Chapter 8: Chapter 8: The Uchiha Filled With Love.
'They think I killed Shisui....now they're watching me closely and carefully.'
"What were the jutsu's handsigns?" I keep staring into his obsidian eyes.
"Snake-Ram-Monkey-Boar-Horse-Tiger."
"...Okay!" 'At least I have Sasuke. Kiro doesn't seem to be doing well. He's getting less and less active.'
"Do you know where Sakura went?" He's been pouting about that for so long.
"She's just out training." This is the answer Kiro gave me. 'What has he done to her? If I do ever find her. I'll need answers.'
Sasuke leaves and I'm left alone on the bench. 'It's been a while since Shisui died and though he said to make my path.'
"I don't know where my path begins."
I'm now alone.
"Itachi!" I look to see Izumi running to me. 'Probably going to ask me why I left the previous meeting.'
I'm not quite alone.
I head inside the house to sleep.
The next day.....
'The usual mistrust. The Hokage is getting extremely nervous. I can tell when I see him.'
I'm outside near the Hokage Monument. Until someone unexpected arrived.
'DANZO!'
I use the body flicker jutsu and activate my Sharingan to three tomoe. 'Do I activate Mangekyou?'
"Itachi. You're clearly not thinking properly, so I'll give you a moment." I stare at him with cold eyes until I finally understand what he's saying.
'Danzo is a village elder and has ties to the Hokage. He might have informed someone he would meet me. So, if he died, the culprit would be obvious.'
'Not to mention.' I look at his calm face, exuding confidence.
'If Danzo died, part of the village would be thrown in disarray. For the village, I can not kill him.' My expression returns to neutral.
"I'm sure, just as I have, you know the Uchiha rebellion is currently unstoppable. No matter what, the coup will happen."
'I know I failed my mission. Why is he here? Now I see.' It didn't take too much to put the pieces together.
"The village will be forced to fight back and exterminate the Uchiha." He spat that last part out, as if we were pests.
"I'm here to give you an ultimatum." Here it comes.
"Join your clan and die. Assist in the Extermination of your clan and your brother can live."
'The Jounins, Hokage, other clans. I can't even entertain the idea of us winning.'
"What will it be?" ...
"I exist for two reasons." Danzo scoffed in response. I body flicker away.

"Hmmm. Itach Uchiha."
"Who are you?"
'I've never seen this person before.' I look at the masked man in front of me. Luscious trees surrounded us. The birds chirped loudly.
"I.....am Madara Uchiha. I know all about your 'heroic' adventures." His voice is deep, calm.
I don't respond.
"I'm willing to assist you."
"The reason is beacuse you hate our Clan. For turning their back on you." He doesn't respond. So, I continue to stare at his orange and black striped mask.
"The police force will be my target. And I will kill those you can't kill." He walks past me. "You have ten minutes." He fades into the distance.
I'm silent all alone in the forest. I turn around and leave, but out of the corner of my eye, I notice something looking like a grave stone.
I ignore it.

'12 seconds left.' I spent all of the ten minutes just looking at the Uchiha compound. My eyes turn to look above.
The sky is pitch-black.
"Humans can always be represented by nature." I put my ANBU mask on.
And so, the screams began.
The civilians were easy to kill. The recations I expected were the same. Just kill for the village.
Kill for the village.
Ruin your life for the village.
Steal for the village.
'This was the best route possible.'
Adding on to what Danzo said before. 'Other villages will attack if a civil war happens. Konha will become less sustainable. The will of fire may burn out.' I don't allow myself to show a shred of emotion.
All for the village.
Now...
I silently enter my father's room. I can see no one. I move further only to see mother and father sitting on their knees.
"We don't hate your decision. You always were a kind child." His voice is calm. Soothing.
My blade starts to shake. My mother speaks next.
"Remember to take care of Sasuke." I can tell she's smiling. My face feels wet.
"I'll do my best." And with those words.

I mindlessly walk out.
"Itachi! Why are you covered in blood!" Izumi runs to my side and wipes off my tears. I look into her eyes.
She falls on my arms.
"No wars would exist. Our aunties, parents and all our family would live happily. Life is perfect." I take another shaking breath.
"I would join you on missions. You would become a genin, chunin then jonin. We would both....go out on d-dates." It's harder.
"I would propose."
A deep breath.
"We would grow old together, have children."
"They would become strong. And you would be so, so proud of them. Even more.....time would pass."
"And on top of a hill. I would hold your hand. We would stare at each other."
Deep breath. Keep breathing.
"We would both say goodbye. Then- then
I can't continue.
I shut my eyes tightly.
Yet, something would appear in my vision.
I would see...
Izumi.
"It's okay, Itachi." She would then walk away but flash me a warm-hearted smile first.
Leaving me behind.
Leaving me alone.
"I....
I had to say it.
"I love you."
I silently pray for her spirit.

I stand amongst my parents corpses.
Waiting.
"Hello?" Sasuke's voice sounds weak and feeble. The door slides open. A gasp is heard.
I stare coldly at Sasuke with my eyes.
"Big... brother...? Did you do this?" His eyes are shaking just as much as my heart.
"Yes. I did all of this."
"W-why? You're lying!"
"I'm not. Only you can become a worthy opponent and unlock the Mangekyou Sharingan." Sasuke's face wilts.
"However, only on one condition. You must kill the one closest to you. Just like I have."
"You mean...you killed Shisui!" He's crying even more.
"Yes. All to obtain these eyes. If you manage to do it, you will be the third person to obtain the Mangekyou Sharingan."
I move backwards. Sasuke flinches.
"At present, you aren't worth killing. When you have achieved these eyes. When you have achieved strength.....
COME AND STAND BEFORE ME!"
I active the Mangekyou Sharingan, Sasuke goes limp and falls to the ground.
I leave. Yet...
'My job isn't completely finished.'
I wait for a few moments until I sense people entering.
I body flicker there and appear before Danzo. My eyes shocked him.
"If you fail to complete your promise." I walk closer to him.
"I'll show you the true might of our Clan!"
No further words were needed.
