"My Lord!" I exclaimed, desperation lacing my voice, "Everyone saw it, even Kimberly confirmed it herself."
"I don't care! Have you ever considered if she was forced? We both know how despicable Alfred could be, don't act as if you don't know!" he replied weakly, sinking back onto the bed.
"My Lord!"
"Shut up! I don't want to hear another word about it. Tomorrow, we will go rescue her."
"Yes, my Lord," I complied reluctantly, bowing slightly.
"Princess Zyra, Aurora, please excuse His Lordship, he needs some quiet," I ordered, and immediately they rose from their seats, ready to take their leave.
"Get well soon. I will check on you in the morning," Princess Zyra said sweetly to His Lordship, and I almost gagged. Despite her assistance, allowing her to stay here in the castle seemed inappropriate.
