Chapter 2: Transmigration
CHAPTER TWO
Reborn into a werewolf novel.
My eyelids opened and I gazed at the ceiling before me which had a mini chandelier that was emitting a pale blue luminescent light. I slowly swept my gaze around and realized I was in a room full of plush toys, I wondered, 'Where is this place? Heaven is really grandiose if so."
I raised my head as I felt extremely dizzy, clutching my head and I groaned in pain.
"Where in the world am I?" I sat up before the door opened.
"The Alpha seeks for your presence , also he said you should come downstairs…" The woman looked at me with contempt, she sounded quite haughty.
"Who are you?" I stared at her with so much vigilance because of the way she was looking at me as if I am a piece of trash.
She rolled her eyes at me. "Have you lost your mind after tripping down the stairs?"
Before I could lash out at her someone pushed open the door and I craned my neck to see who's there.
"Kara? Are you ok?" A nasal voice quipped, poking his head through the opened door.
I looked at him and found him unfamiliar.
'I'm certain I've never seen this face before, who are they?'
"Hey! Who are you, do you know me?, besides my name is Klara not Kara."
They both looked at me in confusion.
"Kara?, did you forget even your name?"
He strides inside and I could feel the concern in his voice.
This guy looks muscular and fit.
He touched my forehead, carefully checking my temperature as I looked at him warily.
"Who are you, why are you touching me like that? Do I know you?" At this point the confusion in my mind increased as I started wondering if I have lost my memory as they imply.
He looked at me skeptically and shook his head.
"Kara, you don't have a fever, why are you acting like you lost your memory?" He asked as he directed his eyes at the maid.
"Martha go inform the alpha and Luna to come up here." Then he looks back at me, "Kara,don't you remember me?, I'm your brother Henry, Don't tell me you just woke up from sleep and have sudden amnesia?" His stare was so deep that I felt uncomfortable all over. He was too near, and I started to feel the irritation of being in close contact with him.
"Stay away from me. Don't touch me." My sudden words seemed to shock him as he drew back from his current position.
"This is unbelievable…" He muttered in a low voice.
The door opened the next second and a stern feminine voice echoed inside the room.
"Kara Salvador, it seems like you've lost your manners." A woman with a golden blonde hair, stepped into the room with a lanky large man, who looked not less than thirty eight, following behind her.
Besides, what do they mean by Alpha and Luna?
"What made you think I lost my manners, do I know you?" My gaze was very fierce.
The blonde woman went speechless; she couldn't even utter a word.
"Kara that was rude, that's your mother, and she is the Luna." The man said, as he made his way towards me, he touched my forehead to inspect my condition.
"You seem fine to me. darling are you alright?" His words were soft like though he was coaxing a child.
I think there is something wrong with this whole scenario.
Looking as confused as ever, I slowly stood up from the bed and made my way out of it, studying my surroundings as slowly as I can.
My gaze suddenly collided with a mirror. I stood still and beheld the unknown person staring back at me.
A young girl not less than eighteen, with a golden blond hair, rosy full lips, high nose bridge with pale blue eyes was staring back at me, ' a real beauty indeed.' I muttered inwardly.
Hold on a second! Is this me? I remember I had silky brown hair before, and this isn't the color of my eyes! They were originally hazel brown, in color.
What is going on?
I raised my hand to touch the hair skeptically , the person in the mirror did the same.
"Holy shit!" This isn't my body!
A sudden wave of headache and pain hit me before I lost consciousness out of shock.
"Kara!!" Henry caught me before I hit the floor.
"Mother call the healer, I think something is wrong with Kara's memory."
"Are you sure it has nothing to do with the banquet she attended yesterday?" The Alpha asked, looking at the Luna.
"If that was the case, Stephanie would have told me, yesterday Kara didn't talk to anyone when she came back from the banquet, I asked her how the banquet went, but she didn't reply, you know how she acts when upset." Jane muttered, discarding his assumptions.
Alpha Ben sighed, he still has some matters in the pack to deal with and has to play his role as a father.

"The healer is here." Martha informed,before stepping aside.
"Greetings to the Alpha of the shadow pack"
"Rise." He ordered gruffly, before motioning him into Kara's room.
"Healer, what is wrong with my daughter?" Jane asked.
"I am not sure of the cause, but her memory is glitching. I think she is trying to delude herself, and this can only happen if she suffers from a severe shift in emotion."
"Apart from yesterday, she has been fine all these while." Julie murmured, clearly worried.
"Well, this is the only reasonable excuse I can give you Luna." He bowed, showing his reverence before raising his head again.
These were the words I heard, before opening my eyes once again. I think I just understood what was happening to me. I suddenly transmigrated into a book I read in my teenage days in middle school titled : The Alpha is obsessed with his Luna.
Unluckily for me, I got the role of a villainess, who was killed by the Alpha for trying to hurt his precious Luna..
How stupid can the former host of this body be?
I sighed in anger before looking at the so-called healer who was looking at me with those gray orbs of his.
'This healer is an old white bearded man.'
That was what I concluded.
The way he stared at me, it looked like he was staring at the depths of my soul.
I looked at the hunk of a man, the Alpha of the shadow pack, Alpha Ben Salvador and looked at his Luna Jane Salvador, they are currently my parents. The parents of the previous host.
The young hunk, who came in before was my elder brother, Henry Salvador.
My life just got from better to worse, at least that is how I saw it.
"Bring me food, I am hungry, I will also need some space, if you don't mind that is…" I stated, rising up from my position.
"I think we should give her some space to get herself together." The healer suggested.
Alpha Devin sighed before leaving the room, followed by Luna Jane.
"She changed, Kara has never been this outspoken, authoritative and blunt." The Luna said as she made her way outside.
I rolled my eyes overhearing hee words.
"I would suggest you let her be, the full moon is near, it might be the cause of it." The healer answered.
"How does that make any sense? Can a full moon cause a drastic change in character? Is that even possible?" Luna Jane yelled at the healer clearly agitated, she doesn't even know what is wrong with her daughter.
"Darling, calm down, he isn't the moon goddess. Who knows?, at least our daughter is alive." Alpha Ben hugged his Luna to console her.
"Martha, take food to Kara. " Julie instructed before going to deal with the new members of the pack who just joined recently.
Martha bowed in response.
Alpha went to sign off his remaining files in his study room.
"Why aren't you also leaving? What's your deal with me?" I questioned, looking at the hot dude who refused to budge.
"I kind of prefer the new Kara, at least your gloomy aura is gone." Henry commented, with a smirk on his lips and I rolled my eyes at him.
I don't know what it is, but my nose got a lot more sensitive than ever, and my sight got sharper.
Henry reeks of earth and has a unique male hormone, I guess maybe it's because he is a werewolf.
Realizing that I won't reply to him, Henry came closer to me and sat on the bed. "What happened during the banquet?"
"Get off my bed Henry." I refused to give him a reply,
'I am not even sure of the details myself, how would I know?'
"Kara, answer me!" He used an authoritative tone on me.
One thing about me, I'm stubborn that's a fact.
"Don't you dare use that tone on me, first it's my privacy, if I don't want to tell you then that's my problem." If he doesn't budge, I won't budge either.
He took a stubborn stance not budging from his sitting position.
Now I see why werewolves are indeed stubborn, they can easily get on one's nerves.
"Kara, I'm your elder brother, when I ask you a question you answer." He grits his teeth at me, realizing I won't respond to him anymore.
"Why are you suddenly being stubborn?"
I got agitated, as I used my bare hands to push him off the bed, I felt static energy go off my finger tips, as Henry screamed in pain and shock.
"Kara! What the hell?!"
Henry slammed his back on the wall causing a large dent on it, as he crunched himself in pain, I heard him growling, ready to turn into his wolf form.
Realizing he was losing control, he turned completely and jumped out of the window into the forest.
Soon, I heard an angry Wolf growl in a distance.
I looked at my fingers and the static energy was still emitting out of it.
