"How did you manage to do that? How was I able to come here at your will?" Vinnandra asked, incredulous at the situation.
"It's a witch's summon. It only works on witches. That would only mean you're one," Marenda simply said, studying her like an artefact.
Vinn swallowed at the thought of the question she wanted to ask the other woman. She was, after all, the Master of Sorcery, much more powerful and lethal to speak of. The woman had, after all, stopped a whole blizzard on her own. Still, she mustered the courage to ask it.
"Are you a witch-spy?"
At first, Marenda seemed confused by the question, but then realisation washed over her, and she barked out a maniacal laughter, tears spilling from her eyes as she kept on laughing. Vinn was a little stunned by the scene. What was it that she found incredibly funny? Her question? Or the fact that she asked?
