Chapter 58: Emperor Silvershine VS Priestess
The silver ring liquefied into melted silver, as it was dripping down towards ground with a swirl of Emperor Silvershine's hand it trailed back up into the air to expand continuously till it became a vast expanse of ocean consisting purely from silver, it found its place above him as it casted its massive shadow on both of them, blocking any sunlight from passing through.
The entire lake that The Priestess stood upon was now engulfed in a shadow, turning the entire field below cold, "Impressive as always." Priestess didn't mince back her compliments as she lifted her delicate right hand towards the expanse of silver above.
The chill increased as the huge lake below rose upwards at incredible speeds, it converged towards a single point like a tendril made of water, arriving in front of Emperor Silvershine in just a few seconds, a monstrous speed for an attack so large.
Emperor Silvershine put both of his hands forth which caused the huge silver sea to descend below to meet with the water sea that was ascending towards him, SPLASH! Both colossal bodies of liquid clashed, causing shockwaves to spread and ruin what was left of the ground beneath them, there was no longer any vegetation or wildlife as far as the eye could see in the area.
The ocean of silver was actually being pushed back by the column like tendrils that attacked it, seeing this Emperor Silvershine's extended hands rotated around each other, which resulted in the silver sea to follow his motion and begin rotating as well till it took the form of a giant silver vortex that pulled in the tendrils of water.
After the success of his counter, Emperor Silvershine doubled down, turning the vortex's spiraling power up a notch till it became a silver tornado! The tornado sucked in all the tendrils, ravaging the entire bright sky, it looked like an omen of the end.
Seeing her tendrils getting sucked in Priestess knew she had to quickly counter, she applied force to barely manage to combine the tendrils into a huge single tendril under the opposing force from the silver tornado, the huge tendril soon started to rotate to the counterclockwise, trying to keep its ground against the ravagin silver tornado.
However, it didn't work, with how much counter force was being applied to it, the tornado couldn't start its rotation properly and it seemed destined to be swallowed up by the silver maw of the colossal tornado. Priestess bit the tip of her right index finger, letting out a few drops of blood which traveled towards the mana tendril to reinforce it, the blood turned into a trail of fire as it rained destruction on its path.
The moment both liquids touched, they easily combined, giving the now blood colored tendril new life. Flames took its form and with newfound strength started to rotate, not only opposing the silver tornado but disturbing its rotation as well.
This was the special bloodline ability of The Priestess, which coupled with her innate water element, lash out attacks as if she possessed both water and fire affinities.
Emperor Silvershine pulled back his tornado a bit in response, in a heartbeat the large tornado converged then was shaped into a huge saw. Priestess' flaming tornado was merciless, not giving him any time to recoup as it rushed towards the gigantic saw, its flaming mouth ready to devour till it burnt out of existence.
"Upping up the power, I see.", accompanied with those words, Emperor Silvershine's second blue silver ring slipped out of his ring finger. It melted just like the first one and with a sweep of his hand rushed to join the first batch of silver to reinforce the monstrous saw.
The blue silver however, was much lower in quantity, luckily its strength laid in its qualities. The blue silver integrated into the gigantic saw like nails on it, resulting in the slow turning saw to gain immense speed, so fast the it disturbed the air flow in the surroundings resulting in the ground beneath to be cut into thousand pieces as the air acted as sharp blade, just as a side effect of the monstrous rotation.
The blue silver was higher in mana conductivity than the first silver he dispatched, resulting in his control over it being greater, letting him achieve even greater speeds.
The saw easily cut the flaming tornado, dispersing the flaming liquid tornado to large chunks before it descended and to the chunks level and rotated from its center while still keeping its sideways rotation intact, creating what was akin to a death dome, under the non stop attacks from the silver saw what was left of once colossal flaming tornado also dispersed.
Once done with the flaming tornado, the saw descended towards The Priestess at lightning speeds combined with both gravity and Emperor Silvershine's control pushing it towards her.
Seeing the enlarging shadow on her, and the colossal death spiral that was heading her way. Priestess opened her arms out with her palms open, her hands clenched into fists as the ground beneath cracked, the entire visible area had its ground open in chasms as floods of water rushed to block the tornado's path, such immense amounts of water was successful in blocking its temporality.
She bit her lips as blood leaked onto her already crimson lips, she spit the blood as it joined the body of water, once again a vast flaming sea found its place in the battlefield.
With a wave of her hands the flaming water slowly but surely changed into flaming red ice! The red ice under the masterful manipulation of The Priestess took the form of a huge golem which winded back and landed a sky shattering punch right on saw's teeth.
The saw as a result was pushed back, "How artistic." Emperor Silvershine commented, knowing full well this went beyond just being ice sculpted into the shape of a titanic golem, it was a complex spell which resulted in a more solid form. Luckily when it came to sculpting, he was the true master here, having an earth as his innate element.
The giant saw melted from where it was flinged up, it descended towards the ground as liquid silver. As it descended, it split into two batches which were both sculpted to be the arms of the giant titan that emerged. He had used blue silver for its arm to increase its punching force.
The silver titan stretched its chest pulling back its arms, while the flaming ice golem below did the same, BOOM! Both launched forth their punches at the same time, their punches meeting in air.
The force was so great that the silver titan was launched back up, while the water golem was dug into the ground a bit, BOOM! Once more their punches met, as the water golem was further dug down as the silver titan rained upon it a fury of punches with its blue silver fists. The ground sent a shockwave with each clash of punches, causing earthquakes to appear.
As The Priestess was about to bite her finger to let more blood into her golem, she caught the image of Emperor Silvershine's third ring slowly slipping out of his middle finger, "I can't handle the third ring right now.", she thought to herself.
She put force onto her knees, ascending to sky like an angel, as she left her golem soon collapsed, the water from it filling the chasms on the ground.
Emperor Silvershine looked at her fleeing figure, she was fast but not fast enough that he couldn't catch up. He however, didn't chase her instead turned around and with a powerful force flew back to his Empire.
As the Emperor he couldn't afford to leave the premises of his Empire in such an open manner or else the neighboring Emperors would ravage his Empire to bits before he could even realize what had happened.
From the start of this clash both sides knew that it would end in a draw, their main purpose was to assess the strength of an enemy Rank 3.
