Chapter 43: The Truth

It almost looked like a routine at this point. Astor is overwhelmed by those dark feelings and Ren steps in to stop him. In the eyes of the white-haired werewolf the Alpha of the Crimson Nightcrawlers could be a monster, a dark figure looming over, laughing at his enemies as they seemed oblivious to their upcoming deaths. He was a man exactly like that so why was it that when Astor was involved the roles would always change? He would turn into the monster and Ren would be the one to tame him. It felt unreal, otherworldly how easily he affected him. 

Ren had dragged him away, shouting at Nash to make the antidote and move Zeth to the bedroom upstairs. The blond man obeyed, overwhelmed by his presence as he stared at him. He was seated on the ground, restraining Astor who moved like a wild animal, wishing to grab his little brother and put an end to his life.
