"What do you mean by the slumber state? Don't tell me I'll be asleep forever?" I frowned, and she smiled and nodded simultaneously.

"Yes, it seems like you are very intelligent. I like that. I know you are a smart girl and you will make the right decision." I fell silent, the sudden quiet enveloping us.

I couldn't afford to be trapped in this dream. Maybe I should just allow her in? No, she's a dark witch, she's evil and dangerous. What if she bewitches my mind?

If I allow her in and she discovers something that could harm Ethan, that would be very bad. Ethan feeds on my blood every day. Does it have anything to do with what this witch wants from me?

"Lord Lucian feeds on your blood every day?!" she screamed loudly, her high-pitched voice nearly damaging my ear.

Ohh damn, I forgot she has the ability to listen to my thoughts.

"Why is he drinking your blood? What does he need it for?" she questioned curiously.
