Honkai Energy is present everywhere on the planet, Uesugi's materialization of weapons is conducted through external manipulation of the surroundings using his Honkai Energy as a catalyst
Trembles appeared below the feet of the assailant causing his expression to change. A spike rose from the ground, almost piercing his legs
The standby figure moved to distract Uesugi who condensed a large amount of Honkai Energy to form a cage around the figure near Bronya
Her charging cannons fired towards the cage, causing the countenance of the man to change drastically

The construct and land were blown to smithereens as the other figure started to exchange blows with Uesugi
While they didn't exchange words, the enemy's eyes revealed anger as he fiercely attacked using the concept of 'Attack is the best Defence'
Both sides used gauntlets and Uesugi proved to have more stats than the other but lacked combat techniques and experience
They had each other's weakness which caused a stalemate to happen with none surpassing the other
Meanwhile, on Bronya's end, the smoke gradually cleared revealing a crater and a burnt figure coming out of the hole
The explosion destroyed his mask as a handsome young man stood up coughing blood with burnt marks all over him
With a cold look, he glared daggers at Uesugi's back before facing Bronya with killing intent
The enemies have not let out words except for the woman warning them. Their silence revealed strict discipline which doesn't correspond to any other major organisations in Honkai Impact 3rd
While Schicksal had its dark side and Anti-Entropy had a radical faction, they were more 'humane' and would act secretly or honorably
Uesugi thought, letting his guard down when the opponent immediately struck his vital points three times
Without flustering, Uesugi didn't move as he materialized blocks to block the attack momentarily before it broke, but it allowed him to dodge in time
Knocking each other back, they both began to observe and glanced at the other side's battle
A smile appeared on the white figure's face while Uesugi looked grim
Bronya's situation wasn't looking good as her foe happened to be her nemesis, a high-speed assassin. There were scratches all over her and she was short on breath. Throughout the journey, Bronya suffered from a lack of stamina as her physical stats can't handle long intensive battles
Her disproportionate stats will soon be fixed, but now is not the time.
Looking at the petite figure fighting vigorously, Uesugi gritted his teeth as he made his decision.
Leaping towards Bronya's opponent, he summoned multiple fists mid-air to attack him. However, his opponent didn't let this chance slip as he flashed behind Uesugi and attacked him
Surprisingly, Uesugi didn't defend himself, withstanding the attack with his bare body. Blood splurted but it only delayed his movements.
Uesugi Shuu's stats allow him to have high-speed regeneration with the increment of the DUR stat.
The burnt figure bore front to the surprise attack as he tried to dodge incoming fists. As an assassin, his nature was more elusive and movements left afterimages, leaving the materialized fists useless
Sneering at the attempt, he turned to look at his partner when he saw an astonishing scene.
Lying on the ground, groaning helplessly as smoke rose from his body, the white-clothed figure tried to warn his partner to retreat.
In that short time, Uesugi used [Lightning's Child] to finish his opponent while Bronya's bullets blocked his movement
Uesugi Shuu and Bronya Zaychik didn't plan on leaving any loose ends. They pincered the burnt figure who was hesitating as he tried to defend against Uesugi's attacks and Bronya's support
Eventually, the enemies lay on the ground defeated. Uesugi panted slightly while Bronya was beginning to faint again.
They just had a large fight against the zombies and including this fight, it's been over an hour since they began fighting
*Clap* *Clap*
Three other figures wrapped in white tights appeared near their comrades. Besides the leading figure, the other two glared at Uesugi and Bronya but they quickly tried to heal their companions
The female leader stepped up as she glanced past Bronya and looked at Uesugi with interest. She opened her mouth and said, "You both have skills, why don't you join us, Chernobog".
An invitation was extended to both of them, Bronya remained indifferent while Uesugi thought, 'Chernobog? So is there a Belobog'
Before they could reply, the woman raised her palm and said, "Forget it, young people have arrogance, so first I'll curb that before we talk". Without warning, she disappeared from her position
Wariness appeared on Uesugi's face as he couldn't detect a trace of her presence. This was shocking to him who had a high level of INT stat, he was unsure as to what to do when the impact came
Two sharp stings whipped the air as Uesugi and Bronya were blown back.
It took a few seconds until they stopped flying. Horror crossed Uesugi's face as he realized the opponent's strength. Currently, he would need to perfect the Sphere of Control before even having a chance against her
His thoughts paused as he saw a rain of snakes covering the sky.
'No, they aren't snakes...' They were materialization of the woman's Honkai Energy as her whip left no gaps of escape
Uesugi Shuu suffered greatly as he continuously relied on Weapon Creation to add more to his defense as his arms blocked his vital points
Nevertheless, the pain was too extreme causing him to yell and anger consumed his body.
'Roar', an inhumane scream, and a Honkai Energy eruption burst, repelling the snakes as they hissed before dissipating.
There weren't any follow-up attacks as the woman stared at Uesugi in surprise
She was clear about her special move and her previous observation of Uesugi showed that he shouldn't be able to survive the attack
She initially planned on halting her attack and bringing back a Uesugi 'half dead' so their people could heal him.
The interest on her face became more apparent as she resumed her attack on the heavily panting Uesugi.
Just when she was about to reach him, a black hole formed with her at the center. The woman felt a strong attractive force pulling her back as she twisted her head to look behind her
It was Bronya using her Battlesuit, Valkyrie Chariot's 'Ultimate'. However, its expenditure was overwhelming as sweat began forming on her face, she also couldn't move nor attack while performing it
While the leader struggled to escape, Uesugi's eyes glittered at the opportunity, and gritted his teeth.
*Stretch* *Crack*
His bones, muscles, and nerves were taut as he unleashed every potential within his body. He didn't reserve his stamina reserves as he planned on finishing it in one blow
Uesugi shouted at Bronya, "Let the black hole attract me on my signal". She immediately got the idea and nodded
Refocusing on himself, Uesugi closed his eyes as he re-entered his mental space. Visualizing a pond of mental energy, he saw numerous amounts of ripples appearing on it
It was a sign of disturbance and fatigue affecting his spirit.
Without further delay, he did some karate breathing and sought inner peace. Uesugi's full-blown attack can still be blocked despite the woman not having a stable stance
He confirmed that her strength did not exceed pseudo-S-Rank, otherwise, their only option was to retreat into the zombie horde and seek the humanoid figure's help
A normal all-out attack wouldn't suffice. It's like Bronya charging her cannon to unleash her full power. He needed an attack 'Ultimate' that can be used as a trump card, a finishing blow to say
Regardless of being a Chuunibyou or a regular douchebag, people would imagine having special powers, especially men
Uesugi's arsenal was limited to his Battlesuit functions, stats, and talents. His first step was to use [Focus] to align his mental powers with the his body. Adding his fist and legs with lightning through [Lightning's Child] to boost his speed and attack
Then he used Weapon Creation, he didn't create this time as it was used to reinforce. His gauntlets, CAS-X Saints shined as 'veins' flowed through its materials
The mental energy pond gradually began to calm down. As the ripples decreased to a single drop, he timed himself for the right moment.
Outside, Bronya's exhaustion was beginning to tear her body, but she didn't stop generating the black hole as he saw the changes on Uesugi's body
'If you don't defeat her, Bronya will curse you forever'. She thought while the leader calmed down as she thought it was a real black hole enveloping her
She witnessed Uesugi's change but remained still. This was her pride as a peak A-Rank figure, a brat years away from her couldn't hurt her unless she wanted to
Suddenly, Uesugi's eyes slowly opened, revealing a pair of dead fish eyes that pierced through the enemy's casualness.
A change in countenance appeared on her as she quickly deployed her defenses, ranging from whip techniques to utilizing Honkai Energy
However, it was too late as Uesugi's figure disappeared with a boom. Leaving behind a hole in the ground
Instantly appearing before the leader, he punched silently.
Unlike the explosive step, his fist, his presence, his existence seemed to have blended with space. It was like using Time Slow but only he existed
WIth eyes widely open, the leader's eyes were filled with incredulity as she was blown into a shooting star that landed in many mountains to count
