Chapter 30: Ruphas returns
"A monster with so much potential yet it holds grudges which is its only downfall," Scathach remarked while her tone grew colder with each word. "Let's finish things off, I rather go fight those gods in Ragnorokh than this monster," her cold indifferent voice fell and the monster felt a shiver down in the back.
Regal appeared beside Scathach who summoned her spear back "Might as well, I lost interest in fighting it now," He remarked while his sword glowed, "It was really getting fun but... Sigh, let's get this over with," His disappointment was clear, and his eyes turned cold.
Instantly they both disappeared and
BOOOOMM!!! x 2
The monster was mashed into the 40th floor's wall making it go through them like papers.
Scathach gave her spear a little spin and threw it, disappearing at the same time. She reappeared in front of the monster, her hands holding a flower made out of mana.
She tossed the flower towards the monster and at the same time the spear she threw reached it, the flower and spear made contact and
BOOM!
The monster was engulfed in a torrent of mana that drowned it like a tsunami, Regal appeared below the monster and slashed his sword that has a blackish aura that took the shape of a dragonic creature.
CHING!!!
Both the legs of the monster were cut off while the spear was plunged into its chest and the flower was raging in its head, the monster wasn't even given a chance here, but would it go down so easily? NOPE!
"KKKKKRRRRREEEEE!!!!" The monster roared in rage and desperation, trying to get out of its situation with all its might while trying to make a swift attack towards Regal and Scathach who easily dodged it.
But will Scathach and Regal let this monster go that easily? Well, do you need an answer...?
Scathahc simply resummoned her spear and threw it straight at the head of the monster while Regal solidified the air giving Scathach's attack the time to plunge into the monster's head.
Regal made a few slashing motions that cut that monster into pieces instantly, the battle was over.
So what if the monster could hold its own against Rega or Scathach in a One-on-one, it doesn't mean it's strong enough to kill them or even servery hurt them. So no matter the monster would be dead and that's a fact.
"Alright, let's go to Ragnorock now," Regal spoke his tone plain but the excitement was visible in his eyes. Scathach just nodded her own excitement overwhelming.
---Little garden---
"Howdy! I am a senior official of Thousand Eyes. My name is Shiroyasha, our headquarters are located in the fourth digit region, gate #3345," Shiroyasha introduced while folding her fan, with a small smile. "I know Black Rabbit from some stuff that happened a while back, and I have been helping her out on occasion since then, As you can see I am a very laid beautiful girl."
"What a gate?" Yo, who sat with Calico Cat on her lap taking a small nap.
"One of the openings that are found in the wall of the little garden, Blab blab blab." Black Rabbit started explaining the structure of the little garden but the attention of Ruphau was on Shiroyasha who also was staring right back, both smiled. Neither was Hostil nor were aware of each other's power so they kept their hands.
Miko and Haruhime who sat behind Ruphas watched this like it was some live action, they even had some snacks and drinks in hand, of course, the snacks and Drinks came from Azu who was also watching from Danmachi with her own snacks and drinks.
"Well, then let's play a game shall we," Shiroyasha casually said while getting up, "I see that you have gotten that water tree from the serpent, I am the one that gave it divinity," and she casually added while looking at Izayoi who had slightly narrowed his eyes but seem to glance at Ruphas.
"I see that you have learned your lesson and won't make a fool of yourself," Shiroyasha commented.
"Hey, you got a big ego, but mine is bigger," Izayoi stood up followed by Asuka and Yo.
"I dont mind taking you on any time," Asuka stated her tone provocative. Yo didn't say anything but her message of standing with Izayoi and Asuka was clear.
"Oh, will it be a casual gave or maybe... a challange?" Shiroyasha grinned while taking out a blue card from her sleeves, "I am lacking playmates so this will be fun," She commented and the card glowed in a blinding blue light followed by the floor falling.
Everyone was transported to one of Shiroyasha's game boards.

"What the!"
"Relax, this is one of my many gameboards," Shiroyasha's amusedly sad while looking at the three sitting at the side watching this as if it was a live show.
Ruphas had joined Miko and Haruhime, but she wasn't interested in taking part in a little game, "Is this a little world you created? It's very interesting, I should give it a try later on!" Ruphas was more interested in the gameboard than the game.
Shiroyasha smiled but her eyes revealed helplessness, she was very curious about Ruphas but couldn't really ask her directly, as a Demon Lord and a proclaimed laid-back girl she wasn't going to just ask. Well, she might, just not now.
"I the demon lord of the White Night, the spirit of the sun and the White Nights. I am one of the many demon lords of the little garden and also the strongest host." Shiroyasha reintroduced herself grandly while her fan covered her mouth. "So then shall the game begin?" Her arrogant tone fell and a tense silence fell.
"Start already, it will get boring if you dont," Miko from the side lazily commented while biting a cookie. "If you make it too dramatic and have nothing to show for it it would be a horrible live show." She commented again making Shiroyasha's lip twitch.
"I can hear you..."
"Eh? My apologies, you weren't supposed to hear that," Miko genuinely apologized while sipping her drink, her conduct here wasn't so lady-like or priest-like.
"...judging by your clothes you are working in a shrine, yet you are more laid back than me, makes me wonder what kind of shrine you work in," Shiroyasha's tone was suggestive making Miko a little uncomfortable, usually Miko would stand her ground but she isn't dumb, Shiroyasha was taking it lightly as well and Miko being the experienced fox she is shut her mouth.
Shiroyasha glared at her, "Backing off already, I had just thought of some good thing to point out, you made me waste some brain cells,"
The tension that was high disappeared and was replaced by an awkward and stupid one,
"Back to the game," Shiroyasha stated and things turned out just like the anime.
The game was for someone to ride a griffin around the mountain without falling which was taken by Yo who eagerly accepted.
The outcome was the same, Yo won the friendship of the Griffan the King of the Animal.
(I refuse to call Griffens the king of monsters when Dragons exist!)
Ruphas didn't care about the game, her concentration was on the gameboard completely, Miko watched with amusement while Haruhime...well she was meek as ever.
Azu in Danmachi chilled while watching it on a giant screen like it was a show.

"So when was the last game,?" Ruphas surveyed the desolated land that was the home of the No-name community, "Hmm, this isn't down by time, I am assuming that it was a demon lord," she concluded as she observed the land with a critical eye.

"It was three years ago..." Black Rabbit's ears dropped as she looked sadly at the destroyed and aged land.
"Just from the looks of the place it could have been hundreds of years," Izayoi picked up a rock that turned into dust with little effort with a small frown. "Demon lord huh? Haha.. sounds fun,"
"Dont get your hopes, high kid, you are still weak," Puphas shut down Izayoi instantly and started to walk into the destroyed land. Every step she took made the mana violent.
The soil started to be restored but no grass or anything grew, but the dead-looking land started to look more vibrant. Ruphas's mana burst out and the soil that had been dead and dry started to turn to a brown color.
The dead trees started to wither away and a small sapling grew from their spots. "I won't do much but I will leave things like this, it is perfect for cultivation so make use of it," Ruphas advised while her black wings extended wide.
The void cracked and she stepped through. "She really came and went like no big deal, wander when she will return now," Izayoi commented while looking at the crack with some inhibitions.
"Who knows, she also has work in another world then another so might take something," Miko chimed in while looking at a card in her hand.
[The time difference is massive between the worlds, it has been a few hours here but in Danmachi it's been a few days, the time difference changes but I will make it so that she returns at the very moment the gift game starts.]
"Hmm, she will be back tomorrow when the gift game starts," Miko stated making everyone look at her, "What I just got confirmation," She said while showing them her card, and pointing at the last gift.
The card had 3 gifts showing.

Of course, the system was hiding the other, it would be strange if Miko had more, not that it isn't strange enough for her to have 3 gifts.
