Chapter 17: Joining A club 1

After parting with Lily I left her office, And to no ones surprise I found Fiona standing in front of the door.

" That's what happens when you mess with the Maximus, Trash of Dragonhearts. " She said to me with an evil snicker. And as for why she's assuming that I got punished, is due to my eyes being some what red after holding in tears of joy. I didn't corrected her and went straight to my class. The breakfast time was almost over.

And the next class would be weapon training.

The weapon training classes are held on the training field as yesterday. The Person who is assigned to the class as the instructor is an early retired former general. He is also amongst the top thousand in the Global Hero Rankings. His name is Broderick Ainsworth, Also Known As the Beast of the Northern Boarder. He is a ripped muscular man with the height of 6.9.

" Alright, cadets who already have an weapon art go and stand on my right side and Cadets who don't to my Left. " Instructor Broadrick said in an Authoritative tone.

After two minutes cadets were divided in to two groups. I went to the right side because I have already practiced my weapon art in front of the training instructor, Although it is partially I can't go and shamelessly ask for another weapon art, thats Why I asked Lilith for a weapon art.

Then Instructor Broadrick proceeded to give out weapon arts to the cadets to his left. While he asked others to go train individually.

And like that, Rest of the academy hours went smoothly, Without anything interesting happening.

And now I was heading towards the Academy club area, And even now there could be seen second and third year cadets trying to recruit the first years along the road to the club area.

" Junior come and try our tea brewing club. "

" We are the wrestling club, Join us and build your brawling prowess. "

" Hey first year, come and Join the fight club. "

" Would you like to join our poetry club. "

On the way to the designated location in my mind, many clubs tried to recruit me. It was the same for other first year cadets as well. After five minutes walk along the road to the club area, I stopped in front of a tent which was build below a vibrance color Oak tree.

In the entrance to the tent there was a name written on a board which said Verdant Activist Club. Verdant is similar to Green in French Which portrays the real name as Green activist or Nature Lovers in simpler terms.

From behind the tent, I could see smoke going up. So I went around the tent and got to the back of it.

" Mmm hmmmm hmmm hmmm. " Behind the tent, I Saw a pink haired girl humming a song while brewing a tea.

As I got near her, She noticed my presence and looked at me as her expression got cheerful.

" Aw. Visitors! Are you hoping to join our Verdant Activist Club. " She asked me in a cheerful manner as her vibrant red eyes sparkled with glimmer.

" Yes, I am some what interested, What does the club do. " Although I knew what the club activities are, I just asked to make sure.

" Well rather than saying, Come here and sit with me to enjoy it first hand. " She told me while gesturing me to sit on the green grass ground.

" Would you like some tea. " She asked me to which I said yes.

" Wow this hits the spot. " She said as she enjoyed her own tea.

" Yah, This is tasty. It's been so long since I had a tea that is this good. " I said honestly. I wasn't lying. The tea really was tasty.

" He He thank you. Do you see the sky today? Isn't it beautiful. And specially the scenery before us. That lush forest which is showered by the evening sunlight. And small light coming through this Oak tree Showering upon the ground prompting the green grass to glisten with sunlight. " She said while explaining the scenery before us.

The club areas are located on a high ground, Not just the club area the whole academy ground is build on a high ground. But from here, You can see the south central border pretty clearly, Specially the towering forest.

" Yah it is rather Beautiful. " I said admiring the scenery while slowly sipping the tea.

" This here is what we do. We enjoy what the nature has to offer us fully. " She said smiling cutely while sipping her own tea.

But what she said is only half true. The end goal of this club is to enjoy the nature But In a world filled with mana beasts and whatnot, it's something hard to achieve. So in the process of Exploring unexplored places to enjoy the scenery, they also have to battle mana beast. All new comers who joins this club only lasts at most two weeks.

And all of those who quits the club can't spell a bean about the process of defeating mana beasts because, the club takes a mana oath from everyone to keep the secrets of the club within it.

But that is precisely why I will be joining this club. In my past life as Damian I also loved exploring and enjoying the scenery. So by joining this club I can fight mana beasts and get combat experience while also enjoying my hobby. So thats two birds in one stone.

" Well, I too like enjoying the scenery. Can I apply for this club? " I said to her after admiring the scenery before me for a few minutes .

" Yes of course. Wait here, I'll grab the form. " She said even more cheerfully as her eyes sparkled in excitement. Then she dashed in to the tent to grab a Form.

In a minute she was back again as she handed me the application form with a pen. I slowly filled the form while sipping my unfinished tea. Then I handed the form to her.

" Avion Dragonheart. Oh you are from the dragonheart huh? Nice to meet you Avion, My name is Cecilia Glayder. " She said with her usual cheerful manner.

After applying for the Club I went to my dorm room to pick up my weapon Art Scroll which I will be receiving from my big sis.
