Chapter 7: Chapter 7 Double the power
Anna had to go back home before the curfew. She didn't want her mother to scold her for being out too late. She wanted to avoid any trouble so she could come to his house more often in the future.
She looked at Kyoutarou, who was now walking with her to the bus station.
He was really cute and dependable. But unfortunately, he didn't know much about women's hearts.
'How can he be so smart yet stupid at the same time?'
She didn't know that he had had a problem with his self-esteem since he was young because of his father's death.
His mother and sister could not protect him from the bully, as they also had their problems, and he didn't want to be a burden to them.
He neither had the power nor the courage to fight back because he knew it would just make it into a bigger problem, so all he could do was hide in order to survive the kid who was going to grow up and become a villain someday.
They reached the bus station in no time, and Anna still hadn't had enough of him, but she had to go.
"Um, goodbye for now," she said with a hint of sadness in her voice.
"We will meet again. Why are you so sad about Yamada?"
Kyoutarou was confused as to why she became sad all of a sudden. It wasn't like they were not going to see each other again.
"I know, but I have something to ask of you. Is that okay?"
Kyoutarou thought about it and nodded.
"Can I call you your first name? And can you call me by my first name too? I think we knew each other well enough to be on a first-name basis."
Anna asked shyly, hoping for a positive response from Kyoutarou.
Kyoutarou was stunted for a moment. No one had ever asked him that before. The only people who called him by his first name were his mother and sister.
He hesitated for a moment before finally nodding and saying.
"Sure, you can call me Kyoutarou."
"And you can call me Anna!"
Anna spoke with enthusiasm and a wide smile. The first step towards building a strong relationship was taken.
Now, when they went to UA together, they would call each other by their first names. Their new friends would think that they were close friends, and it might develop into something else in the future.
The bus had arrived, and it was time for Anna to go.
"See you at school, Kyo!"
Anna called out, waving goodbye. Kyoutarou waved back. He still didn't get over the fact that they called each other by first names. And she just gave him a pet name!
"S-See you."
Kyoutarou waited until the bus had gone out of sight before turning to walk home. His heart was still beating hard. He had to calm down before he could face her again in the future.

Kyoutarou reached home and went toward his room.
He sat on his bed and sighed. He would forget about Yamada Anna first and see what he should do to prepare for the world mission.
"Now, I have watched Guilty Crown a little bit. I know what to do from there. Next, I should use the ticket to upgrade my power. So, I can be prepared for anything that comes my way."
Kyoutarou brought out the D-rank skill upgrade ticket out of inventory by thought. He examined it carefully, wondering how much it would enhance his abilities.

He had a plan to take his training to a whole new level.
Kyoutarou started to plan his exercises and set goals for himself. He needed to lift up his physical strength and endurance to match his mental powers.
Balance and coordination were crucial aspects that he would focus on improving as well.
