Chapter 7: ch-5 (Part -2)
With that in mind, I stood up shakily. The ground was quaking nonstop, so as I left, I looked like those drunk men in the streets.
When one of them jumps high, it's like a boulder crashed into the ground when they landed.
The other old man was mostly spitting bullets of wind, while the Hokage was using an extendable black staff with gold patterns.
That wasn't the end of it, both old men would form symbols using their hands. Doing so, fire, wind, water, earth, and lighting would appear to fight for them.
Seeing those techniques, I gained something that others would call ambition, but I like to call it a will to live.
'The world is my enemy.
That's how I see it and with the world as my enemy, I need power.
'No, I want power.
Because I don't have power, I don't own anything, not even my life.
Maybe I'm naive for thinking that. I'm not a wise old man, but I've experienced enough to know the world is cruel.
'And in a cruel world, you die, or you kill.!
I refuse to die.

While the two, Danzo and the current Hokage, Hiruzen, fought, neither saw Naruto flee.
"Hiruzen, what are you doing?!" Danzo shouted, enraged as he dodged Hiruzen's adamantine staff.
"Today is the day you die, Danzo," Hiruzen said, his tongue turning into the sharpest blade.
"Are you threatening me?" Danzo gnashed his teeth.
"I'm making a statement," Hiruzen spat back. "Your wretchedness has come too far. Accept death, old friend."
"It's not as easy as you think, 'Hokage'," Danzo said, his face reverting to its usual stone-cold expression.
Without letting Hiruzen react, Danzo lifted the bandages covering his eye.
"You will regret ever doing this," Danzo stared into
Hiruzen's eyes with the Sharingan in his eye.
"Kotoamatsukami!"
Danzo knows he will lose.
Kotoamatsukami is strong, but it has a weakness like every other jutsu. Those with overwhelming willpower can resist it, and Hiruzen was a person with high willpower.
'If I try to make him stop, he'll notice right away, Danzo clicked his tongue.
Like other genjutsu, a person can only resist if they know or suspect that they're under genjutsu. However, Kotoamatsukami is among the top genjutsu that affects its target without alerting them.
'I don't need to control Hiruzen when I'm going to die anyway, Danzo smirked.
'See you in hell, old friend. Die a dishonorable death!'
When dawn arrived, the villagers were greeted with the bad news. One of the village elders, Danzo Shimura, committed a severe crime and was promptly executed.
At the same time, news about the mass murderer, a man who killed his entire clan, Itachi Uchiha, spread throughout the village.
"Did I... make the wrong decision again, sensei?"
Inside his office, Hiruzen drowned himself in alcohol. Paperwork was strewn around like scrap paper, and the entire room reeked of tobacco and alcohol.
"Everything is my fault. Konoha will die because of me, and the fire of the village will die because of me!"
BANG!
Shatter...
As the bottle crumbled into bits, Hiruzen felt a moment of clarity in his mind.
"It's all my fault..."
However, darkness soon consumed his mind like a poisonous vine refusing to come off of a tall tree.
