Chapter 2: She

The girl's grip tightened on the handle of the water sprinkler she was carrying. After that, the smile disappeared from her thin lips that were as red as an apple as she looked at the approaching young man.

There is some curd in his blood that is drawn to her through his pursed lips.

And then she remembered, when did they get along? Never. And maybe that won't happen ever, they hate each other.

"here comes the victim," the girl said to herself that only she could hear.

"Violet, let's talk inside," Zayn said and then stopped in front of her. His eyes squinted.

"For what? Grandfather is at his chair, resting, he might be angry with us if we get loud." Answered Violet who seemed to know what was going to happen in just his tone.

He smirked, licking his lower lip with his tongue, he shook his head and became silent for a moment.

"Is he there? Then that would be better if he hears your cheating game, so shall we?" he teased her.

Violet's brow started to raise. She sighed, looking down at the plants she recently watering as she wear her hat to prevent the sunlight penetrating her eyes.

"Cheating huh?" she discussed still. "Now you're talking about cheating,"

"So it's true?" Zayn asked, now clenching his jaw to prevent his anger. Violet looked at her with a smile.

"Charles and I never cheat. I guess someone told you that we—"

"Just tell me the truth, Violet Herera. Is that your reason on why you wanted a divorce now?!" his voice were now sounded bad.

His hand balls in fists and Violet finally walked toward him, facing him with an emotionless green eyes.

Her white floral dress sway in the air as the wind blows so hard to their direction. She clicked her tongue inside her mouth.

"So what if it's true? What are you going to do, honey?" she let out, almost whispering.

The young man grabbed the girl's arm causing her to drop the sprinkler she was holding. He pressed it harder and the young man didn't care if the girl was hurt or not.

That's when he uttered madly, as his eyes were directly looking at her, he forced her to come closer.

"What am I going to do? Guess,"

"Let go of me, Zayn Azriel! I'm warning you," she hissed.

"Az! Let go of her! You stubborn child!"

The old man screamed that the couple didn't realize that he was already at the door out of the garden.

His curly forehead tells everything including his old age, plus the matter of fact that he wears double grade glasses. He is holding a cane to support himself while standing and his feet can often take steps.

It walked slowly towards the two and his eyes were looking at Zayn with a strong emotion.

"Azriel! what right do you think you have to hurt Herera? You're really a worthless son!" he said angrily.

He is Victorio Amora Clutterbuck, the second admiral in his times when he was still a great soldier that saves the entire nation with August Blant Barlowe, Violet Herera's grandfather, First and the highest Admiral.

The old man suddenly was accompanied by Violet as she reassured that he can walk with ease, she hold him in his hand.

"No, you're thinking the wrong way, Papa, it's just... We're just having a misunderstanding here and you've seen us in a different way," she softly said.

But Victorio resisted. "My love, I know what that stupid son of mine were doing, don't try to cover him up, he never listens to me,"

"No papa, just calm down, sit here and I'm going to make you a tea, you can come along with me, Zayn so I can make you also a good drink,"

Her eyes rolled after that. Her voices became sweeter when the old man spoke to her again.

"Herera, I really don't think you deserve to be married with this man, he's so rude, you deserve to marry Chase rather than him, he obviously doesn't care about you,"

She smiled, she shook her head before she answered. "Zayn and me are fine, Papa, but if you wanted us to have divorce, then that's fine for me,"

"Shut up, you woman!" Zayn punctuated.

"You must be the one to shut up! Azriel!" Victorio shouted. That's when she smiled while she was looking at the man.

Her eyes speak up "So he's fine with it now, Zayn" kind of look as she gently massage the old man's shoulder.

He bit his lower lip out of anger. His thick brows furrowed.

"Break up with your bitch Girlfriend and I will not let you two to be divorced, Azriel. Chase is better to stay with Herera than you! I could tell that! Gosh! Until my death I still have a headache because of you!"

"Papa, don't tell that, No one's gonna die, we're going to live happy and whole... Right, Zayn?" Violet said. She smirked.

"We're going to talk at our room later, Violet,"

Zayn said then he walked away. The girl's gaze followed him, now unable to hide the silly smile on her lips.

"So, Papa I'm going to make you a tea for a while, just stay here, hmm?" she softly said.

INSIDE THE KITCHEN of the mansion, she carefully picked her phone up and answered the call.

For over ten missed calls, she finally answered it.

"What?"

she questioned. Trying not to be loud as she was playing the wine on her glass. She leaned.

Her smile became wider, "Sure thing, He'll end up in my hands for sure, don't worry," Violet Herera said.

Looking up on the stairs, she immediately lowered the volume of her phone when a maid passed in front of her.

"One billion, Xelby, and you'll get his head. That's what we have agreed. Don't try to fool me," she whispered. "You know what I can do, I can make the tables turn,"

On her way to be back at the corridor, her eyes met his cold gazes.

"I said we're going to talk," He discussed.

"Sure, My future ex husband. Where?"

Zayn Azriel smirked, putting his hand inside his pocket, he spoke.

"I will never be your ex-husband, Violet," he pinned.
