Chapter 17: Chapter 17, What on earth‽
" Stop making up excuses, The fact that I am a black card has nothing to do with it, Your real reason here is cause you failed to ascertain my capabilities and resourcefulness..." Chinonso let out a breath, though he didn't show it he was relived to have finally put an end to such a troublesome fellow.
" Next time maybe try to factor in every possible outcome...., No wait" Chinonso stopped, he placed his left pincer on his jaw to ponder a bit.
"On second thought remove unconventional lucky outcomes, I want a normal analysis of how things would play out instead, Luck would only make things complicated" he told the system assistant after carefully contemplating.

" Good, Now that's what I like to hear" he smiled happily before turning his attention towards the remaining beasts.
" Now that am done with that hassle..., Where were we" His cold voice was heard once again by all of them.
With terror stricken expressions each of them took a few steps back, other's tripped due to their trembling limbs while some of them out right peed themselves.
The Amount of NP he was currently receiving would be nothing short of a flowing river.
" Oh don't worry, I promise I'll make it quick and painless since you managed to survive till now ok^^" Chinonso reassured the frightened beasts with a calm and companionate tone.
Though some of them couldn't understand human tongue, The growing killing intent that he was trying to mask was all they needed to understand what he meant.
And with that, a multitude of shrill cries were heard within the once quite forest once more.

Meanwhile as he continued with his slaughter, The battle hungry scorpion was unaware of a pair of stalking eye's that hid behind a tree a few meter's away from the battlefield.
Behind the tree, a feminine figure slouched back against the tree sitting on the bare ground with signs of perspiration all over her body, her fair smooth hands trembling with fear.
" How could a new monster emerge all of a sudden and one never before seen at that...."Her face looked as if she was struggling with a difficult decision.
" His really terrifying and cruel.....though he did still save me..." She said with a shaking voice, The terror she witnessed was still etched within her mind, no matter how much she tried to see him as a kind saviour, His cruel and vicious actions made her feel skeptical.
" Ahh....I'll just tell father first and see what he decides to do...." After a short while the female silhouette got to her feet as if she'd finally come to a decision before fleeing at her fastest speed.
For a lady her speed sure was fast, one could only wonder if that was her actual speed or maybe because she didn't dare to remain here for much longer.

In just a few moments no living creature was left alive, Every single one of them were now nothing but corpse's or a mesh of flesh and blood.
Chinonso who was now done with his brutal slaughter felt a sense of satisfaction, not wasting anytime, The black scorpion grabbed ahold of a wolf carcass with his two pincers.
His two hands trembled with expectation and curiosity as he stared at the fresh meat in his grasp wonderingly just how such a bloody thing would taste.
" Well....it's now or never " He steeled his nerves then bit down on the blood stained flesh.
".....!" His eyeballs widened in shock to the extreme as if they'd pop out at any moment the instant he took a bite.
' Oh my god!!!!, This is!'
" Simply delicious!!!" The bird's in the surrounding trees flew away in panic when he screamed at the top of his lungs with excitement like a child who had tasted sugar for the first time.
' This aromatic smell that comes with each bite, The smooth yet succulent texture, by the god's, it's becoming more fragrant with each bite!'
' In all my years of living never before have I tasted such a magnificent delicacy before!!!'
" More!, I want more!!" He said with his mouth full when he bit down on the carcass once more, swallowing a huge mouthful with haste yet no matter how many bites he took the tongue tingling sensation was always there!.
With big bites while swallowing in big mouthfuls, the wolf carcass in front of him was devoured in the blink of an eye!.
Like a fleeting specter he rushed to the next corpse before begining his carnage nevertheless he still wasn't satisfied even after devouring the next one, The delectable taste was just to good!.
If he finished one corpse he would quickly rush to the next without hesitation, in only a few moments he had devoured over ten beast corpse's yet he still wasn't full, instead he continued on with his victory feast.
Anyone who happened to walk past the area would feel their spines shiver abruptly because only the eerie sounds of flesh and bones being bitten and crunched were continuously heard.
From the looks of it Chinonso wasn't to far off from becoming a full on monster at this rate.

A few moments later.
**Buuurrrrpppp-!**
The black scorpion belched on eating his full, in that brief time span a total of over 20 wolf and wild dogs corpse's were easily devoured.
" That was the most satisfying meal I've ever had..." Chinonso gave a comical smile, his body lay'd leisurely on the ground without a care in the world.
if his eyes could role right now, They would've gone all the way backwards right now from the satisfaction he was feeling.
