Chapter 38: SLAVE TRAINING

Enforcer Claudio arrived early in the morning to pick us up and we headed to the training grounds by the time we got there so many slaves were present for the training.

Surprisingly the royal family members were present. But the Lords were missing and I wondered why they had set up such a show.

" Welcome all. Today must be a good day since you are all here to witness the slave training. It might get bloody and messy hence I would urge the members of the coven to select the slaves carefully. Only the strongest will survive.

Finally, the Lords arrived and my body buzzed as they arrogantly walked over, head held high, Pompous and arrogant, like the true kings they were, and sat on the pavilion.

" Welcome your majesties " Guardian Lenora spoke up. " We are pleased by the fact that you have graced us on this occasion where the members of the coven choose the guards slaves that protect the castle's inner courts.

" Thank you, Guardian, " Silas said.
