Chapter 17: Ceremony and Guest part 1

After the Goddess playfully teased Lucius, she couldn't help but murmur, "Ah, he's so cute. I just want to pinch his cheeks," her voice infused with heavy breathing.

The voices of the guests resonated, "We extend our congratulations to the prince and princess for their newly revealed name."

"Goddess, could you enlighten me about our esteemed guests?" Lucius inquired politely.

"Consider it a token of my favor for your naming," the Goddess replied with a hint of mischief.

"Let's commence with the Royal Family. The distinguished figure seated at the forefront, adorned in a red robe and exuding regality with his golden hair, is King Apollo Godsbane. Beside him, his consort, Celestia Godsbane, with her resplendent blue hair and crimson attire. She is the sister of our esteemed Second Duke. Accompanying them are their offspring: Prince Orion Godsbane and Princess Isabella Godsbane, both inheriting the king's golden locks," the Goddess detailed about the Royal Family.

"Now, onto the Second Duke, Nova Starweaver, a vision of sophistication in his blue hair and stylish tuxedo. Alongside him stands his wife, Lyra Starweaver, radiant in her red-haired elegance. She is the daughter of our revered Fourth Duke. Their son, Astro Starweaver, completes the family portrait. The Second Duke is entrusted with managing all affairs of the Royal family," she continued.

"Proceeding to the Third Duke, Pyronis Emberfox, distinguished by his pink hair and striking countenance. His attire, a white tuxedo, accentuates his charm. By his side is his wife, Scarlet Emberfox, a vision of allure with her black hair and crimson ensemble. She happens to be your father's sister. Their adorable daughters, Ruby Emberfox and Aurora Emberfox, grace the gathering as your cousins. The Third Duke oversees all jewelry stores within the Empire," the Goddess elaborated.

"Next, we have the Fourth Duke's heir, William Ashenwing, garbed in priestly attire, distinguished by his fiery hair. Beside him stands his wife, Emma Ashenwing, radiant with her platinum blonde locks. She is the esteemed daughter of our First Viscount. Their daughter, Luna Ashenwing, completes their familial tableau. The Fourth Duke's family is devoted to serving as priests, utilizing divine beast powers to aid the common folk," she continued her narrative.

"Behind them all, we find the Fifth Duke, Christopher Basiliskfang, sporting dark green hair and an air of intellect with his glasses. His attire, a green tuxedo, exudes sophistication. Beside him is his wife, Natalia Basiliskfang, resplendent with her purple hair and attire. Natalia is the daughter of the Third Viscount and adds to the Basiliskfang family's esteemed lineage. Their son, Andrew Basiliskfang, stands as the next in line. The Fifth Duke presides over the auction house and oversees various illicit enterprises," she concluded.

"Do you now have a clear understanding of the Royal Family and the Dukes?" the Goddess inquired.

"Yes, thank you. Could you also shed light on my family's role within the Empire and perhaps reveal the name of this grand domain?" Lucius inquired with curiosity.

"Your family holds the esteemed responsibility of overseeing the Empire's military operations, engaging in valiant battles against demons on the front lines. And as for the name of our glorious Empire, it is known as Aresia," the Goddess revealed with a flourish.
