With trembling hands, I stuffed my belongings into the suitcase, my mind racing with fear and confusion. 

Everything was happening too fast. Aidan's twisted game of a fake honeymoon had escalated into a nightmare where he was now blackmailing me to live with him. My whole world was crumbling before my eyes and I couldn't even begin to comprehend what my life had become.

Just days ago, I had been an ambitious young woman, eager to succeed and build a business empire. But now, I was nothing more than a pawn in his hand.

But one thing was certain: I couldn't let Aidan win at everything. I couldn't let him break me.

I needed a plan to destroy him.

"Almost done?"

His deep voice behind me startled me. I zipped my bag and turned to him slowly. "Yes. I am done packing."
