Chapter 2: TUSSLES OF TROUBLES

As they're standing in the secret room, debating what to do next, they hear a strange creaking sound coming from the floorboards above their heads. The creaking sound gets louder and louder, and then suddenly a huge, heavy chandelier crashes down from the ceiling, barely missing them as it smashes into the floor. A bit shaken from the chandelier crashing down. They look around the room, trying to figure out what's going on. Suddenly, they notice something strange about the walls of the secret room, they notice that the walls are covered in strange symbols. The symbols look like writing, but they don't match any language they've ever seen before. Then, as they're studying the symbols, the walls of the secret room start to shift and change, and the symbols rearrange themselves into new patterns. The patterns on the walls start to form into pictures and images.The shifting walls start to fade, and the images disappear, leaving them in a plain, empty room once again. They feel a cold breeze coming from somewhere, and they hear a low, mournful howling sound coming from the walls. Suddenly, the floor beneath their feet starts to shake and tremble, and then it drops away, leaving them dangling over a dark, bottomless pit. The walls are shaking and cracking, and the room is starting to collapse around them. As the room collapses around them, a bright light shines from the center of the room. The light grows brighter and brighter, until it's blinding. And then, everything goes black. As they open their eyes, Emily finds that she's back in the house, but everything is different. The walls and floor are no longer crumbling, and the room is no longer shaking. She looks at herself and finds that she's... back to normal. But there's something different about her. She feels... stronger, faster, and more aware than before. As she looks at the other person in the room, she realizes that there's no one. As Emily looks around the room, she hears Timber's voice, but she doesn't see her anywhere. The voice seems to be coming from all around her, but there's no sign of Timber but she still feels that Timber is there with her, even though she can't see her. As Emily stands there, trying to figure out what's happening, she suddenly sees a strange light coming from the corner of the room. She walks over to it, and finds that it's a mirror, but not a normal mirror. As she looks into it,she saw both of them.
