In a certain Teacher's courtyard… 

An Academy-shattering event was happening! Even now, the poor medics felt like they were going insane. What was this?! This mess had all started with Teacher Gale's shout! 

"HEAL ALREADY!" 

Heal? Why? He was perfectly healthy— 

But then it happened. Out of nowhere, his skin started rupturing?! Then came the blood, so much blood that the medics doubted their eyes, and on top of that was the energy. 

Dark, ominous, and deadly Mana! 

It erupted out of Gray even as he closed his eyes, seemingly meditating. Seeing this, the poor medics instantly "understood" what happened. 

"Oh, god! A sacrificial technique?!"

"I've never seen something like that!" 

"Keep healing! Don't stop no matter what!" 

They poured all their mana into wounds that just wouldn't close, despair creeping in. At this moment, they felt as if they were trying to empty the sea with a bucket, a sea of blood!
