Chapter 49: You Belong to the Petrovs and Me!

Adeline's hips swayed from left to right as she danced through the hallway toward her bedroom, barefoot. A huge smile was on her face, her eyes crinkling along with it.

Anyone who saw her could tell she was still a bit tipsy.

With her heels in hand, she twirled in front of the door, pushing it open. Her hair bounced along with her movement, and she slammed the door shut, drawing in a long, deep breath.

"Today is the best day ever! WHOO!!" she wheezed, throwing her heels away on the floor. She hopped and jumped into the bed on her back, her arms spread out and her gaze fixed on the ceiling.

Her smile stretched from ear to ear, once again thinking back to what happened at the auction. It still felt so unreal, almost like it'd only happened in her dream. Never did she think she would ever get to see the almighty Mr. Petrov in such a disgraceful, humiliating situation.
