" wakey wakey sleeping beauty, isn't your beaty sleep a little too much, Lily" Abby sat at the edge of Lily's bed shaking her for her to wake up " come on, are you going to sleep all day?. I know you love to sleep but this is too much" said abby while pulling the blanket that has been covering Lily from head to toe.
She groaned "abby just let me sleep a little more please" lily pleaded while moving her legs near her chest for her to save the warmth that her bed had along with her body.
" Aagghh, you've been sleeping since yesterday evening and i don't know how you go through all those hours on the bed and you don't lack some sleep during night for god sake" abby stood up and went straight for the window and pushed them open. It was the last month for winter to but it was too cold.
Lily woke up and sat up while observing the movements of abby in her apartment.
Lily lives in small studio apartment where often her best friend comes to sleep over sometimes. They were friends seens teens.
She observed abby as she started tomake herself some ramen while grinning since its her favorite.
" Dont just gawk at me like that, you know you have some classes to attend right?!" Said abby while raising her hand showing lily to the bathroom as if she don't know where the bathroom is. " You know you sleep too much sometimes it makes me worry that you are pregnant, maybe but NO! I've known since i don't know when but damn girl, quit sleeping that much, sometimes it makes me worry" she took the ramen and start eating it.
She giggled when lily rolled her eyes " you want me to make you some?" Lily got down from the bed and made her way to bathroom and turned her head to abby " I'm all set, but don't forget to wash all the dishes you used" she sighed and added " please, because i know how much you hate to wash the dishes as much as i do but dont you just leave them like that because I'm gonna make you regrate it" and she entered the bathroom and closed the door behind her.
" Okay I'll wash them " and soon she heard a shower running. She glanced at her small bamboo vintage watch and shout for lily to hear "the clock is ticking dear, your sweet professor won't wait for anyone you know"
After 5 perfect minutes, Lily got out of the bathroom and rushed to her closet and she put on her jeans,bra and an oversized hoodie.
She glanced at abby and saw that she was watching her all the time and asked " aren't you going to your job today?" when she didn't answer " you've been sitting there for quite awhile" she turned to the side of the bed and took her small simple bag and she checked the keys in her bag and took them out and turned to abby " I'm done. Let's go"
When they reached out of the apartment. They headed directly to the bus stop where Lily took the bus to college while Abby goes to the mall where she works " hey lily, don't forget to take your lunch or anything. Just don't forget to eat something" she waved at abby and got on the bus. She took out her earbuds and put them on.
As she reached to college she glanced at her phone " three minutes too the third floor, phew" she observed the tall building and stared to walk fast enough and soon she started running.
Lily and Abby both were in college 2 years ago. Lily took Marketing while Abby took Economics before things turned upside down, Abby was forced to quit and attend the mother duties. When Abby was twenty one years she got pregnant and her boyfriend accepted the child but run off without living anything to Abby. Abby managed to take some part-time jobs but it didn't go well because she had to focus on her studies while searching for some possibilities of getting the part time jobs, so she decided to quit and look for a job that she can earn something for her baby and her grandmother.

The classes were finished early and Lily was so excited since it was friday and she got two days to freshen up.
While walking to the corridors, she turned to see couples making out,talking, holding hands.
She took a left turn and head to the elevator and pressed the button for it to open. She waited for some seconds and finally, when the elevator opened, she didn't seem to be surprised at scene Infront of her. she met the couple making out again in the elevator. ' what a shameless people' thought to her self and said to the couple " oops, my bad guess I'll take the stairs" when she turned and started to walkaway, the guy told her "it's okay you may get in we won't bite" he smiled
Hmph " no no no I'm fine just...." She waved her hand for them to continue what they were doing and she walked out of the scene " what a bunch of weirdos" she scoffed and headed to the stairs.
Soon she reached to the college gates and took the near bus that had stop at the near bus stop and headed to the city.
When she reached at the city, she sighed and inhaled in the air, the sweet aroma that hasn't been to get for like a whole month " it's been a long time" she giggled when she saw her favorite place where she always take the sweet coffee whenever she comes to the city.
She made her way to the entrance and she saw a commotion to the art gallery at a far and she wondered what's going on at the area.
" Hello mister Hawkins" she greeted an old man who grinned when he saw her " look who's here oh I've missed you and Abigail" she glanced back at her and noticed she wasn't with abby
" Where is she?!. I haven't seen her in months. You too, you haven't been visiting the city lately, is there anything wrong?" the old man asked in worried tone that made Lily smile.
She gave the oldman an assuring smile and said " we are totally fine, nothing is wrong it's just we've been busy lately and nothing more" and then she asked " I've seen a commotion outside it seems people are excited about something at the gallery and you know i can't visit the city without going to gallery to admire those mysterious drawings"
" Oh, that. They said the owner is not often to be seen and today he came at this gallery of his and I've noticed they are many women there and the paparazzi" he took the black coffee and gave it to Lily and continued " and they say that he is a bachelor. One among the bachelor of the city so...." He shrugged his shoulders " that's all i know"
She gave me more information than what i expected thought Lily. She paid for the coffee and said " I'll make sure to bring Abby next week grandpa you can count on me" she raised her small arm and sworn, that made Mr Hawkins smile.
" You rarely call me Grandpa and you know i love it so don't you ever call me Mister Hawkins,Ever again" he pointed his index finger to Lily and said to it to a serious tone.
She hardly laughed and she truly always wanted to have grandparents " ok ok granpa, I won't" she smiled and then said " now if you will excuse me I'm going to my favorite gallery and I don't want you to miss some customers here because of me" she said and hugged the oldman " I'll make sure to bid you goodbye before i live the city Grandpa"
He patted Lily's back and said " ok see you soon my dear granddaughter" and she left.
