Chapter 11: a little meeting (part 1)

"Please eat slowly, leaving some for me and your senior sister."

"Yes."

Yu Long was enjoying the delicious pork, while the monkey, due to some tasks, temporarily left the place. Of course, she had told Yu Long protect me, and this innocent Yu Long was very obedient.

"Nom nom."

Yu Long's appetite was terrifying despite her small body; she almost finished half of the roasted pig in 2 minutes.

"Now, how to deal with this little girl's clothing..."

Currently, she was wearing nothing but a white robe, so 80% of her body was exposed, making me truly afraid of the FBI touching my ass.

"It seems like Wukong can also transform clothes by herself, right? Maybe when she returns to her senses, I'll ask her to teach me."

Clothing is crucial because if it's winter or something, I'll freeze and get sick.

"Um... hello?"

'I'm quite curious about this little girl's background because, from what she said, she used to be a princess under the water before turning into a ferocious dragon.'

"Oiii, did you hear me?"

'Wukong seems to know something about Yu Long but isn't telling me. There must be something about this girl that Wukong doesn't want to reveal, right?'

"This person didn't hear me!"

"Please remain calm! This person seems to be thinking, his face clearly resembling the pitbull I own!"

"...Why do I feel like I'm being insulted?"

"His ass kinda hot."

"Huh? What did you say?"

"N-nothing!"

'...someone is definitely talking about me!!!'

Breaking free from my thoughts, I glanced towards the source of the voice. And oh my, golden light illuminated the entire night, almost blinding me.

"AGHHHH!!!"

"What the?! What's wrong with this person??"

"It seems he can't bear the light you emit! After all, he's just a newcomer to the first level."

"What?! He's that weak?! Why didn't you tell me earlier??"

Eventually, the light gradually faded, and my eyes returned to normal. There was a girl standing on a flying lotus, and the person beside her as well.

'Is that person male or female?'

"I am male."

"Oh, thank-- WAIT! HOW DO YOU KNOW WHAT I'M THINKING??"

"Instinct."

'Even boys have women's instincts??' I looked perplexed at the Buddhist disciple.

"Um... instead of caring about my disciple, why don't you care about how I look?" The girl in the white dress seemed irritated as she asked me.

"Oh, I'm sorry. I've seen too many beautiful girls, so I'm lazy to describe you for the readers."

"What do you mean? And readers? Is someone secretly watching us?" She looked around confused.

Meanwhile, I checked where Yu Long went and found her sleeping, even drooling.

"Lucky she's okay." Then I turned back to the other two.

"Um... what's your name?"

"Oh! I forgot to introduce myself! I'm Quan Yin (Bodhisattva)!"

"Never heard of you." Yes, I was serious. I only knew about Wukong and Tang Sanzang; the rest I had no clue about.

"What?! You've never heard of me?!!!"

"Please calm down! This human seems to have crawled out of the earth, so you don't need to worry about him!"

"Hey! What do you mean?!"

After a while, Quan Yin seemed to regain her composure and looked at me with a calm and gentle gaze.

"So, may I ask, are you the one who lifted the seal for Sun Wukong?"

"Yeah."

"So? How did you enter that forest?"

"Don't know."

"...then how did you deal with Yu Long?"

"Not sure, just followed my instinct."

"..." Quan Yin was speechless, holding her head as if she had just been hit with a hammer.

"Please, calm down! This human is clearly the lover of the stone monkey! Though I'm not sure, surely he's as dumb as she is!"

"Hey! Why do you keep insulting me?!"

"Who knows, looking at you makes me uncomfortable, like I have a feeling that you'll play tricks on me in the future."

"WHAT DO YOU MEAN? I DON'T UNDERSTAND!!"

Then Quan Yin stared at me with intense hostility, emitting an incredibly strong pressure.

"Alright, I'll be honest with you. I came here for one purpose only: to understand who released the seal on Sun Wukong and Yu Long."

"And you've disappointed me. How on earth could you release the seal on both divine beings with such low skills?"

Her eyes were full of judgment, as if I were in a courtroom.

"Therefore, I will take back Sun Wukong and Yu Long, hoping you won't refuse."

"...What are you talking about?"

Did I hear her correctly? Take them back?

"I said I will take back Sun Wukong and Yu Long. Do I need to repeat it for the third time?"

...

"No shit Sherlock."

"What did you say?!"

"Both of them are the ones I released the seal on. What right do you have?"

What right did she have? I was the one who went through the trouble of releasing their seal, and now she wants to take them away from me?

"Um... what rights do I have again? I forgot!" Quan Yin looked embarrassed before whispering to the buddhist disciple.

"Ma'am! You are the guide and you have the right to reclaim items that belong to the common property of Buddhism, and Sun Wukong and Yu Long belong to the possession of the Buddhist ancestors."

"Oh, right, right! That's it!" Quan Yin nodded and turned to me.

...What the FUCK did I just hear?

"...Do you consider them objects?" I glared angrily at Quan Yin.

"BULLSHIT! Wukong has saved me countless times (not that much but still), so I'll repay her kindness, and Yu Long is so innocent, yet you consider them as an object?! What kind of Buddhism is this?!"

"But-"

"No buts you big boobie bitches!"

I stepped in front of Quan Yin, looking at her with determination.

"I know what you're thinking about them."

"Your guys only see them as evil creatures that kill humans, then you're completely mistaken! What do you know about Wukong? Are you going to say she's an arrogant who commit genocide huh? Or a dragon that feasts on passing humans?"

Grabbing Quan Yin's collar tightly, I warned her.

"Don't even think about it! I'll protect them! Because I owe them enough!"

My life has been saved by Wukong, and I've also learned enough about her when we traveled without purpose.

And they seeing them as a fucking OBJECT.

Releasing her collar, I stepped back and looked at Quan Yi.

At this moment, Quan Yin didn't say anything, tears fell from her eyes like a river, and her face was very red.

"You! Do you know what you just did?!"

"I know."

"NO YOU NOT KNOW! YOU JUST TOUCHED HER HAND FOR ABOUT 0.1 SECONDS! OUR BUDDHISM NEVER ACCEPTS SUCH LEWD BEHAVIOR!!"

"WAIT WHAT?!"

"ENOUGH!" A powerful voice emanated from Quan Yin's mouth.

'She's angry now... and I'm still scared to death.'

I sighed, ready to accept my fate even though I didn't want to at all.

"You" Quan Yin pointed at me.

I sweated nervously as I looked at her.

"If you're so determined to protect them like that, then you'll be responsible for reciting scriptures! Do you know that I don't even want to go out and do these annoying tasks?!"

... Huh?

"Since I became a Bodhisattva and had to give up my human identity, the pressure has been weighing on me, and now I just want what's best for you because you're just a weak human who can't fight against such powerful beings, yet you insult me!"

"It's not like I enjoy saying things that make you upset, you know?! I used to be human too so I understand! So I have to do it to keep you from being killed!"

"UGAHHHH I HATE THIS JOB, I'M SO TIRED, I'M SO STRESS!!" Quan Yin kept speaking continuously and crying like a child, leaving me frozen as I looked at her.

'She has the body of a mommy, but her personality is childish...'
