
After this he told everything he heard to Nobita and Takumo
"My plan worked I guess"Takumo said
"Yes it does atleast two of them have started to think I am not Nobita"Nobita said
"You are not the same Nobita if you ask me too"Takumo mumbled
"Did you say something"Nobita asked
"Just ignore it let's now think about Shizuka the only person who is not ready to accept you aren't Nobita"Takumo said
"Yeah I know"Nobita said
These two talked like this for a while
