Chapter 20: A good Dog
A good Dog
//1506 early January
"Ha-Hancock !" Sandersonia couldn't believe her eyes. For last 7 months she had done only two things. Console and give hope to her little sister Marigold, and prey to the God to end their misery even if it means death. She had given up on every hope to live. To be considered as a human ever again.
This was her third visit to Sabaody archipelago, after her capture and slavery.
She had never expected to see Hancock's face. It was just a glimpse before there rescuer covered her face with the Clown mask. The Clown masked person quickly grabbed her slave collar. For a moment, Sandersonia panicked. But then calmness took over her. Maybe her misery will end after her death. There was just a little regret. Her Marigold will be alone without her.
The alarm of the slave collar started to ring. Sandersonia accepted her fate and closed her eyes.
*Claaaack**Boom*
She heard the exploding sound but she didn't feel any pain. It should be momentary. But at least there should be a little pain before her death. But she found none.
So she opened her eyes just to see the same masked clown breaking the collar around her little sister's neck and quickly throwing it away before it exploded.
"Let's go we don't have time." Sandersonia thought that she heard her elder sisters voice. For a moment everything seemed to be a dream to her . But the stranger didn't stop and pulled them away holding her hand.
"As if I would let you go away !"

When Akainu was going to move, suddenly his observation haki warned him about the incoming danger. He dared not to move and stayed by the sides of two remaining celestial dragons.
No matter what he cannot risk the lives of world nobels. Although he personally wanted to hunt down the culprit, he couldn't . As he expected something flew towards the celestial dragons the very next moment. When he saw the objects flying towards them his eyes widened in shock. A broken slave collar that was about to explode.
Akainu quickly used his Magma powers to deflect the attack. He could sense that it will explode near the Marine soldiers. But the collar was about to explode. And no matter what he couldn't risk the life of a world Nobel.
The second attack of those slave collars happened a moment after the first attack and this time Akainu, deflected it towards the roof above the entrance.
It was a risky move but he has made a plan in his head.
He locked his observation haki on the attacker.
Whoever He was he was going to pay for it !
He felt the celestial dragon who was taken as a hostage, was also moving towards the same direction as the attacker. He decided to finish off the attacker first and then go for the kidnapper.
"Let's go we don't have time." Akainu heard a feminine voice who was trying to disguise it by deepening it.
Akainu moved immidiately.
Someone who could easily take off the slave collars cannot be an ordinary person. Not to mention the previous burst of conqueror's haki. It seems that those slaves were connected to some bigshot.
So he decided to target the slaves first. They have a world Nobel as a hostage. And someone who wields that Power can never be an ordinary person. So the best option for him was to force them to stay and fight him by targeting the slaves.
"As if I would let you go away !" Akainu shouted and rushed forward guided by his observation haki. He reached one of the slave girls in an instant using soru. With his Magma devil fruit powers, he punched forward.
But suddenly his attack stopped. And Akainu felt severe pain in his arm.
He quickly elementalized his arm as it exploded backwards.
If he had been a moment late then his arm could have been badly injured.
He looked towards the clown, who was retrieving his leg from the kick. The Clown was almost half of his size. But the mastery of haki he showed was not to be underestimated.
Akainu misjudged his opponent. That was definitely haki. And not some ordinary haki attack. Because it hurt even more than Zypher's emission punches. For this kind of opponent, Akainu needed to go go all out facing these kinds of opponents. But he couldn't because of the presence of the world nobles. And it irritated him to no end.
Akainu wanted to handle the situation all by himself and prove that he didn't need an admiral to come to the sabaody archipelago in his presence.
But then another voice stopped him from attacking again.
"Carefull ! Vice admiral ! One more move and I will below up the head of this celestial pig." Akainu then heard the clique of the gun, ready to be fired. But this momentary destruction was all it needed for Hancock to land a powerful kick enhanced with internal destruction version of armament haki on the chest of Akainu and sent him flying.
Silver was thankful that Hancock has knocked out the celestial pics at the beginning. It would have been really annoying to deal with them.
As soon as Hancock kicked away the vice admiral, silver made a beeline to the exit. Hancock and her sisters quickly followed behind.
The entrance was blocked by the rubbles from the roof. But it wasn't a problem for them. With a single kick Hancock cleared the path.
Everything went as they planned. As Hancock said before marines are nothing but good dogs. They will always try to prioritise the safety of their masters.
