Chapter 3: 3: First One
"So, you are specialized in archery, and both the girls have endurance potential?" Arowu said while his finger holding his chin.
The dwarf nodded, followed by his wives. Seems like their posture gives supports what they do. Tirus is pretty big as well, he got the axe and shield potential. This might be the keyword.
"Then the grey scale got rune, and the purple-ish got axe-shield combination?" This time, the dwarf asked the lizardmans back, the answer is the same.
Arowu seems to be more confused about his ability, what should he do with this paper, he got no idea. Maybe, chanting like inconsequent words like the elf did. But it will do no justice about his coolness.
"Ar ar, got something bugging you?" Tirus noticed.
"It is about the rune, what do I do, auoo..." Arowu replied, the dwarf and his wives just looking from the side.
Looks like Tirus got some idea, he approached the elf and asked Marol about Arowu's ability. Then came back with an annoyed face.
"That elf said he doesn't want to help the competitor." Tirus said, got the dwarf kicking stone around him as a reaction.
The dwarf looks like he had enough waiting and wanted to go through the door already. "Let's find out about that later, Aruwo." He said to Arowu.
"It is Arowu, Varam."
"Alright."
The five of them have decided to go into the door. While the elf, Marol, is cheering them from the back.
"Oh, boy. This ability of mine is really something I couldn't get used to. Their death are tragic..." Marol thought, while wiping his tears.
[Inside the door, leading to first space]
"Babe, it is so dirty here, ew..." said Amanda, while holding her shoes together.
"It is okay if it is dirty, but muddy too..." said Tanya, does the same.
Who knows, this space they are in will be a muddy jungle. Even though it is muddy, dirty and moist, the plants here are beautiful. There are some hills on the side, but looks like it is guarded by strange looking crocodile.
"Uyuyuyuyu, my dear wives, let me hold them for you..." Varam offered to carry their shoes, his wives immediately nodded. "Let us wash each other feet later, let this be our sweet day, hihihi." Varam continues followed by his wives giggles.
"Ar Ar, I can't hear any more than this." Tirus whispers, scratching his own head.
"Well, same." Arowu groans.
The five of them didn't have any more difficulties until they arrived at the more solid land. Varam and his wives seemed to found a river to wash their feet. While the lizards are searching for cave or alternatives. Well, they found one, but it is rather a strange one.
"This is more like an abandoned mansion, Ar Ar." Tirus said as he arrived to where Arowu stands at.
"It is good to be sleeping here." Arowu replies.
"Well, but it is kind of a suspicious building." Tirus adds more caution. "Well, Ar Ar. Let me call the married first." He continues as walking to the direction of the river.
Now Arowu is alone, he just has a look at the surrounding gates. It is shaped like a gargoyle statue between the gate. This is like a horror building he remembered when, no, he forgot again. He had a random thought of writing something on the paper he got and stick it on the gate.
"Ghost, please don't attack us..." As Arowu write, suddenly Tirus read it from behind him.
"Ack, you startled me, auoo..." Arowu caresses his own chest, getting a snicker from Tirus.
Arowu stick the paper to the gate, hoping it would work.
"Is that going to work?" Varam said, followed by the wives saying "yes, no?" from behind.
"I might find out if I try." Arowu said, pressing the paper so it will stick more.
After all that, the five of them walking at the front yard. The front yard seems to be filled with black and white roses, it is such a thrilling sensation to be walking around here. Not to mention, there's no light sources as well, only dim light.
"This might suit our husband, right, Tanya?" Said Amanda, holding the white rose.
"Yes, our beloved husband might be looking cute with these roses." Tanya agreed, eventually both wives looking at their husband.
"My wives best know about me." Varam chuckles.
The lizard seem to shake their head looking at the lovey-dovey from these married gangs.
"They are at it again, Ar Ar, auoo..." Tirus whines.
"Us us, married bros, look." Said Aruwo, pointing at the huge door.
Looks like this door in front of them is what comes next to their riddle on this space. Without sound, suddenly there's an owl already perched on Varam's shoulder since half a minute ago they are walking.
"Newer. Welcome to my space." The owl suddenly talk.
"AAAAH!" The five of them screamed in surprise when the owl talked, seems like they only realized just now.
"It is always been like this, huh." The owl laughed as it flies and perched to one of the wall lamp thingy. Then he continued, "I am Razumudia, an assassin as well as guardsman owl for this second space."
Now, five of them nod to each other about they arrived to the right destination right away. The owl seem to be scanning them all, about how prepared they are, seems like he is satisfied.
"This team is a really great combination, I give you an applause. Also, thanks to your team member that in charge of runes, the monster here seems to not notice all your presence. Only for lower level ghosts, though."
Hearing the owl, they praised Arowu and throwing him on air for that. The owl seems to be amused by this composition of comedy.
"I will reward you all with food for that genius of thinking. Let's head in, ladies and gentlemen." Razumudia continues once again as he easily opened the heavy looking door.
The mansion doesn't look that abandoned when being inside of it, this is probably three times better than what they imagined. Lots of room to be resided, and more. Seems like the worker here are owls too.
"The speciality of this space, do you know what it is?" The owl give out a random quiz out of nowhere. All of them shook their head and shoulder.
"It is the final test is in the same mansion here." Said the owl, happily.
"So we don't have to go anywhere else?" Tanya asked.
Owl shook his shoulder when being asked this.
"You might find out about it later, but I am sure all the important thing is here." The owl gives more hint.
"Well, now, choose the room you are liking. Got only two room for one team, though. Since, I don't really know how much team will be there."
Last words from the owl before he flies away to his personal room. It is already pretty dark too here, so they decide it is a good idea to stay in the room first.
"Us Us, you really choose the further room from them, yea?" Arowu asked Tirus, as he is laying on the bed lazily, gazing at the paper.
"Auooo, they will be really loud for sure, Ar Ar..." Tirus said, joining Arowu on the bed.
"Better sleep soon yeah, we need to be ready tomorrow." Tirus continue.
Arowu nods as both of them sleep. Meanwhile, on the other side, seems like Varam and his wives got a beer drinking competition going on in their room, they laugh in full of spirits.
