Chapter 9: The Gates Of Opening
It's been a month since I found myself in the world of Naruto and so far, It's been great.
I've grown really strong.
Constantly drawing on Chakra everyday to perform Jutsu steadily increased my Chakra reserves which were towering at 6, 000 right now.
I stretched and got off from the bed, smiling as the new alarm clock did it's work. It was 3AM in the morning and I was going for my Morning training- After all, The grind is eternal and waits for no one.

With the daily supply of Attribute points, My attributes have been strengthened further.
After putting on my clothes, which consisted of a black shirt and blue shorts. I gave a small smile and wrapped the Gravity bands around my wrists, They were bought from the System and had the weight of 5x the gravity of Earth. And to cover these gravity weights, I wrapped bandages similar to the ones Lee wear.
As for how I got to use the Shop, I get loaded with 2 System coins after completing a daily quest and 4 after completing a regular mission so right now, I had 100 SC after spending of course.
I wrapped my Genin headband around my head and went downstairs to the dining room, I grabbed a box of cereal from the corner and then a new carton of milk- No more expired milk for me.
I had my breakfast quickly and proceeded to head outside, The sun wasn't out yet but this was the perfect time to begin my daily training. I created 4 shadow clones to do the Daily quest and headed to Training Ground #7.
Over this month, I had gained a proficient level of mastery in the Strong Fist commonly used by Might Guy and Rock Lee although the information provided in the Library didn't give access to the Gates Of Opening- made sense though, Why would such a deadly and FORBIDDEN technique be on show?
But luckily for me, I knew how to open the First gate using the Primary Lotus. That was usually what my early morning training is about.
I arrived at the Training ground and felt an ethereal breeze rush through the air.
"I can't still get over the fact that It's been a month already," I said, "Although we haven't gotten that Land Of Waves mission yet,"
Performing the seals, A Shadow clone popped into existence in front of me, his face looked frightened as he awaited the impending doom.
"Alright," I said and made some space between us, "Here we go! Are you ready to die?"
"Yes!" It shouted, fearfully.
And with that reassurance, I took in a deep breath and felt my muscles strain. My eyes narrowed onto the figure of my Opponent and I rushed forward, disappearing into thin air only to reappear right below the Clone.
My movements were a blur and that was because Chakra was leaking through my entire body right now, The first gate was already open. With a powerful kick, I sent the clone flying into the air.
Adrenaline pulsated through my veins as I jumped into the air, vanishing once again. The clone looked around in an attempt to find me but it was slow as I appeared behind it's back.
The bandages undid themselves, spreading all around the clone and wrapping it from head to toe.
"Primary Lotus!" I cried out while spinning alongside the clone, We both went down and crashed into the ground sending shockwaves through the battlefield.
I emerged from the attack momentarily and I felt my muscles were torn, my legs were also throbbing with pain and my head was nearly spinning but it was all cured in a minute, the healing power of the Kyuubi kicking in.
I retained the power of the First gate and a small smile spread through my lips. Surely, The power that came with opening only the first gate nearly doubles my stats… I can see why the gates of opening are very powerful.
But they also inflict harm upon opening them but the Kyuubi's healing combined with the Uzumaki healing makes me a force to be reckoned with.
Right now, I had other important things to be doing though, Like focusing on how to break through the First gate, This has been my limiter for a whole month now and who doesn't like doubling their stats? But when opponents like Haku and Zabuza are going to come around- A little bit of reassurance would be nice too right?
The Gate of Rest is located in the brain's right hemisphere, increases the user's physical strength. This has the added effect of re-energising the body, enabling it to rapidly recover from exhaustion… I think that's what I got from Google that time.
So if I focus on the right hemisphere of the brain… An intense chakra wrapped around me and I felt more strength rush through my veins, So I did it, huh? I just freaking opened the Second gate!
"Gate of Rest Open!" I cried out for the fun of it.
The feeling of achievement really is a great thing but I have been postponing my visit to the Kyuubi to bargain- for his Chakra.
Being able to enter One tail even at a moment's notice will be an important tool for turning the battles ahead in my favor in the future, Especially when Kakashi is as weak as fuck against Zabuza.
I mean Dude is the Copy Ninja for crying out loud… He was supposed to beat Zabuza hands-down but the anime and manga didn't voluntarily like the idea of Kakashi being overpowered in the beginning.
I can only hope that things are different in real life…
