Chapter 2: Chapter 2 Strange Rune
"H-here you are my lord." Bowed the man as they arrived infront of the temple. The temple was a beautiful, large white building with a large, lush garden on the outside. There was a beautifully paved path to the temple's entrance, but thses things were not what made the temple seem mystical and awe inspiring to humans, it was the golden barrier that surrounded it. This golden barrier was an [Angelic Domain] created by Lucifer himself using the [Angelic Core] skill. This [Angelic Domain] could create holy energy which could be absorbed by anything within the domain....including humans. The humans that were allowed to live in these domains were held in high regard, even above human kings, which is why every human desires to be one of the chosen ones to enter.
"Thank you, you may leave now." Lucifer said and the man quickly left without saying a word. Lucifer stepped into the domain and instantly he felt refreshed, although the amount of holy energy inside was nothing compared to heaven, it was still better than the energy less environment of Earth. Lucifer walked into the temple and saw many servants going about there daily activities, as he passed them, they all stopped what they were doing and bowed with respect.
'Oh, it seems like they have been cultivating as I instructed them.' Lucifer said as he observed them through [Aura Vision]. He could see the golden energy attached to their auras and based on the amount they should be priests. He continued walking through the temple and the deeper he went the stronger the holy energy became and soon, he arrived at a extravagant foor that was being guarded by two shirtless,young men wearing baggy white pants. From their auras, he could tell that they were saints. They opened the door for him and he took a deep breath before entering.
Inside, he saw a beautiful woman and a youngman sitting on a wide sofa. The woman was slowly caressing his abs and the youngman face was completely red, making Lucifer concerned for the young man's health.
"Asmodious." Lucifer said calmly and both turned to look at him. The woman smiled sweetly at him making his eyelids twitch.
"Paco, you may leave." The woman said and the young man quickly got up.
"Please excuse me, my lord." Paco said before running out of the room.
"My lord, long time no see." The woman said as she slowly got up off the sofa and Lucifer finally saw her fully. She was an incredibly beautiful woman with black hair, pink eyes and curvy figure. She wore white, revealing clothing and walked around with a certain grace about her.
"I see you haven't given up on your....bad habits, Asmodious." Lucifer said with a sigh. This wasn't the first time this happened.
"I'm sorry my lord but I am a slave to my desires." Asmodious said as she sat back on the sofa and Lucifer sighed again. He had met Asmodious over two hundred years ago when he was exploring the realm and saw her running away from a bunch if men covered in blood. After intervening, he found out that these men were loan sharks who killed her parents and wanted to sell her as slaves to pay off her parents debt. Disgusted by these men, he killed them without batting an eye and decided to ask one of his friends, Jeviel to help him build this temple after telling him about the situation. Then Asmodious rounded up a few of her friends and there families and brought them to the temple and they lived there ever since. Although he didn't make them live there totally free of cost though, they had to cultivate holy energy like Angels do and gather information into this realms history for him, two conditions they had no problem with.
"Can you atleast try to change?" Lucifer asked
"My lord, when you have as long as we do to live, you need a hobby, mines young men and yours is exploring the realms." She said and he had to admit that she was right. He was an angel who could potentially live forever and she was ascended human, a tier five cultivator.
"Did you find anything me?" Lucifer asked, trying to change the conversation.
"Actually I have." She said and walked over to the desk beside the sofa. She opened a drawer and took out a book, she opened it and showed Lucifer a strange symbol that looks familiar and yet at the same time, not.
"This was a symbol found by a scout a few days ago. It looks like a rune but it doesn't look like anything you have shown me. Have you ever seen anything like this?" Asmodious asked while Lucifer observed the alien rune.
"No, I've never seen anything like this." He said excitedly
'Finally, I have found something new.' Lucifer thought
"Where was this found?" He asked
"Umm, at Mt. Shamiel, the big mountain to the north named after the Angel Shamiel." Asmodious said after looking for a while. Lucifer immediately opened a portal and stepped through it, leaving her behind.
"He didn't even say thank you. And I suppose I did a good job based on how excited he was, I deserve a treat. Paco, come here you youthful hunk." She shouted seductively and walked out the door to look for her victim.
