Chapter 4: Chapter 2
The soft morning light filtered through the curtains of Nathan's apartment, casting a warm glow over the room as he stirred from his slumber. With a contented sigh, he stretched out his arms and blinked away the remnants of sleep, his mind already buzzing with excitement for the day ahead.
Today was special. Today, Nathan had planned a surprise date for Karen Starr, also known as Power Girl, his partner in crime-fighting and the love of his life. As he lay in bed, a smile tugged at the corners of his lips at the thought of spending the day with her, away from the chaos and danger of their nightly patrols.
With a sense of purpose, Nathan swung his legs over the edge of the bed and rose to his feet, the floor cool beneath his bare feet as he made his way to the kitchen. He had already prepared a hearty breakfast for Karen, eager to start their day together on a delicious note.

Sure enough, moments later, Karen entered the kitchen, her eyes widening in surprise at the sight before her. "Nathan, what's all this?" she exclaimed, a smile spreading across her face as she took in the spread laid out before her.
"It's breakfast," Nathan replied with a grin, gesturing to the table. "I thought we could start the day off right before heading out on a little adventure together."
Karen's eyes sparkled with delight as she took her seat at the table, her excitement palpable. As they dug into their meal, Nathan couldn't help but feel a sense of joy wash over him, knowing that he had succeeded in making Karen happy.
