Chapter 2: 2: Crazed Farmers.

His eyes instantly widened as he prayed against the unavoidable truth of the voice he just heard and it was that made his blood begin to boil intensely but despite all that he tried to be cool and play out of his disadvantage.

" If you release her I promise I'll see to it that no one ever disturbs you again no matter what it is that you do in the village. You want to live a life better than this one right? Well, I have enough money to pay for your transport to the next closest town!" He bargained with his teeth gritting hardly against each other.

" Haha, you know what they say "The bigger the meat the harder it is to get" It's not always that you find beauty as good as this out in the forest without guards protecting and her body is one of the finest I have ever seen. You can't expect to let go of this fine catch without at least having even the slightest taste of it. But I don't plan on my taste being slight in the slightest, I will devour every inch of her until there's nothing left and if you try to stand in our way then I can only guarantee your most certain death."

" He sounds quite educated for a mere villager from the outskirts of the land, he surely isn't from Gaal." Sina thought as he slowly slipped his right hand into his pocket.

" That's right, you heard him, didn't you? We don't plan on living in this pitiful village anytime soon but we might as well take that money from you."

The two crazed farmers were currently inside the hut and one of them who was standing next to the kidnapped lady was shirtless. His eyes were filled with pleasure and anticipation as he slowly reached for her shoulder while the other continued to watch standing by the window with a huge smile on his face.

While he continued to watch his partner try to tear off the lady's dress, he felt a stirring around his abdomen and looked down at it to see that a blade had pierced straight into it.

" Bingo," Sina mumbled, holding a blade hilt but it didn't have any blade attached to it.

The crazed farmer screamed in pain as he fell straight to the ground. His companion quickly diverted his attention towards him with a now annoyed look on his face and the first thing he saw was the hiltless blade that was attached to his abdomen.

" Impossible!" He yelled as he quickly got up from the floor.

" How terrible it is that I had only one left." He mumbled as he slowly began to walk forward, "How pitiful, to think that such grown men could be so loud."

The man then proceeded to grab hold of the crossbow that had been left on the window by his partner. His hands continued to tremble as picked up a few bows but just as he was about to fire, a sword was swung down, slicing the crossbow's string off.

He gasped in shock as he quickly staggered backward. His eyes quickly darted around the room and the only thing left that he could do was grab hold of the handicapped girl.

The door to the hut was stomped down and the next thing they saw was Sina standing there with a sword sheathed by his waist and two daggers held firmly in both hands.

" How strange. I was certain that I aimed for his head." He said, his gaze slowly moving toward the man who was lying on the floor.

" Stay back... Any closer and I swear I'll strangle to death." He threatened, his entire body trembling uncontrollably.

Sina slowly raised his two hands with the daggers still held and just when he thought it was all over, he swung down his hand and sent the dagger flying straight towards him.

" Ahhhhh!" He screamed at the top of his lungs just as the dagger pierced straight into his shoulder.

He was forced to let go of the captive and fall to the floor while grunting in pain. Sina began to slowly walk towards him, he wasn't planning on ending things just yet.

He got up quickly after that and pulled out the dagger from his shoulder, he then quickly staggered backward after that in an attempt to get as far away from Sina as he could.

Upon seeing that his current enemy was far too relentless to let him go, he held the dagger as firmly as he could manage and took to the offensive.

He could barely use his left hand and the fact that he had to fight with it was even worse. His attacks were slow and sloppy allowing for Sina to easily dodge every last one of them.

" Just die already you monster." He said as he aimlessly tried to slash at him with the dagger.

Right after he said that, when he went for the next strike, Sina grabbed hold of his hand mid-air and quickly stabbed the dagger he was holding straight into his shoulder.

The man screamed in pain after that and dropped the dagger he was holding as he quickly staggered backward.

" Tell me... Why do you do it?" He asked, slowly walking towards the helpless man, "Why choose to make everyone else suffer?"

" What could my reasons possibly achieve for you? Nothing matters if we're all going to die anyway and yet, these evil villagers decided to chain us all in this slaughterhouse." He said while quickly crawling away from the young man.

" Well, what do you know? The long intertwining of fate and destiny, I guess no one told you that you would be the first in the slaughterhouse to meet your end." He said, slowly unsheathing his sword.

" Sina please stop, they didn't touch me I swear." She cried out in an attempt to calm him down.

" How foolish of me, I forgot she was there." He thought as his gaze quickly shifted towards her, " I know they didn't touch you, just need to make sure they never come close to my dear sister again."

He then proceeded to let go of the sword and slowly walked towards her. Her hands and legs were bound tightly and he could see that they had swelled up badly.

" Now then, try to stay still." He said as he knelt by her side and slowly began to untie the ropes that were tied around her arms and legs.

The area where the ropes were tied had turned red and so sore that even the slightest to it was causing her to groan in pain.

While he was still aiding her, the man slowly got up from the floor and tried to run away but a dagger went piercing straight into his thigh and sent him falling face down to the floor.

His sister who was struggling to stand up was left in shock at what had just happened. She had seen the dagger pierce into the man's thigh but she wasn't able to depict a single sign of her brother's arm moving.

She fell straight into his arms after that. Turned out the damage she had taken was far more severe than she imagined.

" I can't walk for now," she said with a slight chuckle, " I guess we'll have to wait a while longer."

" Time is one thing I'm lacking at the moment." He said as he quickly lifted up the ground, "You're too big to be carried over my shoulders so it's either this or you latch onto my back."

She didn't give any objections to what he said and simply held tightly onto him as he slowly headed towards the village entrance.

" That's not the way to the village. Where are you taking me?" She asked upon seeing that he had taken a detour from his original route.

" Just stay quiet for a second okay, we don't know when one of those wild rats could come charging towards us. I'm heading towards Sava's house to see if I can get some healing potions." He replied with his head held upwards throughout the entire journey.

Not long after that, they arrived at their intended destination and as luck would have it, Sava was at home when they arrived.

" Oh, I see, so she's the one who needs healing this time." He said, turning his gaze towards the girl who was sitting on a wooden bench outside his hut, " I'll give her the appropriate treatment but I need you to do something for me."

Once again he was left embarking on a wild journey for the sake of another but it seemed that this one would be his wildest one yet.

Up ahead he could see a bunch of red mushrooms but there was a very menacing problem he had to deal with. Before him was a black-skinned wolf with red glowing eyes and although it was dusk, he was able to catch glimpses of the black aura emitting from the beast.
