Chapter 2: Group date!
Resting in the infirmary, the teacher did not stay in the infirmary room for long and went to do her own job as a coach and instructor of the girls volleyball team.
When Kaiya was left on his own, he examined every detail of the application and discovered that the idol management game was the only one loaded on the smartphone and that no other regular applications were being downloaded onto the system.
After that, he concluded that the smartphone itself was what caused the app to function as it did and that, should he keep using the smartphone and its application, there may be more hidden surprises for him.
'I have to buy some food for lunch.' Kaiya was a little tired, but he still needed some lunch, and after that, he still wanted to continue the class, although it was just PE class, and he could totally skip it.
'Why is that girl having that kind of comment in the system.' He was genuinely curious about the subject and kept thinking about the same thing, so he tried to figure out why Mahiru had made that remark.
Crash!!!
When the infirmary door opened, Kaiya was startled for a moment by the loud noise it made before realizing it was the girl he had been thinking about all along coming into the room.
"So you were here after all." The girl had the same silent expression on her face as she looked at Kaiya with a distant look, and with a slight smile, she took out the document from her bag and walked to take the seat in front of him.
Though Kaiya was used to talking in this way when she spoke to boys, she did not mind because she was used to it. However, after reading those psychological messages, Kaiya noticed something strange about her expression for the first time.
"Thank you for providing these papers. If it is not too much trouble, could you also lend me the lecture notes that I missed? I will try to send them back to you tomorrow."
Mahiru was about to leave because of the strange silence, but when she heard Kaiya ask, she frowned a little.
However, since he was the only person in the class who did not have any friends to ask for notes, she decided to nod.
"Thanks; that will be really helpful." Kaiya apologized for the trouble, but Shiina had that same smile from before on her face while talking with him.
"No! It is alright, Takashi-san." The girl replied and walked out of the infirmary.
'Looking at it like this, it is very hard to tell that she had such things inside her mind, and she appear to be normal high school girl to me.'
Takashi Kaiya muttered within his breath, but he did not notice that Shiina, who walked out of the infirmary, had a slight eased look on her face, and for some reason, while talking with Kaiya, she felt a strange feeling of closeness.
'I might as well complete all the work in the infirmary and return to her at the class later on; this way, I won't make her more trouble.' Taking out the notebook from his bag, Kaiya started to write the notes as he completely forgot about lunch and all and did not notice that he had a message from his parents due to vibration mode.
Kaiya managed to take all of his notes during P.E. and lunch, and when the bell rang, he left the infirmary.
He discovered that Shiina was nowhere to be found, so he hurried out of the school in the direction that Shiina usually went, even though it was completely opposite from his apartment.
I found her! While sprinting quickly, Kaiya noticed a familiar figure and attempted to call out her name, giving the girl a small fright before turning to find Kaiya heavily perspiring and panting.
A small frown appeared on the girl's face as she spoke, "Takashi-san, is there something I can help you with? again."
"Sorry! Haaaah! Haa! I apologize for calling you out like this behind your back, but I wanted to return these notes and saw that everyone had left before I could finish taking them."
Takashi Kaiya looked really fatigued, and seeing him return her notes, Mahiru felt that he was pretty much an idiot to run this far to return them since he could have returned them later on, though it did help her out a little.
"You looked a bit troubled when giving them, so I ended up realizing that the tests were coming and that you could have wanted to review today, class."
The second she heard his reason, a slight change appeared in her expression, though it was rather subtle and went unnoticed by Kaiya.
'He completed it during PE class and during lunch, I guess, given the notes were quite a bit, so did he even have a lunch or what?' Shiina was the quiet type, but she was not a moron either.
She had already figured out the most of Kaiya, which made her a little amused and caused her perception of the boy in front of her to slightly alter.
"Then I will be leaving." Kaiya started to run away from there when he got a call from Itsuki, who was asking for him to come and join him for the group hangout.
'He live on the opposite side.'
"My name is Rika, and I study in the same cram class as Yuya-kun." Before he knew it, Kaiya was dragged into the mixer, and sitting in front of him was another idol character that was accepted by the management application.
"My name is Miina, a well-known Minami-High Idol girl."
"Is that something? You even say it yourself. My name is Kanae." A burst of laughter erupted, but Kaiya's entire focus was fixed on the girl in front of him, who also had a subtle expression on her face despite appearing slightly cold.
'Let's just select her too.' Kaiya looked at the name Tachibana Rui and selected it when the girl in front of him started to talk and spoke in a slightly cold tone, "Rui... Tachibana Rui."
"Come on, Rui! You have to hyppen up at a time like this." The girl named Rika held Rui's arm and spoke with a slight chuckle, as she knew that is how Rui tends to act and wanted to cover it up for her.
However, Kaiya ignored it because he was so shocked by the fact that the application also contained the girl's name, even though he had never heard of her before and did not really know who she was.
It is evident from this that the application was completely legitimate and that he stood to lose his virginity tonight. After all, the girl's psychological message was...
