Chapter 70: The Answer
Light Association Base.
Rafael walked towards the rooms where people related to the new, unknown-looking, dark entity were located.
"Sir, we investigated the report about a teenager named Elizabeth. We found out that her parents were killed by a dark entity, but there's nothing to confirm her younger sister," the agent quickly reported.
"What?" Rafael stopped abruptly. His imagination began to soar, remembering when Elizabeth was controlled by the dark entity.
"She's been controlled from the beginning." With this in mind, Rafael quickly ordered, "Send agents to Elizabeth's room; she must be isolated completely. She might be under the control of a dark entity." Rafael said, "If that girl resists, they can shoot her."
"Yes, sir." The agent ran towards Elizabeth's room.
Just as Rafael was about to do the same, he received an emergency call. "Sir, this is very serious; the Guardian is receiving a lot of damage to his body."
"I'm on my way." Rafael frowned and hurried to Anton's room.
In the mind of the dark entity.
Inside the psychiatric hospital.
Anton's face was filled with confusion. This expression made the yellowish doll's smile twist with pleasure.
"Are you surprised? Aren't you?" "My words were very clear, and I gave you many clues, but you never wanted to believe what I told you. Little Sara is a part of my body; no, she completely controls my intentions."
The smiling doll took Sara's small hand. The torture power had already reached level eight; Anton's body began, and muscles, tissues, and nerves were being destroyed.
However, Anton didn't scream in pain, nor had he begged for his life. This was something the smiling doll had never seen before!
Taking matters into its own hands, the smiling doll angrily walked towards the device, adjusting it to level nine. The electricity became stronger, and crackling sounds filled the room.
Anton also felt a change; his body was constantly numb, his slightly blurred vision tinted red, and an energy or current within his body began to move frantically.
Under intense pain, the blood in Anton's body began to move. His brain screamed at him to act, exerting force on the restraints on his hands and legs. Anton was slowly losing his sanity.
"You are the dark entity... I must eliminate it; you will have to die, Sara." Anton muttered in a hoarse voice. Suddenly, Anton's strength increased greatly; the restraints on his hands began to creak, and the light's energy started protecting his vital organs.
Instantaneously, Anton felt an unprecedented force. His entire aching body began to feel pleasure from the electricity coursing through him. Anton looked at Sara with a euphoric smile. The blood flowing from his body and mouth began to stop.
Gradually, Anton felt that hidden force in his body again. If compared to a mere adrenaline rush, he could swear it was ten times stronger.
With electricity torturing his body, Anton felt that he was slowly becoming stronger and stronger, as if every cell in his body was affected by an immense power increase.
"You're also a monster; you're not human at all. I'll have to kill you quickly." Anton said it with a deep voice. His eyes turned completely black, and his hollow and empty smile twisted alarmingly.
Seeing this, Sara smiled with joy. She knew that deep in his mind, he had completely lost composure; his actions and tastes were out of place.
The electricity still flowing through his body seemed to invigorate him, as if he had found a source of pleasure. These electric arcs constantly accumulated, converging into an even stronger power in Anton's body.
As his strength increased, the corners of Anton's mouth curved slightly as he revealed a smug smile. He felt the pleasure of becoming stronger; he knew his cells were evolving, and his internal organs were constantly hardening under the protection of the light and the stimulation of electricity.
Boom!
One restraint on Anton's body broke instantly, freeing his right hand. Immediately, Anton removed a nail that was piercing his left shoulder and quickly thrust it into the smiling doll's body.
The strong impact and the wound were reflected in Anton's body, but it wasn't enough to stop his hands.
Boom!
The ropes of his body instantly broke, and under the explosion of electricity, the doctors turned to dust.
Anton stood up from the bed and stood in the room while faint electric arcs moved across his body. His entire burnt body didn't stop him at all; his open wounds quickly healed.
"I must say I was deceived by such a weak, dark entity; what a waste of time." Anton looked at the panicking doll, now no longer condescending. Instead, it was terrified and couldn't help but retreat into the corner of the room.
"Die!" Anton murmured softly in an emotionless voice.
At an inhuman speed, Anton suddenly appeared next to the smiling doll and tore off its arm. Although the damage was reflected, Anton destroyed the smiling doll's body. His wounds at that moment healed at an impressive speed; his entire body entered a frenzy of madness and satisfaction.
When the smiling doll's body was shattered, Anton stood silently and waited for his wounds to heal.
"It's your turn..." Anton turned around and looked at the girl, named Sara, with a smile.
"Sir... What is this place? He's injured; we need to get out of here quickly." Sara's voice returned to normal, and her eyes, once dark, returned to their natural color.
"This is boring; I'll take care of it." After saying that, Anton quickly punched Sara's chest.
His hand pierced her chest, and he lifted her face to get a better look. "This is where it ends."
"How...?"
There was a crunch, and a smell of rotten blood emanated from Sara's body. Her body stopped moving and turned into black gas, dissipating into the air.
After seeing that he was left alone in the room, Anton still felt very agitated. However, he knew that everything inside him had changed.
Meanwhile, around him, the atmosphere was slowly dissipating.

"Sir, what do we do now?" Carmen asked, looking at Rafael, waiting for his response. "Although his injuries are very serious, his healing factor seems to have increased; all his wounds are closed, and we can't place an intravenous as we can't find his veins."
"We can only wait for him to wake up; as his wounds are fine, we can ensure that he deals with the dark entity." Rafael said it lightly. Since he met Anton, he knew he had undergone an experiment that gave him superhuman abilities. The fatal wounds he suffered, with a little time, would have no adverse effects after being healed. But now everything is different; the speed at which the wounds are healed is incomparable to what it was before.
"Something changed within Anton," Rafael thought to himself.
At that moment, Anton woke up.
