Chapter 83: Chapter 83 Stabbed
Konoha.
The village was abuzz with an electric excitement that pulsed through its very foundations.
It was the day of the Chunin Exams, a prestigious event that drew spectators and participants from every corner of the ninja world.
The streets were adorned with vibrant banners and the air was filled with the tantalizing aromas of street food, as vendors hawked their wares to the influx of visitors.
While the villagers enjoyed the event, those participating in the event don't seem to be having as good of a time as them.

From the exit of ninja academy, a large group of genin walked out with most showing tired and relieved faces, under the leadership of a jonin at front heading towards the famous death forest.
"I nearly ended up getting eliminated in the first round; why would they put a written test in chunin exam?"
Complained Kushina with a frustrated look on her face, just a while ago at the academy the first round of chunin exam which was a written exam took place and she nearly ended up failing, no one told her there would be something related to studying in chunin exam.
"Yeah, if it weren't for Mikoto sitting close to us we would have surely failed" Nawaki who was walking next to her agreed with what she said and also praised the girl walking next to them.
She looked around 14 about the same age as nawaki and a year older than kushina, her black hair reaching her back and her black eyes carrying a gentle look in them.
She wore a black battle gear but with a fan shaped emblem printed on the back.
Mikoto Uchiha.
The three were participating in the chunin exam as a team together, Kushina due to her special status was never assigned to a genin squad and orochimaru taught nawaki so he was not part of one either.
So just for the sake of chunin exam the two were paired with mikoto uchiha, whose original squad members had refused to take chunin exam and had decided to join leaf police force.
"Don't embarrass me Nawaki-kun; I just played my part as a team member" Mikoto stayed humble at Nawaki's praise, a smile on her fair face.
At some distance from the three walked Minato with a breezy look on his face, the exam didn't seem to have bothered him at all.
Next to Minato were two twins with pure white eyes and jet black hair, the only difference between them was wearing the konoha forehead protector and the other not.
Hyuga Hiashi and Hyuga Hizashi.
The three were part of one squad as well as Minato's original team members due to their sensei Jiraiya not returning after war didn't get recommended for the exam but Minato was allowed to participate without any permission due to his merits in the war as having fought jonin there.
His team members were two brothers from the famous Hyuga clan in the village and were also the sons of Hyuga Nagito, chief of Hyuga clan.
"What's there to be so excited about this lame event…. what a drag…
The famous ino-shika-cho were among the genin as well, the genin named shikaku almost seemed like dying from boredom and laziness, eyeing the excited people around him couldn't help but sigh and complain in a tired voice.
The genin from other small allied villages around were present in the group as well with the most noticeable a group from land of waterfalls that walked just a little behind the jonin examiner.
Most genin for some reason not daring to go near the kid who looked around thirteen, tanned skin, cyan hair and a cold look in his eyes.
"Is he also…?"
Kushina seemed one of the few around that could feel the massive chakra of the cyan haired kid, but unlike others she got a familiar feeling from him as well, a guess forming in her head.
{A.N: While in official Naruto data books, the parents of shikamaru, sasuke, neji, naruto do have age differences that even goes up to 5 years except for fugaku, I have decided to slightly AU it for the plot as it doesn't really make a big difference}
The genin soon arrived outside the famous death forest of konoha which had forty-four entrances, as half of the teams were handed the earth and the other half heaven scroll with the task to reach the tower in the middle of the forest with both scrolls within five days and killing and any tactics allowed.
The genin after the gates were opened rushed into the forest as the second round of chunin exams started, but at the same time something that would chill the hearts of many civilians happened at Aoyama residence.

The sharp kunai drilled into the skin as blood splashed, the sharp edge missing the neck from couple of inches as four brown eyes faced each other, two with tears and despair in them and the other only showing a heavy look.

I know that this arc is going to the make and break of this book and I'm writing what I feel passionate to write.
I'll only explain this much that this book isn't going to be typical revenge on the village, going rouge and stuff, that is too cliché and hundreds of such fanfics are out there for to read.
I have a unique purpose for the mc and I don't plan on making him an edge lord or something, I have tried to portray him to be someone similar to young orochimaru, who doesn't express and show much but cares for others inwardly and isn't petty enough to admit his mistakes.
That's all I wanted to explain.
