Chapter 3: Chapter 3: The System Begged me For Help

It's been 1 week since the so-called immortal showed up.
"For the millionth time, I don't want to be your apprentice." Li Ye said.
"Why don't you give up and go to someone who wants to be your apprentice." Li Ye said while continuously signing.
"Fine, I have been trying to help you for so long but you don't know what you're losing," Aria said with a sigh.
'Now I have no choice but to devour your soul and find a new soul. I don't want to lose a soul as precious as yours but I can waste my time on you.' Aria thought.
"That's great. If you need any help you c-" Li Ye stopped speaking.
Aria wanted to devour Li Ye's soul but she couldn't find his soul.
'Where is his soul, why can't I find it?' Aria thought confused.
As she was about to think about what was wrong, she saw that everything around her was gone and she was in a dark space.
"Where am I and what's goi-" Just as she was about to finish her sentence a voice was heard.
"Who are you and why are you searching my soul." said the voice without any emotion.
She saw a man with short black hair and eyes. Wearing a simple white shirt and black pants.
She looked at the man who was looking at her with piercing eyes which were as deep as the abyss.
She thought who is this man who has the aura of a being who has seen and knows everything?
After coming out of the trance, Aria asked "Who are you?"
Aria then saw Li Ye sitting on a throne looking at her with cold eyes.
"You think you can do anything just because you are immortal." Li Ye said with an emotionless face.
"What are you saying?" Aria asked.
"Why are you trying to search my soul space?" Li Ye asked.
"I was trying to separate my soul from your body without harming your soul. A body can't host two separate souls you know." Aria said immediately.
"You think I am a fool just because I am acting like some loser." Li Ye said while smiling.
"You think I don't know you're trying to devour my soul huh." Li Ye said without any hint of emotion.
After Li Ye finished speaking Aria felt a pressure on her soul so strong that it couldn't even compare to when she was facing the 3 'Supreme GODS'.
It's just like what she felt from 'God of Chaos' Chaosar.
'No. The pressure I felt from Chaosar wasn't anything near what I am facing now.'
'What is he?' Aria thought.
"What do you mean" she said while shaking with fear.
"You want to devour my soul, too bad now I will devour you." Li Ye said while staring at her with cold eyes.
Aria began to feel her soul being devoured and started to panic.
She panicky said, "Wait, stop what are you doing?"
"You think only you can devour other people's souls then you're wrong." Li Ye said.
"Please stop," Aria said while her soul was fading.
"Why didn't you want to make me strong." Li Ye said.
Li Ye looked at Aria and stopped devouring her soul.
Li Ye asked "I know you are not some immortal. So tell me who you are or I will devour your soul."
Aria told him everything from the beginning.
"So you are one of the 'Suprem GODS' and 3 of them killed you while the strongest of you 'Suprem GODS' is not around. You want to kill the 3 of them so you created a game-like system called the supreme system which helps you recover your strength while helping the so-called protagonist of the world fulfilling their destiny."
Aria nodded her head.
Li Ye asked, "Why did the 3 'Supreme GODS' want to kill you?."
Aria said, "I am the Goddess of Creation, Beauty and life."
Li Ye asked "Why do you have more than one title? Doesn't every God have only 1 title?"
"No. Many Gods or Goddesses have more than one title. It means they are more powerful than those who have fewer titles than them. So if you have more titles you have more believers and you can gain more faith from them becoming stronger." Aria said.
"But why did the other gods kill you?" Li Ye asked.
She said, "They wanted my creation authority to create something to kill or seal the God of Chaos, so they can rule over the omniverse."
Li Ye asked, "How many worlds are there in the omniverse."
"There are infinite numbers of multiverse, universe, world and realities in the omniverse and every multiverse, universe, world's have ranks which are lowest, low, middle, high and highest. The world we are currently in is located in the lowest class universe of the lowest multiverse. This world is a middle-class world." Aria replied.
Aria then asked, "Why is your soul more powerful than a God's and why aren't you shocked knowing I am a god?."
Li Ye said "I have the memories of my past life so I know most of the things you said also I am a singular being."(Singular being means there can only be one of you in the entire omniverse)
"How come you a mortal remember about your previous lives shouldn't you forget about them when you went through the life and death cycle and how can you be a singular being without being a Transcended God," Aria asked with confusion written all over her face.
"On my 358th life in a world where you can use magic, I was a Sage and the strongest being in that world who could destroy everything even the world itself. I was able to know about singular beings from the people who sometimes get summoned into that world, so I researched about it and found out that a person's soul is divided into many pieces. That's why there are many versions of the same people in different words, universe, multiverse and realities. So I who was the strongest being in the world decided to merge all my soul so that I could travel to other worlds. I began to search for my soul pieces and create a way to merge them. After 3000 years I created magic to merge my souls and to locate my other soul pieces but I needed at at least one of my other soul pieces because my soul wasn't strong enough to endure dimensional travelling. So I thought of going to the realm of life and death where I could find my soul pieces. After that, I engraved a magic to my soul so even if I die I won't lose my memory. After dying my soul was taken to the realm of life and death of that universe and I found two of my soul pieces there. I merged with the two pieces and felt like I got something that I lost but the God of that universe found it and tried to destroy my soul after merging with two of my soul pieces my soul was strong enough to travel between different universes. So I made a portal to a different world where my other soul pieces were. I repeated this process until I became a singular being."
Aria was so shocked hearing this that she couldn't even think about anything to say.
"Now let me take the system from you." Li Ye said.
Before she could even ask what he meant she felt her soul being separated from the supreme system.
After the supreme system got separated from her soul Li Ye merged it with hi's soul.
Then both Li Ye and Aria heard a notification in their head.
[New host detected]
[Suprem system has merged with the new host]
[Detected that the host's soul is more powerful than the supreme system]
[Suprem system is taking some of the host's soul power to upgrade the system to match the host's power]
[Suprem system has been successfully upgraded]
[Suprem system can now devour and gain the power of different systems through the omniverse]
[If the host gets more systems then the supreme system can merge with the other system Increasing the system functions. The system can evolve to an omniversal system which is equal to the Omniversal God and help the host become the Omniversal God]
"Hmm.. interesting" Li Ye said with a smile.
"What is this" baffled Aria asked after hearing the system notification.
"I guess I don't need you anymore, so let me devour your soul."
Aria quickly said "No don't"
"I got the system so what do I need you for?" Li Ye asked.
Aria then went to her knees and begged Li Ye "Please I will do anything don't kill me"
Li Ye then said "You told me you wanted to kill the 3 'Supreme GODS' right"
"Yes," Aria said meekly.
"I will help you become the Omniversal God and kill the rest of the supreme gods." Li Ye said smiling.
Aria was dumbfounded after hearing this.
"Why" She asked.
"Because when I merged all my soul pieces I also got the memories about how my soul pieces lived but I don't want just remember their memories I want to experience it in this life also I want to read manga and watch anime" Li Ye said.
"So why do you want to help me become the omniversal god can't you just become the omniversal god and do everything you want?" Aria asked confused.
Aria couldn't understand him a few moments ago he wanted to kill her now he wanted to help her with her revenge.
"I am helping you so I can experience the story of a man who is helping a goddess recover her power for her revenge. So he travelled to many worlds and went from weak to strong to help his precious goddess and after helping the goddess with her revenge as the man was about to leave the goddess told the man that she saw how he struggled but he didn't give up to fulfil his promise to her. His determination to help her made her realize that the time they spent together was very precious to her and she didn't know when she fell in love with him. She told him that she didn't need anything beside him so they both ruled the omniverse."
"Well not the fell in love part you know what I mean" Li Ye said.
"What so you are helping me because you want to know what it will feel like when a mortal helps a goddess get her revenge," Aria asked.
"Yeah that sums it up and the title of the story will be
'The System Begged Me For Help'
