Chapter 11: BOOM!

"Hey, fishman. Are you really going to run away? Is this how the Prince of Atlantis treats a duel?" Yells Isaac after Cat had run off.
Namor looked back at Isaac, staring at him.
"Showing grit in a situation you know to be futile is not bravery, but foolishness. A lesson for you to remember, boy." He says, bolting toward Isaac and appearing before him.
He launches a knee in Isaac's gut as Isaac coughs blood, additionally, Namor follows up by smashing Isaac with both his fists clasped together, sending Isaac plunging toward the sea. Namor once again appears below Isaac unleashing a relentless assault on the boy.
"A little more, Isaac. Just withstand it a little bit more!" Yells Darwin, however, Isaac isn't able to hear. The only thing he could feel was pain. He couldn't fight back as Namor repeatedly pummelled him. He thought the days where he was beaten senseless by a weirdo who appeared out of nowhere were over, yet he found himself in the same situation he loathed himself for succumbing to.

'Finally. I need something, anything to fight back. Super speed, super strength?' He thought.

'...you've gotta be kidding me.'
"Don't judge, Isaac. My ability will never fail you. This is exactly what you need. Now win." Said Darwin.
'Who gives a shit. Who cares if the ability screws me over. This won't end like last time.'
~Present~
Isaac grits his teeth as he ignores the pain in his body and turns his body, landing another blow onto the still recovering Namor's gut, knocking the air out of his lungs as the sea dweller's eyes roll back into his skull.
"Increasing the Gravity acting upon your fists for a second, without it affecting your mobility. Usually, your hand would be crushed between the weight of the gravity and the durable Namor, however, your steel skin not only protects you, but it also makes your punches hit like meteors. You're pretty smart, kid." Admits Darwin.
As Namor tumbles back and Isaac shakes his hand in midair, trying to quickly get rid of the tingling feeling in his hands, Namor quickly recovers, disappearing from his position as he uses his blurring speed to his advantage.
Isaac looks around, keeping his guard up but to no avail. Namor lands a kick on Isaac's face, once again disappearing as Isaac struggles to stay conscious, only to suffer another blow. Isaac retreats into a foetus position and withstands Namor's attacks. Despite this, his eyes as still trying their best to keep up with the enemy.
"There!" He yells, jumping to an open space, only to grab Namor who had appeared by the waist.
"Now Cat!" He yells. Before Namor can attack Isaac who is clung to him, he sees countless Molotovs flying at him, ready to fry him.
He widens his eyes as he uses all his strength to fly away. As he drags Isaac with him toward the sky, dodging the attack, Isaac yells.
"Heavy Gravity x100!"
Before they can fly too far into the sky, Isaac yells, increasing his gravity by 100-fold. This paired with his normal weight was nothing to scoff at.
The two of them were returned to their original position as Namor stared at the bottle right before his face, his eyes widened.
As the countless glass broke, Namor was engulfed in flames, only left to yell as Isaac endured the pain of the flames that were dripping onto him.
"Speedy, run!" Yelled Cat, watching the flames reach Isaac.
"Not yet! Take control of the yacht and sail it back to the docks!" He yells.
"What are you talking about…"
"Hurry!" He adds before she can finish as she reluctantly runs to the control room.
"Water!" Namor yells as he drags Isaac toward the sea at full force, Isaac almost losing his grip. A few Atlanteans appear from the water, ready to grab their prince.
"Heavy Gravity x100."
In a blistering show of speed, Isaac was instantly out of reach, moving faster than he ever had before, zooming to the clouds as the flames of Namor shined through the night like a shooting star, wincing at the strain on his muscles and bones due to the weight.
The ship was nearing the docks as Cat climbed onto the roof, seeing Isaac and Namor ascending into the clouds as Namor's scream echoed through the night.
Isaac grits his teeth as he grins.

"How's it feel losing to a cockroach?!" Yells Isaac as the ground becomes out of sight.

"Boom!"
Meanwhile, Cat stares at the sky as the screams fade away. As a moment of silence falls upon the quiet city, an ear-piercing BOOM is heard as the clouds dissipate and the sky is filled with the orange hue of the fiery explosion, making it seem as if morning had come.
The explosion rang through the city, waking every person as they all stared at the sudden explosion in the sky. The sea far below roared at the sudden force, causing the Atlanteans to stare at the sky, praying their prince hadn't fallen.
Cat stares, dumbfounded as she freezes, unsure of what to do or what to think. What was happening?
As the light of the explosion settled and the city returned to its darkness, Cat stared on, no confirmation on whether or not her partner was alive.
After a few seconds, she witnessed what she first assumed to be a shooting star falling from the sky. But as he neared her, she noticed the human outline of the object.
The human seemed to be chucking another steaming person off his shoulder as he closed.
Soon, it had reached her at great speeds as Isaac could be seen slowing down and soon crashing into the roof of the yacht back first.
Cat ran over to him, noticing the bruises across his face and the overflowing blood as his eyes were closed.
"Speedy, are you alive?" She says, kneeling and checking his pulse
"Yeah, I'm just trying to get some shut-eye." He says, prompting the cat burglar to smile and hug him.
"Ow!" He yells to no avail as Cat hangs on to him.
"You sure are a great partner, Speedy." She says as she tries to carry him on her back, only to find he's extremely heavy.
"Oh sorry, lemme fix that. Light gravity x20." Saying this, she successfully manages to carry him.
"Wow, you're light." She says, jumping off the yacht that had finally reached the docks as it was met with countless police cars.

"This is where we part ways, Cat." Says Isaac after Cat gave him some first aid. He and the female stood on a nearby roof, watching the civilians on the yacht be tended to by doctors and police.
"Yes, sadly. I must say, Speedy, I've enjoyed this team-up more than I thought I would." She says her default sly grin and succubus-like voice returning as she walks closer to Isaac.
"Almost dying and coming out with nothing was enjoyable to you?" Asks Isaac with a chuckle.
"Well, that part I could do without. But I meant us. I met the real you. The selfless 'go out with a boom', psycho Speedy." She says as she finally stands face-to-face with Isaac. Cat pauses for a second, stepping closer and whispering shortly after.
"And I think I like him." She says, walking past Isaac and jumping onto the ledge.
"See you around, Speedy. Oh, and who said I didn't come out with anything?" She said waving a small sack containing the civilian's jewellery and valuable auction items.
"Why am I not surprised?" Isaac said with a chuckle as she finally jumped off the ledge, leaving Isaac to stare.
After a few seconds, Isaac's legs wobbled and soon gave out as he dropped to the ground, releasing a girlish sigh as he went, breathing heavily.
"Holy crap! She was way too close to my face. I can't believe I kept my composure." He says.
"Neither can I. I was almost certain you would fold under pressure." Adds Darwin.
"No, of course I didn't succumb to her charm. My heart belongs to one person, and that's Ms Romanoff." He says, standing back up and dusting himself off.
"Anyway, I can't believe I was able to win that fight. If it weren't for the tip you gave me about the flames and the new ability, I would have been toast."
"It wasn't more the flames than it was the ability to dry the fish out of any moisture. That's where he gets his power. And I keep telling you, trust the ability. It's the best out there." Says Darwin, his voice dripping with arrogance.
"Yeah, Yeah. That explosion was a bit much though. I hope no one noticed." He says, walking to the edge of the building, but being stopped by a voice behind him.
"So, it was you who was behind that explosion. How about you stay and answer a few questions, buddy." Isaac looks behind him, only to see a brunette female wearing a blue form-fitting suit with a large golden light bolt over it. As well as a mask covering the area around her eyes and a scarf hanging from her neck.
"You've really gotta stop talking out loud, kid."
"Great, another weirdo."
