Chapter 2: CHAPTER 2: FAINTING
“Isn’t she pitiful?”
“It’s such a pity for her to meet such a person.”
“This is why before you start seeing someone, you need to observe the other first before jumping into relationships.”
“He should have broken up with her somewhere else.”
“That’s true and to think that it is their anniversary.”
“I am curious about what those two meant when they said that she is fake.”
“Haha, isn’t that obvious? Either she is a trans woman or a cross-dresser!”
“But that doesn’t give anyone the right to call someone fake. What’s wrong with being who you want to be?”
“Who knows and cares?”
“But it’s not fair, though. He was with her for three years and suddenly she is fake. It wasn’t like he didn’t enjoy being with her all this time!”
“At the end of the day, all men would want kids one way or the other.”
Braelyn sat motionlessly at the table, looking at the table, her once-tied hair loose as it covered her face.
She was so embarrassed to leave. After the humiliation she had just gone through and, to make it worse, all of it happened before the surprise she had prepared even started.
What about the money she spent just so she could have a table at this famous hotel? What about her poor heart? How was she going to leave this place under all this pressure?
Braelyn was in a dilemma, but she understood one thing: if she didn’t leave now, she might not be able to. Although she had been dragged through the mud mercilessly, she still had a life to live and only by taking the first step out of the restaurant would she be able to walk down the path she had carved for herself a few months ago.
There was no way she was going to give up that fast before she taught that scumbag and home wrecker a lesson.
Without further ado, Braelyn stood up from the chair, attracting a lot of people who were wondering when she would leave.
Everyone suddenly went quiet, but she didn’t mind. She had her hair covering her eyes, so she wouldn’t be able to see them anywhere.
She picked up her bag before leaving the restaurant as if she was escaping. The gasps and the chatter that rose as she fled with her tail hidden between her legs made her finally crumble.
She felt worthless as she walked in the passage while holding onto the wall. Her legs felt pretty weak, and all she felt like doing at that moment was crumbling to the fall and just forgetting about it.
The strength to support herself seemed to be slowly diminishing, and it was starting to worry her. And since she hadn’t eaten hoping to stuff herself at the restaurant, her sugar levels seemed to be complaining too.
‘I feel dizzy!’ she suddenly thought as she felt herself as if someone was busy twirling her around despite walking while holding the wall.
‘This is ba-’ Before she could even finish, Braelyn found herself falling to the floor, her unconscious blacking out right there.
“OMG! Someone had fainted!”
“We need some help here!”
Suddenly, there was chaos in the corridor as soon as Braelyn fainted. Who would have thought that someone would suddenly faint like that?
When people heard the commotion, others quickly recognized the person who had fainted as the girl who was humiliated by her boyfriend and mistress earlier. Making everyone feel pity for her.
Since she had fainted, she needed to be sent to the hospital, so the people in charge were already working on that.
Meanwhile, passing by the restaurant was a small group of young men who had attracted a lot of fanatical girls swooning and squealing whenever one of them looked their way.
“What’s the commotion over there?” as they walked, one of them suddenly asked a server upon seeing people surrounding a certain place.
When the server was stopped by these people, he immediately pasted a flattering smile on his face, celebrating deep down how lucky he was to have met these people of all days.
“Fifth Master, there is a girl that fainted suddenly. The ambulance is on its way and someone is about to carry her to a private room to provide her some space!”
The person called the fifth master frowned upon hearing that.
“What happened to her?” he couldn’t help but ask, wanting to hear more details.
When the server was asked once again, he didn’t hesitate but revealed everything that he had seen and heard which happened to her.
When the group of young masters heard it, they couldn’t help but gasp, although it was pretty normal in their circle for something that crazy to happen.
“Okay, take care of her and make sure that nothing happens!” the fifth master instructed.
“We will do so!” the server said before rushing to where he was going before he was stopped.
On the other hand, the fifth master and his friends were planning to go ahead. After all, it wasn’t like she was the first person to have suffered injustice in their establishment. Besides, it was a common thing for people to break up and others to show their dominance and power.
So, her fainting wasn’t any of their business. Besides, it wasn’t the hotel’s fault that something like that had happened as well.
“Aren’t you going to check?” a friend of the fifth master asked as he nudged the man’s elbow while pointing with his chin in the direction where the commotion was happening.
The fifth master looked at his friend with disdain and asked, “Are you that eager for gossip?”
“Hehe, you can’t blame me! Isn’t she pitiful?”
“So, what if she is pitiful? It’s not like you can save every soul in this world!” the fifth master said coldly as he walked forward.
“Ronan, come on! Let’s just wait a bit, okay? Besides, I am also a doctor. Why don’t I help you check her?”
Ronan stopped in his tracks as he sized this friend of his suspiciously, especially after hearing how he was so eager to check the other person out.
“Could it be you know her?”
